Because friends live nearby, I have stayed several times and for numerous days at a time. Its location is perfect for me. This hotel is on the edge of town and quiet. It is not close to any attractions and nowhere really, to walk to from here. It's not remote, just not close to anything worthy. There is a place to grab a drink adjoining the entry from the main road, which, of course, is mostly populated by locals. The rooms are all very clean, serviced every day, and the staff is as helpful as they can but do not speak english. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is large with the classic thai shower. I am usually on the side viewing the abutting farm (rice?) and like to wake up amd watch the owner/tender go about their daily routine depending on the season. There is a small restaurant which has been closed since covid. Not sure it will reopen. I'd like to see the fountain out front working..I'm not sure if it's broken or just a budget concern. This is not a fancy hotel but the AC and hot water work, and you get new towels daily. For me, most important is very clean rooms. Great stay for the price. Tipping is not expected in this part of Thailand but if you stay, leave a few baht for the cleaning staff. Oh, during the rainy season you might have to ahare the bathroom with a few tiny guests (not pests). Don't be alarmed. They need water too, are harmless, and I've never seen them outside the bathroom. Gecko roam the lobby walls and sometimes the hall and likely in your room. This unavoidable in 90% of Thailand, but they are mosquito and bug eaters, so i like. If these added attractions put you off, Thailand is not for you.

knus hotel met goede bedden en een mooie tuin, simpel ontbijt maar voor de prijs uitstekend vertoeven. behulpzaam personeel, dichtbij centrum om te wandelen,is van engelse eigenaar die erg vriendelijk is. parkeerplaats voor de deur ook voor chauffeur mogelijkheid om te douchen

Un classico hotel di conferenza 35 anni, che mantiene ancora il suo fascino, è un luogo unico, con un enorme fodero e lobby con i suoi pavimenti marmo, con le maniglie di candele e legno in mano, insieme all'ospitalità thailandese. Fortunatamente i piani per gli ospiti dell'hotel sono stati ristrutturati con nuovi impianti di illuminazione, impianti elettrici, pavimenti e bagni moderni (bagno caldo) e la piscina è rinfrescante ma non giardino tropicale - solo concreto. Le camere con doccia sono state ristrutturate con una nuova piastra di pavimento. Il buffet è superiore alla media per un hotel a Isaan. Il personale amichevole parla l'inglese IVA. A 7-Eleven è a 1 isolato. Una soia stretta parallela all'hotel (ovest) ha piccoli ristoranti e un paio di ”farang bar” con cibo occidentale ( italiano, pizza, hamburger...) La strada principale davanti all'hotel ha molti club e bar per la giovane folla.

Room # 512 \ 1 x Night Stay \ Booked via Agoda This Resort is 'value for your money' We were passing thru from Mukdahan to Korat and wanted to break the journey at Surin. The Martina Hotel did the trick very nicely. What surprised us was how quiet at night the Resort is and also how well kept the rooms are. Most hotels get tired and scuff marks but our room was excellent. All staff interactions were friendly and check in was a breeze. They have an onsite restaurant with indoor \ outdoor eating available, also open 18 hours a day!! We would happily book and stay here again anytime in the future.
