Abbiamo avuto una buona notte in hotel. Ha una buona posizione. L'hotel è pulito e offre caffè e alcuni dolci nel lobby (complimentare). Il personale è stato amichevole e utile. Se non chiedi ogni giorno di pulizia puoi anche scegliere una bevanda dolce gratuita nel bar o punto extra sul tuo account Accor che è molto verde positivo.

To my opinion, this is not a four star hotel. The hotel is big, however, aged, and in certain areas in need of modernization. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, however, on picture, it provides a bigger impression than the actual size which is quite small . Hotel reception staff are nice and friendly The room is very small, the bed is comfortable. There is a small fridge. The biggest appointment is the bathroom area, which is very old and in need of modernization. For the price paid, it was an unsatisfactory stay

Abbiamo appena soggiornato 6 notti in questo hotel. E 'perfettamente situato per un soggiorno a Essen City, a pochi passi dalla stazione centrale. Grandi camere, convenientemente progettate con un sacco di spazio. Colazione a buffet offre un colazione complimentare. Per un drink è necessario visitare il “sister hotel” Moxy vicino alla porta. Il personale è estremamente utile e amichevole, Speciale grido a Khaled e Kofi! Ci siamo divertiti il nostro soggiorno.

UUtente ospiteIch bin eine gebürtige Essenerin und kenne deshalb das Hotel schon ewig. Die Lage ist zentral, gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof und mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind je nach Kategorie geräumig. Ich finde es toll, das man die Fenster öffnen kann. Auch die Betten sind bequem. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis, dort gibt es allerdings Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem 100% Empfehlung

TTEDDY100770Situato in zona centrale fronte strada molto trafficata. Dotato di comodo parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento. Hall moderna e abbastanza spaziosa con procedura di check-in e check-out veloci. Camere doppie abbastanza ampie anche se con i segni del tempo. Bagno sufficiente con doccia ampia. Camere ben insonorizzate anche sul lato strada. Colazione inclusa molto valida con ampia varietà di dolce e salato e con prodotti di qualità. Buona soluzione business

UUtente ospiteHad a great stay in Moxy Essen from 11/06/2023 – 14/06/2023. I was travelling around the Rhine Ruhr region with my friend (and we both have Marriott Gold elite status from staying in a Marriott for university). This hotel was in a great location right next to the HBF station in Essen and was clean and modern. The bar had a good vibe and we had free drinks on arrival. We used points for this stay, and the way that the points worked out meant that we had 2 different bookings over 3 nights, but this was not an issue and we managed to get the same room for the duration of our stay (we even got a bonus welcome drink for it)! I’m probably not going to do the hotel justice here, but it was a well laid out and stylish hotel with decent sized rooms. We had a twin room to share and the staff made extra effort so that we were on the quieter side of the building. We initially checked into the hotel at approximately 2pm, but decided to spend the afternoon in Wuppertal. When we arrived back on the first night. I had a shower, and there was no shampoo. No big deal, but I ended up going down to reception to ask for some. The man couldn’t find any shampoo, but about half an hour later, some appeared, I think he probably brought I from the shop as it wasn’t in the normal bright pink Moxy bottle, but it was really nice of him to make the effort. That day, the weather hit 32 degrees and whilst we were waiting for the shampoo, we tried to work out how the air conditioning worked. Between me and my friend that I was travelling with, we couldn’t work it out, so we asked the employee. However, between the 3 of us and Google we could not work it out. Anyway, I think we were the only people in the hotel that night as this was approximately midnight local time, and I think we went in every room in the corridor. To try and find one with working air con. All of them were empty! We eventually found one that wasn’t like a sauna and packed our stuff and moved. The employee was genuinely the nicest and most helpful employee I think I have ever seen in a hotel, very apologetic, but also very sociable. It was really nice to meet him as he was so happy to help. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he had a ponytail I think and said he was Turkish. I think he will know who we are when he reads this! I saw him off duty in the bar the next night and thanked him. We even got 2 free breakfasts out of this!! The breakfast was good, though probably not worth the price we were told when we booked (I think it was about 15 euros but can’t remember as I have stayed in about 5 hotels in the past week and they have all rolled into one a bit). There was a few cooked items (Bacon & Scrambled Egg) and a few cold/ cereal items, but not loads. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast as all the Moxys allow a free coffee/ juice in the morning and a pastry, which is a nice touch. MmichaelDie Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet auch mal etwas weg vom typischen Zimmer. Mein Zimmer hatte separate WC und Dusche, sehr angenehm. kleines Manco , ein vergessener Gegendstand 4 Stunden nach dem CA, war angeblich nicht im Zimmer auffindbar, was schade ist. So klein war er nicht. Betten auch sehr bequem, alles in allem sehrvgutes Hotel.

