The location of the hotel is very convenient. I love the warming welcome of hotel staffs. Even thought the hotel is not new, but the cleanliness level was good. I have trouble sleeping and the bed was clean. There are constructions nearby, but there was no disturbance.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Location drew me to Establishment, situated near some of my favourite restaurants in Sydney and close to the venue where I was doing business. Establishment delivers for location. I also chose Establishment for a little bit of luxury to break a heavy work schedule and it did not live up to expectation. It seems to be a great party crash hotel for the bucks/hens night with few services that really speak to the time poor luxury business traveller. It’s beautifully styled with a comfortable bed, but that is about the limit. It’s the services and the quality of the room features that let it down. No 24 hour room service and a menu that is not reflective of the quality of the food precinct it’s situated in. (I went out to get an excellent take away breakfast that I brought back to my room rather than order anything from the scant breakfast menu that looked like a take away menu). I left my computer power charger at home, but concierge could not help me with one to borrow or ideas on where I could buy a replacement. The bath is very narrow and not much hot water - I boiled the kettle to get it a bit warmer. Hunter products in the bathroom but there was no hair conditioner and few of the little luxuries that you would expect in such a stylish bathroom such as extra towels, make up mirrors/lighting, an extra soap for the bath. The room fittings are pretty tired and scuffed up. It’s certainly ready for a bit of a renovation/ refresh. The carpet looks like it’s seem some amazing parties. The room, particularly the bathroom, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite it being a non smoking hotel. The bathroom shower curtain was really dirty and needs to be replaced. Lots of marks on the walls and scuff marks on furniture - looks tired and a bit worn out. There is no dedicated space to work for business travellers, other than a long table near the window but I had to sit on the bed. Inside the lift the small seating looks like it had seen some parties as well and not clean enough to sit on. No hand sanitiser anywhere. This was the most expensive room rate for the CBD area I wanted to be in, and the result was disappointing. As a lover of boutique hotels, I was looking forward to staying here, but based on this experience I won’t return and can’t recommend this one.

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ho organizzato un gruppo di 74 anni di età, una riunione 50 anni dopo il diploma di medicina. Tutti erano così felici. Il GM Klaus era molto aziendale nel organizzare un 'diner' gala per noi in una stanza separata. Il personale del desk è cortese e utile. Le camere erano piccole - ma molto elegantemente progettate. L'illuminazione sottile e piacevole. Le letti comodi. Raccomando questo hotel a chiunque. Grazie.

Questo è il posto dove si desidera essere a Sydney Harbor. Questo è un fantastico hotel con camere che guardano il porto o il parco con la Casa Opera a distanza. L'ingresso è piuttosto non descritto ma funzionale. Il check-in era veloce e facile (anche se la chiave non funzionava perché le batterie nel serratura erano morte, era rapidamente riparata). La camera aveva un alloggio, cucina e lavanderia, zona da pranzo, camera da letto e bagno, più un balcone spazioso. La AC funzionava bene. Era grande avere lavanderia disponibile dopo aver avuto 3 settimane sulla strada. Il colazione era a un livello inferiore in una zona circondata dal pavimento fino a un tetto di vetro con vista al porto. L'uscita era un po' più complicata perché volevamo rimborsare alcuni punti aggiuntivi di Accor, ma la persona in carica non sapeva come farlo. C'era anche la confusione aggiuntiva del AU$400 che era stato caricato sulla nostra carta di credito al check-in invece di essere riservato sulla nostra carta. Ha promesso che sarebbe stato risolto quando la persona giusta è arrivata in servizio quella sera. Come promesso, ci siamo contattati per telefono e email più tardi quel giorno e tutto è stato risolto. Questo è un fantastico hotel dove ci piacerebbe stare ancora una volta a Sydney.

Quando ci è stato detto che avevamo un aggiornamento che sperava di fare come membro d'oro, siamo entrati nella stanza con una vista sorprendente, ma è stato l'unico positivo che la stanza è stata svuotata, tagliata, Il prezzo che abbiamo pagato è stato molto basso e poco elevato, ben al di sopra di un patio che era in costruzione, ma molto basso e non abbastanza buono. Sono andato alla reception per esprimere la mia dispiacere, ma mi è stato detto che erano completamente prenotati e non potevano essere fatto nulla, quindi ho suggerito che mi davano un gradimento alla sala premio che ho prenotato inizialmente, che hanno fatto reluttantemente come sembrava un inconveniente. La stanza era più bella, come era stata recentemente rinnovata, nuovo bagno, lavoro di pittura, nuovi mobili. Il bagno non era stato fatto e mostrava età con la grotta craccata, lavastoviglie e bagno chiuso, e lavatrice poteva essere di vent’anni ma aveva fatto il lavoro. La stanza era in un piano inferiore, guardando la strada verso il ponte del porto, e avevamo incluso il colazione, che era molto buono, anche se riuscivano a riempire il nostro ordine ogni mattina dimenticando le parti del piatto. La piscina era grande, la temperatura e la vista fantastica i nostri bambini amavano. La posizione era buona, ma le colline e le passi un po' annoiate con un prato. In generale questo posto non è niente di speciale che ho prenotato come membro di accor ma probabilmente non tornerà perché ci sono migliori opzioni e valore disponibili altrove.

The good thing about this hotel is the location - the light rail is outside the building on George St. Wynyard train station is also very close by. Woolworths Metro is across George street but is not open on the weekends. A Coles Express is above the Wynyard station and is open on the weekends. I booked an executive studio apartment based on the description of being newly refurbished. The apartment was large - 38sq m and I liked the bedroom being separated from the kitchen and lounge (down 2 steps). This apartment is looking tired, especially in the bathroom and needs maintenance. The entrance door showed signs of water damage as did the bathroom and the cupboard in the bedroom. When I enquired when the apartment was refurbished I was told 2019 - not so newly refurbished. One of the lights in the bedroom did not work and the USB ports in the kitchen area didn't work. The kitchen sink plug was missing but was replaced satisfactorily on the second attempt. The balcony was closed - no access which I'm guessing was due to the cladding on the outside of the building needing to be replaced due to a fire hazard. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. Housekeeping is upon request only. The washing machine and dryer worked fine however a drying rack would have been useful.

Che sollievo quando ho controllato il Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney! Aveva un totale disaccoppiamento dal porto di Sydney Marriott a due isolati. Marriott è 3-star fingendo di essere un 5-star. Radisson è un 5-star presentando come un 5-star. Radisson è a miglia da ogni aspetto rispetto al Marriott, le camere sono molto meglio, più moderne e più moderne, e il colazione è molto meglio! Bagno con tubo è una gioia rispetto al Marriott che non hanno nemmeno una porta che separa la doccia.

Situato a The Rocks, passeggiando a piedi fino al Quartiere circolare. Devi essere un caprino di montagna per camminare qui, soprattutto con bagagli. Una volta uscito, esplora la bella zona di Rocks. Ho preso il treno fino al Quartiere circolare, dove si trova la Casa Opera e il ponte di porto. Poi si sono saliti molte, molte scale per arrivare qui. Bene. Molto moderno, anche se è costruito su un sito archeologico di parte della vecchia zona Rocks. Bellamente fatto e conservato. La camera era molto moderna e pulita, anche se costosa per una camera doppia insuite. Ma non mi importava di pagare per la posizione e la pulizia. Bagno moderno e pulito. Lockers disponibili per il noleggio a lungo termine. Non posso valutare abbastanza Il tetto di questo ostello!!? Absolutamente second a non. Perfetta vista della casa dell'opera, ponte e porto
