We stayed for 5 nights as a family of four there were some ups and downs Advantages : big pool, suitable for children A Private beach which I found fantastic The pool area is very nice with a lot of greenery and views over the beach and the mountain The Hotel staff is very polite and hard working The food tastes good i appreciated it although I couldn’t eat much because of the crowds. Disadvantages For the price we payed and for a 4 star hotel The reception area is always crowded and disorganized also very very old , Kind of depressing really The restaurant is more than disorganized I can’t believe how people can function in such conditions Very very crowded and also very old tables and not so clean plates or covers if you can find them. No wifi available in bedrooms only the reception and barbecue area. The signal also is very bad. Overall I would give it at most 3 stars I thing it deserves to be rated as a 3 stars hotel not 4 not 5 The only solution is to renovate as soon as possible and to change the restauration policy in order to make it more organized and enjoyable

Situata nel nord-ovest della Tunisia, Tabarka era originariamente un antico porto di pescatori ed è ora diventata una nuova attrazione turistica. Il Festival del Corallo Rosso a luglio e agosto attira ogni anno innumerevoli turisti stranieri. Le colline a sud-ovest sono ondulate, con sughero (l'esportazione di sughero è diventata una fonte di reddito per i residenti locali) e querce. Ci sono molti animali e piante nella foresta, che è l'ideale per la caccia e la raccolta dei funghi. La limpida sorgente in montagna contiene una varietà di oligoelementi, che possono curare malattie come infezioni del tratto respiratorio superiore e bronchite. La storia di Tabaka è ricca e variegata, con dominazione fenicia, romana, araba e ottomana. L'attrazione principale di Tabarka è il Forte Genovese, che si trova su un'isola poco distante dal centro della città. La fortezza risale alla metà del XVI secolo, quando Tabaka era governata dai Genovesi. Lo stile principale era genovese, ma conteneva anche alcune fortificazioni costruite dagli ottomani.
