È proprio al confine di Pantai Cenang e vicinissimo all'aeroporto!
Anche se è al confine, è pulito e la spiaggia qui è quasi esclusiva.
La vista nel ristorante in stile occidentale per la colazione al mattino è fantastica (ma il ristorante in stile asiatico è migliore😋).
È più comodo camminare dalla spiaggia fino alla strada di Pantai Cenang, altrimenti camminare dalla hall richiederà una deviazione.
Le camere negli hotel resort sono grandi, e anche l'hotel stesso è molto grande. È molto bello stare in hotel. Abbiamo trascorso quasi l'intera giornata sdraiati in hotel perché faceva davvero troppo caldo e soleggiato.
Il vecchio albergo è stato ben ristrutturato e mi ritengo abbastanza soddisfatto, dopo tutto gli altri alberghi a cinque stelle dell'isola sono più cari.
Pantai Cenang è davvero bello e facile da fotografare. Ci siamo andati due volte per guardare il tramonto.
Ho davvero intenzione di andare in spiaggia più spesso quando soggiorno qui. I tour da un'isola all'altra e altre attività partono tutti da Gua Town, che si trova a 15 chilometri di distanza, quindi basta organizzare un tour da un'isola all'altra o un percorso al tramonto. Oppure vai da un'isola all'altra la mattina, torna in hotel nel pomeriggio e fai un pisolino prima di uscire a goderti il tramonto.

Soggiorno altamente raccomandato al Parkroyal Langkawi.
Il bene:
- Servizi eccellenti per i bambini. Piscina grande, piscina piccola, piscina per bambini, spiaggia pulita, parco giochi, miniclub... mio figlio non voleva andarsene
- Camera grande con vista straordinaria. Prendete la camera con vista sull'oceano e non ve ne pentirete.
- Enorme varietà di colazione.
- Personale amichevole.
- Il cibo del ristorante è buono e non così costoso per un hotel.
Il cattivo: (in generale, sono fantastici! Ma i punti fastidiosi di seguito)
- Servizio molto lento. Mi ci sono voluti 45 minuti per effettuare il check-in. In generale, il personale non è dei più efficienti.
- Pulizie di base. Per il prezzo, mi aspetto che le pulizie non si limitino a pulire, ma anche a riordinare e mantenere la stanza. L'asciugamano non era piegato, i vestiti erano rimasti sul pavimento, la mia tazza di pasta sul pavimento non era stata ripulita.
La posizione è così così perché non è così vicino a nessun posto. Se prendi un'auto a noleggio, è facile. In caso contrario, anche Grab funziona.

Per la tariffa che il Berjaya Resort ha da offrire, direi che vale ogni centesimo. Lo chalet era immacolato, ben arredato anche se trovo che alcune unità potrebbero aver bisogno di un rinnovamento urgente. Il cuscino, la biancheria, l'aria condizionata erano fantastici e garantivano un buon sonno. Sentirsi rilassati e calmi con i suoni della natura in sottofondo. Anche il cibo era buono con molte scelte disponibili in tutti i loro ristoranti. La piscina e la spiaggia erano stupende. Il mio punto forte è ovviamente il personale. Erano tutti attenti e gentili. La mia unica raccomandazione è che dovrebbero avere opzioni migliori per gli snack del minibar.

A special mention goes to Chef Mahesh Singh Rawat, the Indian Sous Chef, who went above and beyond to cater to our dietary requirements. His thoughtful gesture of making delicious tea for my family was truly appreciated and added a warm touch to our stay. The tea was delightful, and it’s these small acts of kindness that make a big difference.

The room was spacious with a lovely view, and the bed was comfortable. However, it certainly didn’t look like a new hotel that’s been open for 12 months. The flooring, wardrobes and bathroom were tarnished and looked cheap. The grouting was yellow. However, it was still a relatively pleasant experience, albeit below expectations. Breakfast was standard, nothing special. Pool area was really lovely. Location is a strange one, a few minutes away from the beach, however it’s pretty quite around hotel. Also I was confronted by a pack of stray dogs about 150m from hotel, which put a damper on my stay. The lively town was 1.2 miles away.

My wife and I fully enjoy the Ritz Charlton Langkawi. This was our third stay in two years, and we will return again and again.
The well-trained and super-friendly staff throughout the resort are a shining example of a 5-star resort. One of the best breakfast offerings
anywhere in the world.
One issue that might have been improved was upon arrival.
We landed late evening and were escorted to our room - only to realize the air conditioning
was non-existent. We were moved to another Deluxe room and apologized for the inconvenience.

My stay at the St. Regis Langkawi was underwhelming. Despite the high price tag, the room was average at best, with outdated decor and amenities. The service was lacking, with slow response times and a lack of attention to detail. I arrived with my guests for a short 3 days 2 nights getaway. It started when we arrived we were told the hotel is experiencing high occupancy and was told to wait till it was past check-in time for check in. We were also told to check daily with the concierge to see if we could get a late checkout. We booked 3 rooms but in the end only 2 were granted the request. I was told to wait at a meeting room while waiting for my guests from the other 2 rooms which I rejected. After repeated requests with the concierge the manager stepped in and put us at another room with default while waiting for our guests. The breakfast staffs were excellent and prompt in delivering world class service. However the dining options were overpriced and the overall atmosphere felt impersonal. I expected more from a luxury hotel like the St. Regis, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I told the manager that I might not consider St Regis Langkawi again.

Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno in questo alloggio. Il cibo era delizioso in tutti i ristoranti, e la pulizia in tutto il locale lasciava un'impressione duratura. Il personale era incredibilmente gentile e ospite, assicurando una piacevole esperienza. Sebbene la sabbia della spiaggia fosse ghiacciata, la trasparenza del mare era leggermente influenzata dal vento, ma rimaneva bella.

Ottima esperienza al Tanjung Rhu Resort!
Ampie camere con un'enorme spiaggia privata! I tramonti sono stupendi!
Il servizio era ottimo, anche se le camere sono un po' datate. L'unico piccolo difetto sarebbe la pressione dell'acqua nel bagno. La pressione della doccia oscilla ed è generalmente molto debole. Dopo aver informato la reception, hanno inviato un tecnico nella stanza, che hanno temporaneamente riparato, ma dopo circa 5 minuti la pressione è diminuita di nuovo.
Nota a margine, avevano un accordo BOGOF per la spa, tuttavia avevano solo una massaggiatrice e dovevi prenotarla almeno un giorno prima. Quindi, anche se desideri un massaggio di coppia, non è stato possibile accoglierlo.