UUtente ospiteHo soggiornato solo una notte a 'Hotel Franz' a Essen quando ho visitato la città in affari. Hotel Franz ha segnato tutte le caselle che avevo bisogno ... La posizione è stata buona per il mio cliente e anche l'autostrada. Il centro di Wi-Fi è stato molto pulito e confortevole, c'è stato un parcheggio gratuito in loco, WiFi e ricevimento 24 ore su 24. Ho avuto una camera doppia non fumatori (camera 203) che era moderno e fresco. Il costo era di 80 € per la notte senza colazione. L'hotel ha controllato il mio status di vaccinazione Covid e il gel di mano era disponibile liberamente e doveva essere indossato maschere nelle aree pubbliche dell'hotel.

I stayed here for a month whilst working in Essen. Receptionist friendly helpful and spoke excellent English. I was upgraded to an executive room, which was dated but clean and spacious and included a fridge. I was thankful for the air conditioning as the weather was hot at the time of my stay but would have preferred a sheet instead of the thick quilt. Breakfast was the standard offering but a rip off at €21 - you get a far better and cheaper breakfast at similar hotels. There’s a bar and an evening menu but this wasn’t always open however when it was the barman was great to have a chat with and get some local knowledge. There’s power sockets by the bedsides and WiFi was good. Location is good being just a 5 min walk to the underwhelming and disappointing city centre. It’s also only a 5 min walk to the metro which offers great value and for a fee of €9, gets you anywhere, although this was during a summer promotion. As a resident you get access to a gym across the road. The house keeping was at times quite poor with surfaces not wiped down. Overall a convenient place to stay but in need of modernisation which I think is a possibility in the future.

Wow. What a trip that was to the Essen Spiel convention. And what an excellent hotel we have had the luck of booking a room into. Everything was top notch. We were given a room on the second floor, right across the elevator, in room 226. That was indeed super convenient, since for soundproofing, the windows were always shut, and I'm a smoker, so it made my outside trip to the smoking area easy. Everything in the room was where it should be. Plenty of sockets to plug our electronics in, a desk to put our convention stuff on and make our plans for the following day. Water pressure was spot on in the shower, all-in-one soap was naturally provided in a dispenser and filled daily. Room cleaning was done super meticulously in the morning and the cleaning people were nice and attentive when we happened to stumble upon them. All the staff we ran across were super nice and kind, even though we were always bugging them with annoying and trivial matters. The evening shift at the bar and reception really tried their best to satisfy our bothering demands. Hats off to them for putting up with us. I feel that we may have indeed tested their patience's limits. Despite all our best - or worst - but unintended in honesty - efforts to piss them off, they didn't even lose their smile. Great job, everyone! The cherry on top was the hotel's decision to open up a big room full of tables and chairs for the Spiel attendees to pass the night once the exhibition day was over. Really thoughtful and it's one of those small details that win people over. I'm looking forward to returning to the convention next year, and I'm sure I will be booking a room in this hotel alongside my plane and convention tickets. Keep it up, GHOTEL!

JJingxuanziQuesto prezzo è molto economico in tutta Europa. La stanza è molto pulita, anche se vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, ma è molto pulita vicino.L'atteggiamento del piccolo fratello della reception dell'hotel è molto buono.Ma lo spazio della stanza non è troppo grande, il bagno è molto piccolo.
