Surat Thani: hotel con bar

This place is a gem! Clean rooms, nice bathroom, great wifi (on my second stay it improved a lot). I would recommend this place to anyone, I did two (1) night stays here when I was waiting to catch a ferry or flight and both times I enjoyed my stay here! Would be good for couples or families as there is a cafe inside the hotel. 7-11 nearby within walking distance. No complaints from me in this place. Will stay here again in the future.

Un ottimo hotel all'ospedale del Diamond Plaza Hotel. Camera spaziosa con un letto molto confortevole. Buona doccia d'acqua calda e WiFi forte. Colazione è una scelta di un menu di carta lunga e era deliziosa. Forniscono caffè e cookie tutto il giorno. Un hotel molto ben strutturato che consiglio molto. La posizione era anche buona con alcuni ristoranti intorno. 7 Eleven e Lotus's è circa 800 metri Staff sono gentili e hanno organizzato un taxi all'aeroporto di Surat Thani a 400 THB. Non c'era una scatola di sicurezza nella stanza. (506)

Nothing fancy about this hotel; it was a purely rational choice for us as we simply needed a clean room and bed for our short overnight stay. The room with its ensuite bathroom was indeed in line with our expectations. Overall, the Bun hotel was a simple yet convenient choice. Breakfast in the morning was an appreciated plus. Overall, we were satisfied with our choice, the good value and service we received.

I have stayed here many times in the past 4-5 years and liked it a lot, indeed a lot. Reason: location close to main roads, good room standard and sleeping quality and - not the least - I have before always got really good food at reasonable prices served when ordering room service. The food quality is really important since this hotel is in the outskirts of the city and no suitable local restaurants are nearby. I have mainly used this hotel for overnight stays due to long car journeys. This is why I again chose to stay here last night. However, we were greatly disappointed when I and my family members received the ordered food via room service. I just wonder: what has happened with the food? It was completely tasteless, even I specifically ordered spicy ”southern style” and dishes were sloppy and too sweet. On the whole, not good at all. I do not like to express negativity, so please look at it as a cry for help to achieve positive change, i.e. to the good food standard/quality the hotel always provided before. Thus, I kindly urge the management to look into this fatal shortage of cooking quality without delay. Otherwise I may feel forced to take my business elsewhere, and for me this would be an unwanted decision.

Very good and comfortable accommodation where you can save up money without losing quality in the service. The environment is clean and the staff is friendly as well.
