Hotel in zona MAJI Square, Taipei

Nice breakfast with various options. Very friendly staff and warm service (they provide their own shuttle service but with a schedule). The room is spacious and cozy. I like how they separate office area (with a big desk) and sleeping area.

我買的訂單早餐是含了早餐，又死都要我們付款吃早餐費。 女服務生都很好，但男服務員態度極之差，後來但因為原來酒店弄鋪了房子，給了沒有付早餐錢的訂單房給我們，所以致問題出現。把我們付了早餐的房給了其他人。最後仲係咁追討我們付款。男服務生態度極之差，沒有了解就大鬧，取行李就報警，原全接受不了酒店可以會這樣對客戶。 最後走還串我們不付款。真的有點過份吧。

I like this place. The lobby of this hostel is airy and well decorated. There are many bathrooms and toilets which we don’t have to worry that it’s not gonna be enough. It’s rarely to see staff stand by at the front desk, but it’s fine for me. Staff doesn’t communicate much. Maybe they’re shy to speak with foreigners. But I know they’re nice and helpful. Also, water machine isn’t working. Anyway, I would recommend this place :)

• Decorations in the hotel room are a bit dated • The rooms are very clean • Quiet hotel, not too much noise outside • Free snacks in the lobby (coffee, crackers) • Front desk staff are friendly • Many convenient stores are located close by (2 Family Marts & 2 7-Eleven are within 5 minutes walking) • Walking distance to Taipei Rose Garden and Taipei Fine Art Musuem Great deal for a clean & quiet hotel. Will definitely stay again next time!

Un hotel dal prezzo decente, ma il servizio alla reception era scadente e poco professionale. Quando sono arrivato, non sono riusciti a trovare la mia prenotazione. Dopo averlo trovato, hanno insistito perché pagassi ancora una volta, anche se ero già online! Anche dopo aver prodotto le ricevute di pagamento adeguate, continuavano a non credermi. Questo non è un bel trattamento dei clienti! Ho chiesto un upgrade a una camera migliore e ho chiarito che sono felice di pagare la differenza. Non si sono nemmeno preoccupati di rispondermi! Al momento del check-out, li ho chiamati per chiedere aiuto con i bagagli perché ne avevo molti. Hanno detto ok. Nessuno è arrivato. Invece, la signora della reception mi ha chiamato e ha iniziato a gridarmi che dovevo lasciare la stanza! Quando ho provato a spiegare che non hanno mai inviato aiuto, lei non ha nemmeno voluto ascoltare!

Price-quality relation is a 10. You are in Taipei, look at prices and room size in other hotels or hostels. Maybe it is not the best of the best you have booked in your life, but to visit Taipei is an invincible option. You have a night market just in front of the hotel, stores everywhere, places to eat, subway station, and you can even walk to interesting areas such as Taipei 101 (like 5 km, not bad) or the Palace Museum. The staff is really nice, and they offer you free water, tea, candy, chips. I mean. . . This is good, for real. But, I have some tips if you are going to stay here: Tip1: as other guests have said, you can listen to the noise from other rooms and the building perfectly. So, if you have a light sleep, you should bring something to help you with this. Tip2: when you arrive, you will see a sign saying ”Me world Hotel”. That is your hostel, even if in Trip.com is called in a different way (I looked for it for like 10 minutes until I realised it was this). 3rd floor left. Tip 3: the bathtub is meh, so don't come with the fantasy of having a nice-hot bath (I came from a city with -3°, so I had this idea in mind since I landed).

Excellent location near many shops, eating places, grocery, Poya, McDonald, 7-11, Family Mart, 4 beauty shops and message parlors, pharmacy, Mos Burger, and a night market. Bus stop in front, MRT station 5 minutes walk. Friendly house keepers! Breakfast included. But could be better. Front Desk especially the English speaking friendly old men. So helpful! Always go out of his way to assist us. He is one of the reason our trip was memorable. The room is so clean and so big. The sleeping area is separated from the sitting area and the TV set, which added additional value to the experience. I love the furnitures, lovely! The beds are comfy and the air condition works wondetful! The bathroom is big with bathtub and amazing huge shower head! The toilet has a bidet! For shower, Just make sure to let the water run for 5 minutes for the it to get hot. I would stay again at Xinshe Hotel in my future trips to Taiwan. Actually, we extend our stay at Xinshe Hotel for another week. Provide daily free water, coffee, tea. and coco bags as well. Small refrigerator that we used for our drinks.
