Hotel vicini a Science North a Sudbury

La camera era molto diversa dal mio soggiorno precedente. Ho optato per una camera con letto matrimoniale invece di una camera con letto matrimoniale e sono rimasto sorpreso di scoprire che il mio frigorifero era grande la metà dell'altro che avevo e questa camera aveva la moquette che non era stata aspirata molto bene. Ho trovato anche un calzino da bambino quando ho tirato indietro le lenzuola. Questo mi dice che non sono stati cambiati e hanno anche trovato capelli neri scuri nel mio letto. Anche la piscina era fuori servizio, ma non ho mai visto alcuna manutenzione. Il personale era ancora eccezionale, gentile e cordiale.

Mio figlio e io siamo rimasti in questa Super 8 la seconda notte del nostro viaggio in Canada. Dopo aver lasciato l'Alberta centrale venerdì mattina, siamo arrivati alla Super 8 Sudbury tardi sabato sera dopo il nostro secondo giorno di guida completo. Eravamo pronti a dormire. A un certo punto dopo aver dormito, ma prima di svegliarci alle 6:00, la porta si aprì e qualcuno si accendeva le luci! Il signore del desk aveva anche assegnato la nostra stanza a un nuovo ospite appena entrato, e lei è entrata direttamente nella nostra stanza mentre dormivamo. Siamo svegliati non appena le luci si sono svegliate, e la signora era probabilmente sconvolta come noi, e si è scusata e si è lasciata immediatamente, ma il fatto che potesse aprire la nostra porta e camminare nella nostra stanza non è chiaramente accettabile. La mattina dopo, quando ci siamo recati, ci siamo lamentati al signore del desk front, che ha indicato che era lui che ha assegnato la stanza alla signora che era venuta in ... ma la parte che non ero affatto felice con (non che io ero felice con nessuna di essa) È stato che non sembrava molto preoccupato per il fatto che aveva dato accesso alla nostra stanza ad un altro ospite! Ci sono stati altri incidenti che potevo anche includere, ma penso che l'anecdoto sopra sia sufficiente per indicare che non resterò più in questo hotel, se mai passassi di nuovo attraverso Sudbury.

La stanza era pulita e buona, ma la posizione è un po ' lontana nel Majid.

This is more of a no tell motel. I booked this for my boyfriend, children and I. They billed our room hours in advance. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where they take your “deposit” as a means to bill you for the room. It was MORE than the room cost. Even GWL is half or so what the room costs. Then they don’t bill you for the room (that part I was ok with afterwards). The “breakfast nook” in the lobby is 90% out of service. What they do offer for breakfast is literally a brown bag lunch. I didn’t even bother looking at what was offered, as they were all literally in brown paper bags. Nothing was laid out so you had a choice to see what was there. It’s like it was a homeless shelter. Like I said in the title - no tell motel. The whole building is only 2 floors so there is no elevator you have to carry everything upstairs if you’re on the second floor, the door to which isn’t easy to do and if you have children with you it either means carting them up and down with you on stairs or leaving them alone in the hotel room. The one stair case smelled like urine and a musky basemen. Our room had 2 sticky spots on the carpet, holes in the screen, the room REEKED of cigarette smoke they tried to mask with a glade plug in (speaking Erin someone else who rented a room theirs did as well but they only got spray in their room, they were below us), there was cereal under the one desk, and a massive chunk of hair in the bathroom behind the door! If you’re wondering my hair is purple not black, my children have blonde hair. The beds were doubles, and were the shortest doubles I’ve ever slept on in my life, I’m 5’8” and when I stretched out my feet they were off the bed. When I mentioned these things to the desk they were Iike we can’t do anything about these because you booked through a third party booking site (it’s their PARENT SITE by the way, I just had a corporate discount). There is no excuse for lack of cleaning. The fact that most vehicles were gone by 630am just confirms this is likely a no-tell motel and not a hotel. I’d never stay there again. Next time we go to Sudbury to see Science North and Dynamic north we will pay a bit more for a proper hotel Vs a dive. The only thing I’ll give them is we didn’t get bed bugs.

Non scrivo recensioni, ma mi sentivo costretto a venire qui dopo il mio soggiorno. Questo non è un luogo per portare una famiglia con i bambini. Non conoscevamo la zona, ma al momento dell'arrivo, notammo che il “parcheggio” (camera per 6 auto) e l'area generale intorno all'hotel erano piene di persone in droga/senza casa. Le camere sono date e in necessità di riparazioni, il sedile del bagno cadde fuori e la porta del bagno non sarebbe stato chiuso. Le letti erano comodi. Il colazione era ok, le basi, niente di sorprendente. Abbiamo notato che ci sono stati diversi ospiti dell'hotel che erano membri della comunità senzatetto - che è bello che hanno da rimanere da qualche parte, ma non ci siamo sentiti al sicuro avere i nostri figli lì. Molte persone si sono impegnate in droghe nelle strade e sull'ascensore, tutti i dipendenti erano carini e di aiuto. Volevo solo avvertire le persone che questo non è un bene/sicurezza sono di città, che è sfortunato per le persone che cercano di gestire un business alberghiero perché non è colpa loro.

La posizione è così confusa, il parcheggio è gratuito e la stanza era abbastanza pulita ma il frigorifero è troppo piccolo. I trattori non erano fissati, si apriva di nuovo e di nuovo da solo. consiglierà solo il 50 per cento,
