Wildflower Resort

I stayed with my family here to enjoy an amazing adventure in Bandhavgarh and the stay at Wildflower took our experience to the next level. With their hospitality, cleanliness, delicious food and the level of effort put by the staff to take care of their guests comfort this forest abode deserves the highest praise. There is so much to experience like nature trail in forest, tour of local tribal village, apart from the jeep safaris, all this and much more made our stay here an amazing experience.

The owner Mr. Avinash definitely needs some hospitality lessons. Our original plan had been cancelled and we were not turning up for the trip because of my grandmother's ill health. We had let go of the 32k advance we paid to the property for 5 rooms as the cancellation was pretty last minute however on insistence of the owner regarding his loss due to end minute cancellation a few of us ***aged to go and could occupy only 3 rooms instead of 5 and had very clearly told the owner that don't do a pro-rata adjus**ent for rooms against the advance since we were not planning to come and are only coming as an obligation to you. He thanked us over the phone and said we will adjust it. When we reached the property and paid 50k as part amount during checkin they started insisting on pro-rata adjus**ent to which I very clearly told the reception staff to speak to the owner since we had clearly told him about the same. The next day on 31st Dec, the reception staff plus the property ***ager on multiple occasions during the day came for asking the balance payment while still insisting on not adjusting the entire advance. When we spoke to the owner about this over the phone, his entire tone of talking changed and he said - "You are not doing charity or an obligation by coming to our property, and if that's the case let me get your car also fuelled up since you are doing charity for us by coming to our property" We simply couldn't believe how simply the owner has turned on his words and his tone changed. We were just thinking we were better off had we not obliged him at all and kept our plan cancelled instead. We had only come and occupied 3 rooms to just let him not suffer a huge loss during new years. All this drama for a 10K adjus**ent while we were paying 77k for occupying 3 rooms. Sadly for us we also lost our grandmother on 31st night and it was the saddest decision of our life to come to the property and oblige Mr. Avinash. May God guide him for the better in future. As for the property, it is in definite need of some maintenance - our room had no telephone to call the reception, no TV connection, and the shower and hand shower weren't working. We literally had to sit at the edge of the bathtub under the tap to bathe and it was impossible. Don't book safari from the property as the. Property was pretty much misguiding instead of helping us to get the Safari tickets revised for the people who eventually came. Reception staff as well as the owner and also the ***ager all were pretty useless in this case and wanted us to spend more money just so that we booked one more safari with them instead of using our original booking. When we went to the ticket counter ourselves only then did we understand that we were being made fool of and it was very easy to get a revised ticket from the counter. We ended up booking our safari directly at the counter by paying approx. 5000/- with the Jeep, guide and ticket price. The service staff are smiling and helpful for your n

Terrible experience. Better to look for other properties in Bandhavgarh. The room pools had no water and could not be filled since there's no way of filling it up. Rooms need maintenance especially the bathrooms need to be maintained better. Food options are very limited and repetitive - need a better menu ***ager for the buffet they offer.

Celebrated the best birthday of my my life on 20th November at the Wildflower Resort at Bandhavgarh with the staff and the owner of the resort having hosted it himself. Hats off to the rank and file of the institution. Cleanliness and quality of the linen was extraordinary and the toilets larger than the normal bedrooms in cities. Hospitality aboveboard, one of the most memorable stays of a frequent traveller like me.

My daughter booked us here as a surprise for our 30th anniversary. It was a great experience staying with such caring people. It was like staying at ones own holiday home. As our daughter had communicated that its our anniversary they took great care by accomodating us in a lovely suite room decorated with flowers. They arranged a private setup of candle light dinner and a cake as well. It was such an heart warming gesture! the last time we had such experience was on our first anniversary when we were a young couple. It is not just these affectionate things but the quality they deliver as well. The room, food and service exceeded our expectations. To give an example we had a morning safari for which we asked for a wakeup call at 4.30 am and the knock on our door coincided with my phone alarm. A waiter stood on the door with a flask of tea and biscuits. The tea was without sugar and the biscuits salty as they were told that we are diabetic. Have stayed in numerous five star business hotels but such attention to detail at a forest resort is worth an applause. What to say more...a few of my friends have already visited the wildflower since my experience. Keep it up. God bless you all!

Stayed in a suite at The Wildflower in Bandhavgarh. It was clean and super comfortable. The food was excellent. The level of service is simply the best we have experienced in any of the Wildlife resorts in India that we have experienced so far. Mr Prakash helped us in arranging jeep safaris in addition to a walking tour in the nearby tribal village and a nature trail in the forest which were all a good experience. The pool was quiet and relaxing, a great place to return to after a tiring jeep satati in such hot weather. We had a great time here.

Excellent environment here, hospitality,food quality also very good, they give us nice breakfast packet for safari early in the morning around 5 am. I recommend everyone visiting bandhvagarh to stay here

We had a wonderful experience at the wildflower. The rooms were tidy and very well maintained, the food was exceptionally good, the staff was well behaved and Mr. Prakash was really helpful all *****. The property also has a lot of bird activities making it a good spot for birders. I would recommend everyone to choose The Wildflower for their stay at Kanha.

The room was very clean and air conditioned. The resort crew gave us water on time, they gave us towels and quick response to our problems. The bad thing that I felt was there was a toilet flush issue.
