Hotel 4 stelle a Oslo

Sicuramente una zona più trafficata della città, ma ci è piaciuto essere nel mezzo. Dalla finestra si potevano vedere e sentire le fontane del parco. C'è un piccolo balcone al secondo piano, dove è stato fantastico sedersi al tramonto sorseggiando il delizioso vino bianco offerto dall'hotel. Le stazioni ferroviarie sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi e, in generale, la posizione è ottima per raggiungere a piedi tutti i luoghi che volevamo visitare. I letti erano molto comodi e abbiamo dormito benissimo! La colazione del mattino era fantastica e l'atmosfera era molto piacevole! Non riesco a credere alla postazione dei succhi freschi e agli shot salutari... l'America deve migliorare le colazioni in hotel.

No regrets choosing this hotel for stockholm. The view right outside the hotel is breathtaking! We were greeted by this spectacular scenery every morning. Wished we could stay more days here. My family room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all, my family had a good time here. One thing to take note, it would be so more easier if you drive as the hotel is located uphill. Though the metro is just nearby, it is going to be difficult i.with a luggage.

Grande hotel boutique! Solo la cosa sfortunata è che il colazione si apre solo alle 8 del fine settimana, quindi ci siamo persi a causa di un volo precoce, ma hanno fatto un colazione per andare quando ci siamo ispezionati!

L'hotel perfetto per soggiornare, il personale è stato molto bello e utile. Dopo aver controllato, abbiamo un autobus per la notte per catturare, il personale era generoso abbastanza per permetterci di usare la doccia in palestra, siamo stati super lieto di essere in grado di rilanciarci. Il personale ci ha chiesto di essere come a casa, e ci siamo divertiti molto. Il pranzo è molto bello, il pranzo complimentare è anche buono, con diversi piatti ogni notte. Anche il pomeriggio hanno il tempo di fika per un snack e caffè veloce. Sorpreso dal servizio e impegno per ogni cliente.

Hotel semplice, puro. Il personale è molto utile. La posizione è facile da camminare dalla stazione ferroviaria attraverso il centro commerciale, ma non è esattamente vicino al centro delle attrazioni. Il colazione è semplice ma molto bello (veramente amano i loro croissants). Apprezzi anche il pacchetto di colazione che l'hotel ci ha dato; dal momento che il nostro treno a Bergen è molto presto al mattino 🙂

Molto raccomandato. L'hotel fa parte di un vecchio ufficio postale, situato dietro un fermo degli autobus, a 100 m da un fermo dei tram e a 500 m dalla stazione centrale di Oslo. Ci sono ristoranti solo a piedi o vicino. La stanza è abbastanza grande e ben attrezzata, con lavatrice, una grande secca, una microonde e tutti gli utensili. Ci sono una stanza pubblica per (autoservizio, super comodo, spazio abbastanza grande) strutture di deposito dei bagagli e tutte le esigenze (pacchetti di tè, asciugamani, lenzuola, e colli per orecchini, ecc., anche se è tranquillo a notte) Tutto è fatto su app, compresi i controlli di entrata/uscita e l'apertura delle porte. Tuttavia, la funzione di apertura della porta nell'app non funziona a volte, quindi è necessario utilizzare il codice invece (non c'è ricezione). Inoltre, è necessario passare attraverso alcune scale all'ingresso e un passaggio di vento per raggiungere la tua stanza. La stanza è un po' buia di notte (anche con tutte le luci) per leggere e scrivere.La TV è in una posizione strana.

風景超讚！晚上在公共休息廳加班也非常愜意。 房間很小沒有電梯，也是個很有歷史的酒店，暖和點了還有泳池。 建議開車前往比較方便。

This is a great hotel to stay at on your trip to Bergen. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the water front and an easy walk to the tram, shopping, restaurants, among the many attractions. There are so many different places to eat and a wide variety of food to chose from. The hotel is staffed by very nice people who speak a variety of languages. There is free coffee and tea around the corner from the reception, and they have a small reception area with some seating to you can get a drink or just wait for friends to come down to the lobby. The breakfast, which opens at 6:30 is a dream! One of the best breakfasts I have seen in many years of traveling. The room are good sized, but that obvious depends on what you ask/pay for. We enjoyed out stay here immensely!

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Myself and a group of HE students have returned home from a conference where we stayed in this hotel. The staff were really helpful and polite. Every morning we would ask for fresh towels at reception and these were either provided there and then or delivered to the room within 10 minutes of the request. The hotel is located around 10-15 minutes walk away from the marina, the tube station, royal palace. The students really enjoyed how central the hotel was to everything. Check in and out was smooth, and the rooms were clean. There was a QR code in the room to scan if you wanted the cleaner to come in on a daily basis.  There was a small selection of snacks in the reception area to purchase. On the other hand the breakfast variety was really good.  From fresh waffles and pancakes to cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit, fresh smoothies and juices.  Overall this hotel is great if you want a base to go and explore Oslo. I would recommend this hotel to a weekend away.
