Le strutture erano tuttavia un po' limitate e comprensibili a causa delle loro regole ambientali, la pulizia era per lo più buona, ma ho notato alcuni problemi minori, come qualche bottiglia di lattina sotto il letto. We stayed for four nights at Ximen Hotel in Ximending. While the location is excellent—right in the heart of the bustling district with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport—the overall experience left much to be desired.
The hotel building is old, and while our room was designated non-smoking, it had a lingering cigarette smell, which was unpleasant. The amenities were basic and average at best, and the price, though reasonable, did not compensate for the issues we encountered.
One major concern was that my wife got bitten by bed bugs on our last night, which was extremely disappointing and concerning. Additionally, the soundproofing was poor—we could hear street noise and sounds from other rooms, making it difficult to relax.
Overall, while the location is undeniably convenient, the lack of cleanliness, comfort, and adequate soundproofing means we would not book this hotel again.

At checkin, room was smelling of rotten milk, and it was very cold (18 Celsius). I asked the front desk to change room, they said no, they don’t have any rooms available (there are maybe 100 rooms on my floor alone…) When I told them it’s too cold, they said I should turn off the AC. I said it’s off, they said it must not be, they “advise” me to check again. I checked 3 times, turned it on and off. The front then said they will give me an extra blanket… not once did anyone come to the room to check the smell or AC themselves. Also, they don’t have heating at all, so I had to warm the room with my body temperature only… ***.
At night the pipes make noises, and the smell never went away. They also charge to store your luggage.
Very disappointed by the hotel cleanliness and service. It was so unaccommodating. They told me it’s a basement room, so the smell is normal. ***…
Room has mirrors in the ceiling. I think it’s love hotel.

Perfetto luogo per soggiornare se sei un viaggiatore solo - la camera è piccola se sei in soggiorno con qualcun altro. L'hotel è vicino alla stazione principale di Taipei che ha una linea diretta MRT all'aeroporto. Il check-in della città è disponibile per le compagnie aeree ******, quindi è conveniente lasciare il bagaglio pesante lì e prendere il treno all’aeroporto.

Pros: location, hard mattress, bath towel, big bath tub.
Cons: need maintenance, air purifier dirty, air conditioning with heat functioning didn't work and it was 13 degrees Celsius, lighting system with glitches as one Led was flashing even when off and it came totally on at 3am without any input.
Also don't have any option like half day rate or early check in fee, had to pay 1 whole day to check in 5h earlier, as their check in time is 16h00. Paid 3000 TWD (92 USD) for the early check in with breakfast.

I would like to offer my compliments to your dedicated team for our very enjoyable stay in your hotel from 3-7 June 2024.
We stayed in rooms 1203 and 1205 and the reservation was made under Ms Erica Tan.
I had stayed in some 5 star hotels such as Shang Ri La Singapore, Westin Singapore, Ritz Carlton Singapore, Kempinski Xiamen to name a few but my stay in Doubletree by Hilton Taipei was one of the most comfortable and pleasant.
The check in by the warm and friendly reception staff was efficient and smooth.
When my daughter accidentally dropped one of the delicious welcome Hilton cookies on the floor, the reception staff quickly replaced it with a warm smile.
When my daughter teared after knowing that there isn’t a swimming pool in the premise, your reception staff, Tina, immediately walked up to us with a map and suggested that we can go to a nearby swimming pool facilities.
Tina also gave us some excellent food suggestions. We had a very satisfying and affordable meal at the Michelin recommended Ji Jia Zhuan ( 鸡家庄）, thanks to her recommendation :)
Whenever we return to the hotel from a day of sightseeing, the reception team on duty never failed to greet us in a warm and friendly manner. We felt genuinely welcomed:)
The modern Japandi style rooms and bathrooms are kept in an excellent condition and feel brand new. We especially like how bright, airy and spacious the rooms are.
Kudos to the housekeepers ( Ms Cai Xiu Hui 蔡秀慧阿姨) on level 12 who kept our rooms 1203 and 1205 so clean and comfortable. They always chat amicably with us and confirmed with us if we need any housekeeping service.
The TV entertainment system with its 47 channels ( including TLC, Discovery) , Netflix, YouTube and IQiYi really impressed us.
The semi buffet style daily breakfast sets
( Chinese, Japanese and Western) are healthy and delish and we really looked forward to breakfast every morning.
We hope that Chinese baos （包子）and dim sum pastry such as you tiao ( 油条、蛋饼）can also be offered in future when we next pay a visit to your hotel :)
We would also like to thank your reception staff and housekeepers who helped my mom who stayed in room 1205 on 6 June when the toilet encountered some flushing issues.
My mom had approached the reception staff at around 4 pm on 6 June and the very helpful male reception staff accompanied her to her room and helped remediate the problem along with the housekeeper. She was very impressed by how efficient and friendly your staff were.
All in all, your team has done a great job in our stay. Their service attitude are genuine and warm :) My daughter enjoyed her stay so
much that she kept remarking she would like to extend our stay to 2 more weeks:)

