Hotel in zona Sqoyaw Village, Taichung

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip. Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊

Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Convenient location, with Nike and other outlet shops, different types of food along the street. However, hotel is a little bit old and old style if you don’t mind, you can hear the air con, pipes or the sound of the next room at night, so if you are “lucky” to get one of these rooms, try to ask for another one. Be aware not to open the window, there’s mosquitoes to annoy you whole night. Remember to get mosquito repellent at the convenient store nearby. Breakfast include vegetarian selection with buffet style, eat all you want. **********************************************************

Servizio al suo top! Se non conta la vista è completamente bloccata, è grande per un breve o lungo periodo, buona posizione, solo 5 minuti a piedi da SOGO, Park Lane o Museo Nazionale di Scienze Naturali. E' difficile essere in un cattivo umore circostante da tutti questi.

Visiteremo Alishan, lago di sole-moon, quindi fermatevi a Taichung e troviamo questo è un bel hotel e una bella camera e strutture sono ben attrezzate , ci piace il pranzo alberghiare al caffè che fornisce un po 'di cibo asiatico + cibo americano anche. E'un peccato che ci sia solo una notte, il prossimo viaggio, io pianificarei di tornare qui per qualche giorno di soggiorno per esplorare Taitung.

Location is quite a distance from the city centre. Need to walk 10-15min to find local shops and eateries. Just across the hotel got a good-size supermarket. Bought local fruits for breakfast. No malls, night markets or shopping areas nearby. Room is spacious but rather old that needs upgrading. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but selection rather limited. No yogurt and limited selection of fruits. Overall a reasonable good stay.

Location was good, walking distance to 逢甲夜市。Along the streets many eateries and convenience stores just beside. Chanced upon a 5 star review beef noodle with boss who is very proud of his food. Had a separat review done for him on goggle. See photo for his shop name. 😄

Il servizio e le strutture sono buoni. Vicino al mercato notturno di Fengjia, comodo per lo shopping. Lo stile dei pasti a buffet soddisfa le mie esigenze. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta.

Localizzazione: vicino alla stazione ferroviaria che era super conveniente per noi. era a 5 minuti a piedi. Mart familiare proprio accanto all'hotel è anche un bonus! Camera: spaziosa e pulita. la nostra camera aveva un bagno! in basso - punti di potenza molto limitati disponibili. deve portare l'adattatore di viaggio. Lavanderia: il lavanderia gratuita è stato super utile per il nostro viaggio, anche se è di servizio personale. Lavanderia è sul piano terra, che non è accessibile dal ascensore principale e richiede scale di salita. in grado di acquistare polvere di lavanderia per 30TWD dal contatore, La sala lavanderia ha 2 lavastoviglie e 2 asciugamani, ci ha portato circa 1.5h-2h a completare insieme i cicli di lavaggio e di asciugatura.

Room is exactly like picture, the staffs were friendly and fluent in English, very accommodating. The hotel is near Feng Chia Night market, a bit far from some famous tourist spots but buses were convenient so not a big problem. Breakfast was great. Hotel is quite new and modern.
