I recently stayed at the Tainan Wei-Yat Grand Hotel and found it to be incredibly clean, with well-maintained rooms and excellent amenities that made my stay comfortable. However, the location is a bit inconvenient. The nearest bus stop is an 8-minute walk away, with a limited timetable, making it challenging if you're coming from Tainan Station. Additionally, while the breakfast offered a variety of options, I found the food selection less delicious than advertised. I think their check in and check out time is very short. They start to check in at 3 pm and check out before 10 am. Overall, it's a great hotel if you're prepared for a bit of a commute and don't mind a simple breakfast.

I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant.
First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge.
Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned.
Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef.
I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel

We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy.
The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours!
The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

進入飯店的感覺就像看到一樣的感覺就是乾淨明亮，
櫃台人員蠻親切的，旁邊也有全聯很方便！
周遭他們有準備停車位，也不用怕沒位置停！
房間內很乾淨，電視只有第四台不能看YouTube ，有冰箱，充電位置很足，床也軟硬適中，我們習慣睡高，有多要兩個枕頭（配備原本只有兩個），冷氣也夠冷！
冰箱有礦泉水，也茶包除了一般的茶包，還會給濾掛咖啡，還不錯
浴室稍微小，備品都給兩份，誠意已經很夠，全部是用ToTo系列的衛浴設備，也有免治馬桶跟泡澡的地方，唯獨要注意的是因為浴缸跟外面磁磚落差較大，因為沒有貼防滑，建議大家洗完出來要抓好站好，不然容易滑倒！
早餐是現煮的虱目魚粥，因為我們住兩晚，怕我們連兩天吃一樣會膩，他們也很親切詢問是否需要第二天準備其他早餐，也會因為發現我們吃的較少，調整不同配菜跟粥的量，超感謝👍🏼

PPolly TamThe hotel service is exceptionally pleasant. All staff members are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, within walking distance to the Tainan metro. Nearby, there are shopping malls and restaurants. I have sampled all the hotel restaurants, and the flavors are fantastic. It is the top hotel choice for booking in Tainan.

YYeungIt is my third or fourth time staying in this hotel. The room is very spacious and comfortable. This is the tallest building in town and should be the most luxurious hotel there. It is right next to the Tainan Rail Station and is super convenient. Staff service is great. There aren’t much changes since I last stayed here in 2014. Nonetheless it is a place worth staying in Tainan.

UUtente ospiteGreat location and interesting old house. It was as shown in the pictures. The host is very friendly and recommended a few places to go and explained the house. He could have given more detailed instructions on the car park, which is closeby but you need to park in the area 62 to be closeby to the house. It’s a long car park so it’s seems far from where you go in but it’ll work out! The car park right next to the house is very expensive.
The house faces towards the car park and the street to the motorcycles are a bit noisy.
Water and cups are provided by the hotel.
Trip.com didn’t tell the owner my email or phone number so he couldn’t contact me and there was no one for checkin. We called him and he came quickly, just would be nicer for everyone if he had those details. Otherwise I recommend proactively contacting him.

the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size
the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out..
i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too
location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene
oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate

IImelda PurnomoNice resort with private in-room hot spring tubs. Location of room is not conducive for elderlies and if you have liggages. We have to lug our luggages from the reception lobby to the room which is located in another building and part of the resort and it's with stairs up and down. Luckily we met a nice lady staff who helped carry some of our luggages. Then when we almost reached our room, a guy manning the spa entrance told us we can call hotel lobby and arrange for staff to carry our luggages. The checked-in staff who guided us should have told us earlier and offered staff to carry our luggages since we had conveyed our difficulties to her.

The room was what you would expect for a hotel in this price range, and it included an electric kettle and some free tea and coffee. The beds and temperature were comfortable, and the room was clean and in good condition, featuring good lighting in general and very good reading lights for night reading. The exercise room was limited to a few stationary bikes and treadmills with no other workout facilities, but it was easy to access and had a nice, big window. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of well-prepared food, plenty of seating (indoors and outdoors), and nice decor. We ate there three times and were always pleased with the food and service. There are plenty of restaurants, banks, and stores near the hotel, and it's about a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station. We highly recommend this place.

MMichelle ElziraWe cannot stop our praises for this hotel! We intended to just stay the night and explore a little of Tainan before heading to Kaoshiung. The friendly staff engaged us in conversation and shared so passionately about Tainan that we decided to stay an extra day/night in Tainan. They even planned our itinerary for us. We are thankful for the value-added service of helping us warm up our food (we bought food as our stomachs had limited capacity) in the mornings/nights. We got the double room with no window but hardly felt suffocated as the room was spacious, spotless and sooo comfortable. The carpark was a short 3min walk away. We enjoyed the facilities, but what caught our hearts was the heartwarming service from the staff. We do not have the habit of asking to take a photo with hotel staff, but for this hotel, we asked to as we wanted to remember the wonderful experience we had here.
