Clean, high end, not quite comparable to Jw marriott in other countries but still for the price a very good stay. Breakfast included in a nice restaurant buffet, local indonesian food (rice, noodles, soups) and some western, some dimsum and sushi. Bakery area with lots of different donuts pancakes fresh and waffles. Rooms were large with large bathrooms and good view

Ho passato decenni a viaggiare per lavoro e il Majapahit è ora il mio hotel preferito sulla terra. E' come stare nelle pagine di un libro di storia. La mia bella camera di suite re si apre alla piscina e la mia unica dispiace non avere più tempo per rimanere lì. Tutto su questo hotel è classico, dal direttore generale fantasticamente amichevole, attraverso il personale favoloso e utile, alle strutture come il grande ristorante (la colazione non deve mai essere persa!), Il bar di Rocking e la bella zona di piscina.L'hotel è anche in una posizione molto buona nel centro e vicino ai grandi negozi, se è la vostra cosa. Viaggiare a Surabaya e non restare nel Majapahit non sarebbe solo un'opportunità persa, sarebbe un crimine contro i futuri ricordi, e non posso aspettare di tornare lì.

la moquette della camera è un po' sporca. il bagno non ha asciugamani/appendiabiti. viene fornito solo 1 spazzolino da denti. il pavimento del bagno sotto la doccia è molto scivoloso. ciabatte da camera anche solo 1 paio. è un hotel 5 stelle standard?

Hotel perfetto situato nel centro di Surabaya. Camere moderne con aria condizionata, bagni decenti di dimensioni. La colazione è complimentare e presa nel principale piano terra area combinata ristorante/bar. La piccola selezione di articoli per cena, anche quando si tratta di una scelta di bevande, deve sottolineare che il personale, in particolare la Reception, è molto professionale, cortese e amichevole in questo hotel ben stabilito.

This was my second time staying in Ibis Tidar Surabaya. This time I stayed with my colleague for almost a week. Room could adequately accommodating for 2 person. Bathroom quite spacious for Ibis family. I love their bathroom, it was unlike other Ibis that I have stayed, that it feels you're taking a shower in a capsule. The flat TV was super big! Inside the room you will get a mini fridge to keep your beverages chilled. You will have a safe deposit box to keep your valuable things. The aircon is clean and cold, the hot water also nice. One of the best element of this hotel is ... their breakfast! Super love! Variety was okay but do not under estimate the taste! Best breakfast ever for Ibis Family! They change menu day by day and never failed me. I love to sip their hot tea in the morning by the window with the sunlight. Location wise is perfect if you need to stroll around Tunjungan Plaza area. It is easy as well to find meal outside the hotel. Just take a 5 mins walk and you will find a street full of food! Since the lobby drop off is quite small, tell you cab driver to drop you by the street, you could easily walk though the left pedestrian provided by the hotel ;)

La stanza è molto sporca, anche se la ricezione è molto amichevole e lei chiama immediatamente il custode per pulire la mia stanza, la palestra è vicino a idk se è aperta o no, ma la cosa più fastidiosa è che si può sentire la persona che sta accanto a casa gridare o fare rumore.

Didn't expect my stay to be that satisfying. As my last experience with an old hotel (Hotel Elm*) didn't leave a very good impression on me. But I decided to stay anyway because of the good reviews of this hotel. Turns out, it was all true. The front building was built in 1913, now with the famous red dome-shaped canopy on the windows, still very well taken care of. They built another high story (around 9) building, which the hotel rooms were. I was surprised that they had some stories for parking lot, too. And this hotel was formerly managed by Ibis. I booked a superior room, because they said that their standard rooms were mostly smoking. The bathroom was very clean, the walls were marble patterned so you can't see it from the photos. But I assure you it was clean, and didn't smell weird or anything. The hot water and the pressure were perfect. The room was very comfy, too. Bright on the day and the lamps were bright enough for the night. Very nice and quiet, too. Bed was wobbly and too bouncy for me, but still comfy. Too bad the sheets had weird yellow stains on them. But it smelled new and fresh. Maybe the stains just couldn't come off. And I still had a good night sleep. They also provided us with water dispenser, so I could refilled my bottles. But there was no fridge or hair dryer (but I think you can ask for this) in the room. Check in and check out were super fast. And although part of it was an old colonial building, it didn't feel spooky or anything. Breakfast was nice, but I think the milk wasn't fresh. It tasted weird. The only minus side for me was the restaurant and common areas, although fully Air Con'ed, were ALL smoking areas (except the floor for superior rooms, I think). So I had my breakfast in peace and a person on the next table smoked, inside the restaurant, inside the hotel. Sorry but I hate smokers who smoke inside. I get it that people used to smoke everywhere, even cigarettes were considered safe for kids and pregnant women once. But it was decades ago, dear Mr/Madam. Please update! But did I mention that I got the discounted superior room with breakfast from Trip.com for less than $20? Yes you read that right. 4-stars hotel with 2-stars hotel price. Would definitely come back again if I get the chance.