MMui HuangI stayed at **Just Sleep Hotel Ximending** with my family from December 10th to 15th, and while it had its positives, there were a few aspects that would make me hesitate to stay here again. Here's a breakdown of our experience:
#### Location:
The location is definitely a highlight. The hotel is in the heart of **Ximending**, just a short walk from Ximending MRT station, making it convenient for exploring the area. You’re surrounded by shops, restaurants, and entertainment, so it's ideal if you want to be in the middle of the action.
#### Room:
We stayed in the **Superior Family Room**, which was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The room had a modern design, with comfortable beds, a TV, a mini-fridge, and a desk. The bathroom was a bit tight, but it worked well for our needs. The shower had good water pressure, and everything was clean and in good condition.
#### Service:
The service was friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk were always ready to assist with recommendations for local attractions and were prompt in fulfilling our requests for extra towels and pillows.
#### Amenities:
The **breakfast** was okay, but not impressive. The buffet had a basic selection of both Western and ********* breakfast items, but it became repetitive, and the quality could have been better. It was just enough to get by, but nothing memorable.
One issue that affected our stay was the **noise in the lobby at night**. It often felt like a social hangout spot, with a large group of people drinking beer and playing games. It wasn't always clear if all of them were hotel guests, and the noise was quite disruptive, especially for anyone trying to relax or sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, this might be a problem, as the lobby area gets pretty lively late into the night.
#### Overall Experience:
While **Just Sleep Hotel Ximending** offers great value for its central location and the rooms are generally comfortable, the noise from the lobby and the underwhelming breakfast left a bit of a negative impression. Based on this experience, **I probably wouldn't stay here again**. I would likely choose a hotel that's even closer to Ximending, with quieter surroundings and a better breakfast.
Would I recommend it? If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Ximending and don't mind some noise in the evenings, it could work for you. But for a more peaceful stay, I’d recommend looking at other options.

良良人家L'hotel era molto pieno il giorno in cui siamo arrivati, ma come membri di Marriott siamo stati ancora in grado di ottenere il controllo in anticipo. Il personale è stato per lo più utile e molto gentile. Il colazione Buffet dell'hotel è stato un po' prezioso per il nostro bilancio. La posizione è buona con il centro commerciale Miramar vicino, ma non si apre fino alle 11:00. Quindi abbiamo avuto ”Colazione” al 7-11. La stazione metropolitana Jiannan (南路) è a 8 min (0.4 mi) a piedi. Vicino all'aeroporto di Songshan per voli locali.

UUtente ospiteHotel was recommended by an acquaintance. Location was very good with easy access to MRT Beimen station and Taipei main station on walking distance. Check-in went very smoothly but the hallway was too dark so it was difficult to find/read my room number! Except that the room was good with sufficient space and nice bed/bath and most importantly, no noise could be heard from other rooms. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but no complaints either.

KKathy YLCL'hotel è vicino ai grandi magazzini Shin Kong Mitsukoshi e a Nanyang Street, il trasporto è comodo ed è molto comodo trovare cibo. Le attrazioni circostanti sono il 228 Peace Park, l'edificio principale del Museo Nazionale di Taiwan e il Museo di Paleontologia. Il personale di servizio è gentile e cortese e in camera vengono forniti semplici articoli da toeletta. L'unico inconveniente è che l'odore di muffa è un po' forte. Se avete una stanza vicino alla finestra, potete aprirla per un po'. Nel complesso, è un buon posto.

MManSono rimasto per 3 notti. Ho avuto un controllo tardivo e mi è stato assegnato una stanza all'angolo girante di entrare nel corridoio. Ho sentito passi quando le persone camminavano, a notte e tardi. Non potevo dormire bene attraverso le notti 2/3. Sarebbe bello se la stanza potesse avere pochi ancoraggi. UUtente ospitePros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature.
Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

KKateRoom is small with outdated furnitures and has some old building smells.
Overall the room is clean. Service from the front desk lady was not very friendly. No heater and felt cold in the room during the winter.
