Quando siamo arrivati ​​in hotel alle 15:00, la guardia di sicurezza ha detto che i posti auto erano stretti e che non potevamo parcheggiare.Ci hanno chiesto di uscire e cercare un parcheggio vicino e di tornare dopo le 21:00.In questo periodo avremmo non essere rimborsato per le spese di parcheggio in altri posti.L'esperienza è stata pessima. Inoltre la stanza è relativamente vecchia, non ha ventilazione e l'aria condizionata è soffocante e calda. Il bambino sudava dappertutto quando andava a dormire la notte e aveva il raffreddore quando usciva. Anche il prezzo della stessa tipologia di camera nell'hotel varia molto: si dice che esista un paradiso per genitori e figli, ma in realtà non esiste un posto del genere. Dopotutto, sicuramente non tornerò più. Se hai una suite e i soldi sono disponibili, perché non stare all'Indigo dall'altra parte della strada? Chiedi ad altri amici di evitare i fulmini.

È davvero uno spreco della promozione di Shangri-La Group e la gestione è un disastro! Durante il soggiorno, c'era un ricevimento per conferenze nell'hotel, che era caotico. 1. Il tempo di attesa per il check-in alla reception è molto lungo, ci sono tre banchi per il check-in, e quando ci sono già due o tre persone in attesa dietro ognuno, non ci sono più persone a riempire la reception . 2. Non ci sono restrizioni sulla riunione dei veicoli per la riunione di ricevimento, il che ha causato il riempimento del garage e i veicoli degli ospiti sono stati bloccati sulla strada fino all'arrivo della polizia e hanno aspettato più di mezz'ora sulla strada. Anche la sicurezza dell'hotel è uscita per coordinarsi e si è fermata al cancello. La hall dell'hotel a cinque stelle è buia e buia e in realtà non è collegata a Shangri-La.

The overall services are excellent. Peter (Concierge) is a very nice guy and helpfull. Also appreciate very much the friendly approach from David (Duty Manager) and Alan (Concierge). The birthday treats from hotel really make up my day😊

The third stay for me in this hotel. I keep coming back because everything works very well here. The staff is friendly and professional. Location is great, there is a big shopping mall across the street and metro lines 3 and 1 are also nearby. I liked the large breakfast buffet, especially the noodle station. The room was maybe a bit old but large and quiet. Excellent price/quality.

The most incredible service to date in 20years of China hotel stays. Extremely friendly staff, great English and attention to detail. 10/5 stars for service. Breakfast buffet also good. The only very small issue was the rooms didn’t have plugs on side of bed to charge phone. Lovely hotel, amazing service and highly recommended to others. To management just would politely suggest to and plugs on each side of bed so can charge phones, it’s not 1995 anymore and everyone has devices to charge.

The front office team are doing a good job especially a lady wearing spec that can speak English, mandarin, cantonese. Honestly Shang made me feel disappointed, as no upgrade in the room. For me Shang group is one of the best hotel in the world, unfortunately I feel that Shang is like a fallen empire now.

Good location with a nice and modern shopping mall just a traffic light away. Checkin staff did not seem to be very well trained, however polite. Added breakfast for one day but only registered 1 guest despite 2 guests stayed in the room. When we asked advise at concierge if there was any shops selling photography items, reply was “ sorry I’m not local”… Would like to express our gratitude to concierge staff Peter Zhang and room attendant Li Lingyu. Peter always has a genuine smile on his face and helped with our parcel delivery reached destination smoothly. Ms Li is kind and considerate, noted we like to drink coffee, made effort to place a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Lastly, we’d like to appreciate hotel management for making my husband’s birthday even more special by presenting a cake and a card in the room. Would consider to stay again if we go back to Suzhou.

Conveniently located in the city downtown area, it offers almost everything you need as a tourist, sight seeing, shopping and city walk although it is not so near to the gardens which Suzhou is renowned for. The staff are friendly and available to help whenever we needed something. The hotel meets the expectations of Shangri-La in almost all spectrums even though some of the amenities look a bit tired and aged, but the lobby still stands quite grand. Overall, the hotel is value for money.

We stayed there for one night with our two children. The room was lovely and all the staff were very friendly. Horizon Lounge was nice and spacious, although food and beverage choices were slightly limited. Right next to a huge shopping mall and a short taxi away from some famous tourist attractions such as Hanshan Temple. Overall a lovely stay.

Unfortunately forgot to take a few photos, however the shower is full of visible mold , more over totally cleanable!!! Take a brush and some vinegar and it will be gone!!! This shower hasnt been properly cleaned in forever… disgusting and disappointing for a Shangrila Property

Great location, easy check in, and very nice views of the city from the cafe on the 48th floor. Good gym and pool facilities as well and very comfortable rooms.

Overall a great hotel, rooms were dated but they were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Not a great location if this was your first time to Suzhou as the places of interest were all about a 20 minutes taxi ride away. There is a mall just minutes away from the hotel with many options for food.
