Hotel in zona Jin Xing Gong Temple, Taipei

Room was much, much smaller than the pictures. I didn't understand how cleaning of room worked, if we needed to request it in advance? Also, self check in desk is not intuitive AT ALL. Especially if you do not speak Chinese. We couldn't make it without receptionist help. So what's the point of having self check in kiosks? Receptionist was very kind, but English not good enough for us to understand each other properly. Breakfast was below average. You need to go to a local cafeteria (external, although few minutes walking). Selection of items you can chose from is very very limited (like 4 or 5 sandwitches) that cannot cater for diet restritions of any sort. Also, service is excruciatingly slow.

La posizione è eccellente. Dopo la ristrutturazione, l'interno è completamente diverso dall'esterno e sembra migliore di alcuni hotel a quattro stelle. Tuttavia, l'odore è ancora un misto di fumo e odore di ventola di scarico di un hotel vecchio stile. Si suggerisce che l'hotel possa collocare la fragranza caratteristica utilizzata dagli hotel di nuovo stile in diverse posizioni in futuro per migliorare gradualmente l'odore.

perfect services, breakfast has limited choices but already good enough. location is good, 5 mins walk to underground and many restaurants or shops around the hotel. clean but the hotel itself is a bit out and aging.

I would have happily given the hotel 5 stars because the room and common areas were all clean. Linens were clean. Breakfast was okay if you’re into Chinese healthy food. I found the bed a little hard, though. I have stayed in similar price range hotels in Taipei with really comfy beds. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and I would still recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It's a typhoon day in Taiwan, all shops are closed, super windy that day. No choice but nowhere to go. Front desks are very accommodating, since last minute I did a room, and a lot of cancel room thats why I was able to get one, due to the said typhoon. Big room, huge beds, and a sort of mini dining table. Basically, it's so spacious. Corridors are big, and the design of the hallway overlooking the dining area is nice. But better with good signs of the room designation, if not, you might get lost. The hotel is very convenient with a convenient store beside it. MRT, Arena, shopping mall is just right the corner. Recommend for next stay. 我们在这里住了几晚。刚好入住时台风天，所有商店都关门了，那天风超大，别无选择，无处可去，住能留在饭店。 前台小姐非常热情，因为我临时多订了一间房，而且有很多人取消了房间，所以我才能订到，因为台风，不然爆满刚好当天‘’大明星开演唱会‘’’ 房间很大，床也很大，还有一张迷你餐桌。基本上，房间很宽敞。走廊很大，设计也很好，但美中稍有不足，最好走廊能有好的房间指示牌，不然你可能会迷路。 酒店非常方便，旁边有便利店。捷运、Arena、购物中心就在拐角处。 总言，饭店不错，值得再来住。

十分近西門町，永和豆漿、天天利、程味珍都在酒店附近，十分方便。已經是第二次入住了，現在可以自助入住好方便。房間大小可以接受，廁所使用免治馬桶十分滿意。

It’s a good location to find restaurants. The wall paper in the room needs repair. The room safe didn’t work so I asked staff at the front desk to fix it. I was told all safes in this hotel cannot be used due to the vivid. It’s so funny. I have been traveling in Asia since last February and it the first time that I was told the safe cannot be used due to the covid at a 4-star hotel in October 2023 in Taipei.

The hotel is situated in the central major cbd and very convenient, with many restaurants and department stores nearby. The design of the room is a little dated, but the room is modernized with power curtains, usb wall outlets, centralized light controls and power toilet. The amenities were well equipped. The rooms are very spacious. The health centre on the top floor is very nice. You can either be in the gym, using the spa or swimming while overlooking the view if Taipei. The staff are polite and helpful. I would certainly recommend the hotel anyone visiting Taipei.

Excellent location just a few minutes to the MRT station. Lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. One of the quietest hotels I’ve stayed at in Taipei with good soundproofing. An air purifier was provided without my asking, which was a very nice touch. Concierge staff were very polite and proactive but the reception staff have room for improvement. Some travelers have also mentioned the few stairs at the main entrance, which can be a bit inconvenient if your luggage is heavy. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and I would consider coming back for a second time.
