เกือบสมบูรณ์แบบ เราจองไปสองครั้ง วันที่ 17-19 เป็นห้อง Superior และ 19-20 เป็นห้อง Suite เพราะ Superior เต็ม เมื่อไปถึงวันที่ 17 เพราะเราไม่อยากย้ายห้อง จึงขอ upgrade เป็น Suite พนักงานจะคิดเราเพิ่มอีกคืนละ 5,000 บาท!!! โดยบอกว่าเป็นราคา walk in ของห้อง suite หักด้วยราคาห้อง superior ที่จองจาก internet เราก็เลยเลือกย้ายห้องดีกว่า แต่สำหรับทางโรงแรมแล้ว อาจจะเป็นการดีกว่าหากคิดส่วนต่างราคาที่มาตรฐานเดียวกัน (เช่น ราคา walk in ของห้อง suite หักด้วยราคา walk in ห้อง superior) ซึ่งเราก็พร้อมที่จะจ่าย และห้อง suite ก็ถูกทิ้งว่างไปสองวันอย่างน่าเสียดาย ห้องแรกที่เราพักคือ 414 สุดทางเดินด้านซ้าย กว้างขวาง เงียบและสะอาด แต่อยู่เหนือครัวพอดี เริ่มมีกลิ่นจากการเตรียมอาหารตั้งแต่ตีหนึ่ง พอถึงเช้ากลิ่นแรงมากจนต้องขอย้ายห้องในคืนที่สอง ห้อง 208 ไฟหัวเตียงไม่ทำงาน ที่แขวนฝักบัวหลุด และผนังห้องค่อนข้างบางจนได้ยินเสียงเปิดปิดสวิทช์ไฟจากห้องข้างๆ คืนสุดท้าย Suite 311 กว้างขวางมาก เป็นสัดส่วนดี ทั้งครัวและห้องนั่งเล่น ตกแต่งได้ดีมาก เรื่องความปลอดภัยเป็นที่น่ากังวลเล็กน้อยเพราะสามารถเข้าถึงลิฟท์ได้จากถนนเลย Roof top ดูไม่ค่อยสะอาดเท่าที่ควร ห้องออกกำลังกายก็ยอมให้เปิดแอร์เพียงตัวเดียว ทั้งที่มี 3 ตัว ต้องใช้พัดลมช่วยเป่า อาหารเช้า แม้จะมีให้เลือกหลายชนิด แต่บางอย่างหมดเร็วมาก (ตั้งแต่ 8 น.) และการเติมก็ล่าช้า มีน้อยชนิดแต่ได้รับการเอาใจใส่อย่างต่อเนื่องอาจจะดีกว่า อย่างไรก็ตาม นี่เป็นโรงแรมที่ดีมาก และสามารถแนะนำให้เข้าพักได้อย่างเต็มปาก

Nice clean standard room with good beds. The room are very regular and has good space for storing luggage after unpacking. A chair an small table plus a very large table under the TV completes the good impressions. A negative is, that not all rooms has a safe. We were unlucky that our room had a plumbing failure causing the sink faucet to leak water all over the bathroom. It was fixed within an hour, but the fix was not sufficient and water started leaking a little again. The lobby is nice and welcoming and the staff is nice and helpful. It is possible to park for free in the hotel basement and the lift goes all the way into the basement. There is a restaurant located in the hotel building, where you can get a free coffee all the day. Breakfast is served here as well. The breakfast is pretty basic (bread, jam, buffer, cerials), but you can have omelets and eggs made to order. There are a small selection of western and thai dishes as well.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Fair restaurant prices, great reception staff, and the rooms were classy and spotlessly clean! Modern up to date rooms, lovely bedding and a great car park in the centre of Surin. This will be my hotel of choice anytime I cross the border from Thailand to Cambodia. Border crossing is 1 hour away.

Chose this hotel from the excellant reviews on tripadviser. Stayed three nights at the slive hotel if i had one petty gripe it was that the shower was just luke warm but feel im being unfair to have a slight complaint about this hotel has everything else was superb, from check in to check out the staff were so polite and friendly, room was good size, bed so comfy linens new and clean, lovely rooftop area, wifi strong, good size bathroom, Breakfast was well laid out with more then enough choices to start the day, location was good, download the grab or bolt taxi apps for rides in Surin and other areas of Thailand at cheaper rates if one needs to travel around. Final comment on the slive hotel is if your planning on visiting surin i fully recommend this hotel and compliments to the management on the fact that i have stayed in many hotels in Thailand from 2 star to 5 star and the running of this hotel compares to them all.

SLIVE HOTEL RESTAURANT - What a seriously BAD experience.... I want a full refund !!! This is NOT a restaurant, but a kids play ground. Trying to eat an evening meal with screaming uncontrolled kids made this a VERY UNPLEASANT MEAL, which was discarded half way through because i couldn't have a conversation with my wife who was sitting opposite The waitresses couldn't control the kids and I understood their reluctance to approach the parents that were too drunk to be interested in the other guests. GET THE PLAYGROUND OUT OF THE RESTAURANT and GIVE ME A FULL REFUND. I didn't want to create a scene but should have....All of the guests this evening, other than the 3 drunk Thai couples and their screaming kids, found this far from enjoyable I say to the Slive Hotel, this is a nice restaurant...GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, maybe OK in the day time to change the restaurant into a school play ground but its TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE during the evening

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for the price I paid. The staff are exceptionally professional and the rooms and facilities are fantastic. I doubt you will find a better hotel for the price you pay. The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. The staff are also very helpful. I stayed for over a week here and will stay here next year as well.

We had a nice stay in Slive (pronounced a bit like sleeve). Good bed, everything very clean, breakfast okay too (western, Thai, fruit and vegetables). Quite a big parking garage. The elevator strangely enough stops between 2 floors so you always have to walk to the reception. Hot water for the shower was a problem, not much power and not very hot, wifi very slow.

This is a relatively new hotel with great location. There's 7-11 just few steps away. Also, you can find tuk tuk to bring you where you want to. Room is nice. I just don't like their shower gel and shampoo. It's probably the first hotel that use rather thick liquid. Very strange where they get them from.
