Guest house ricavata da un ex supermercato, proprio sulla Ring Road, con park di fronte e a lato della struttura, e pompa di benzina proprio davanti. Grande sala comune con maxischermo, biliardo e freccette. Camera piuttosto spartana, sufficientemente spaziosa, con letto comodo ma piccolo (il più piccolo trovato durante 15 gg. in Islanda). Pulizia buona. Bagno razionale, con box doccia e lavabo piuttosto piccolo (ma non minuscolo come trovato in altri posti), no phon. Colazione piuttosto varia, ma con prodotti di scarsa qualità. Nell'insieme dà la sensazione di un luogo poco curato e un po' trasandato, ma per una notte va più che bene, anche se il rapporto qualità/prezzo secondo me è sfavorevole.

Nice place with a shared fridge. Delicious breakfast, great variety. Friendly staff. Easy to find. Comfy bed! If there were one thing that would have been nice to have, it would have been a hair dryer because my lady really appreciates that.

Stopped for dinner, quick and friendly service and the food was of excellent quality. Recommended, will definitely stop here next time I am in the area. The restaurant is situated in the newer Co-Op building, built in the early eighties. Back in those days, the Co-Ops built a lot of buildings in the same brutal style, but don’t let that dissuade you. It may look like a concrete bunker, but it is very cozy on the inside 😀

This is the best breakfast we had in whole of Iceland. Hosts are nice couple that purchased this property 2021 during covid. Room was big, breakfast amazing, no kitchen, but there was common area with tea coffee and microwave, Amazing village in the middle of nowhere on the ring road. Recommend staying here, nice quiet town.

we came with a group// rooms were very nice and big' food was good ( dinner & breakfast) service was excelent the couple who mange the palce is very poleit and helpfull very nice view i recomend it for families also

Very reasonable hotel. We booked a triple room. This hotel has a restaurant with happy hour. Breakfast is included. Best value in Iceland. Would highly recommend. On the road, view of harbor, nothing fancy, but the staff are awesome, extremely helpful.

Kleinschalig en gezellige guesthouse. Vriendelijke uitbater. Wordt gerund door de eigenaars. Veel mogelijkheden om gezellig samen te zitten en ontspanning. Eenvoudig en lekker restaurant. Kamers waren heel netjes met goede bedden.
