La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, a cinque minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Accanto c'è il centro commerciale New World. All'incrocio c'è la linea 7-11. L'attrezzatura dell'hotel è relativamente vecchia, la stanza ha un'illuminazione soffusa e il bagno è relativamente luminoso. La tenda della doccia nella doccia sembra essere larga solo 2/3, quindi prestare attenzione alla direzione del soffione quando si fa la doccia. , altrimenti l'acqua potrebbe fuoriuscire nel lavandino o nel WC. L'asciugacapelli si trova sulla parete accanto allo specchio nella stanza. È di tipo fisso, molto rumoroso e con poco vento. Le persone con capelli lunghi o folti potrebbero voler portare il proprio asciugacapelli😅 Inoltre l'isolamento acustico dell'hotel non è buono, non importa se il suono è più forte, che sia nella porta accanto, nel corridoio o nella stanza di fronte, lo sentirai. Se sei preoccupato, pensaci due volte o porta il tuo propri tappi per le orecchie. L'atteggiamento del personale dell'hotel è molto buono. Nella stanza c'è anche un distributore d'acqua. Spero che tutti partecipino alla protezione dell'ambiente.

Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip. Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊

Not a big hotel but I was definitely fine with that. It is close to a shopping mall and a park. Few convenience stores nearby and the staff were helpful.

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel due to its proximity to Fengjia Night Market. Room is clean, but maintenance of the room can be improved. Room aircon temperature cannot be adjusted. Window view is disappointing as you can only see the wall of the other building. Hotel staff are polite and their service is pretty SOP. Breakfast selection is decent and food quality is pretty good.

Beautiful lobby. Breakfast buffet is nice but get there early ; although it closes at 10 am (they start hustling people out of dining area around that time), they start removing the labels at like 9:30 ish so if you don’t know what you are eating then you won’t. But the breakfast buffet is huge and nice so if it is included in your hotel stay it’s a nice perk. Service is a little rushed . But hey just have the timing off a little bit and not always the most welcoming .
