Hotel 4 stelle a Riga

Ho avuto un soggiorno meraviglioso in questa spaziosa e pulita stanza, e mi sono fermato solo per una notte, ma mi è stato così confortevole che vorrei poter stare più a lungo. Il letto era molto confortevole, e la stanza era decorata con gusto in colori calmi, creando un'atmosfera confortevole, e aveva anche una cucina con microonde e frigorifero, che era conveniente. Una piacevole sorpresa è stata la lavanderia gratuita nel seminterrato, compresa una lavatrice e un asciugamano, che durante il mio viaggio è stato incredibilmente utile. Il personale era amichevole e accogliente, e l'hotel era ben attrezzato, rendendolo una grande scelta per i viaggiatori di svago e di business.

Situato nel cuore culturale e geografico di Riga, a pochi passi dall'architettura Art Nouveau e dal Teatro dell'Opera Nazionale Lettone, l'Eurostars Metropol offre 84 camere lussuose e confortevoli, dotate di minibar e TV al plasma. La posizione centrale dell'hotel, alla fine nord-est della vecchia città di Riga, rende molto facile esplorare la città. Siamo stati vicini alle principali attrazioni della città e siamo a 5 minuti a piedi dalla Cat House, Monumento della Libertà, Riga/Dome Cathedral e St. Peter's Cathedral. Abbiamo prenotato la stanza senza finestra.Era molto ben decorata e il letto era molto comodo. La stanza era tranquilla, ma un po' stufata e non abbiamo sentito l'AC abbastanza forte. Ci sembrava che la stanza fosse ancora buona, ma per il prezzo, e ci fosse un sacco di confezioni, c’era una macchina da caffè Nespresso, una stazione di tè, tazze di tè carine e un grande bagno con una doccia molto bella. Apprezziamo che sia stato fornito un adattatore per pareti e che sia stato inserito in quello che lavorava con gli integratori del stile nordamericano. L'hotel è situato in un edificio del XVII secolo e ha un bel atrio specchiato. C'è una storia divertente in cui un cavallo ha buttato una scarpa, ha colpito l'edificio e l'ha presa, quindi il proprietario l'ha tenuta perché si è sentito fortunato. L'hotel dispone di un bar nel lobby e di un piccolo negozio. L'alba di questo hotel è stato il colazione con una vista magnifica sulla città dalla finestra e un buon colazione, con un piccolo buffet con formaggio, pesce fumato, pane fresco e altre scelte. Abbiamo goduto di una varietà di bevande come la limonata di rhubarb e il cioccolato caldo. Puoi ordinare un prodotto caldo che include.

Hotel bellissimo vicino alla stazione di autobus e treni. Le camere potrebbero essere rinnovate un po', ma c'è tutto quello che ti serve. Un po'di rumore a causa del traffico fuori (la nostra stanza era di fronte alla strada). La generosa colazione internazionale e il spa (due piscine e sauna) sono scontate per gli ospiti. The hotel is well located on the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk from the all old town attractions, excursion pick up points and tourist office. Excellent check in, well appointed room overlooking the river. A higher room would have been preferable, but room facilities excellent. Although accommodation is very reasonably priced, we found the €20 pp charge for use of the spa facilities a little out of kilter. Disappointed and surprised - especially at this time year - that we were not allowed a late checked even at the cost of €15 per hour after 1pm.

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

Questo enorme (444 posti letto) ex hotel ”Moevenpick” nella periferia di Riga può avere un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo (vedi sotto), ma mostra la sua età (potenzialmente risalente al 1990 e non molto ristrutturato). Le camere sono abbastanza spaziose e dotate di tutti i comfort (l'aria condizionata in camera singola in estate è un vantaggio!!), ma sono antiquate e usurate, quindi direi accettabili solo per dormire. I clienti sono principalmente gruppi di viaggiatori provenienti da Germania, Polonia e altri paesi baltici. In estate è piacevole poter fare colazione (15 € in più - controlla le tariffe incl. - in realtà non c'è controllo degli accessi) sulla terrazza, la qualità e la scelta sono buone. Sauna 15 €/persona per 2 persone Orari... Ricorda che la zona è isolata, per visitare il centro storico è NECESSARIO usare il tram o il Bolt. Tuttavia, i ristoranti sono raggiungibili a piedi (cerca su Google). Questo posto ha un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, con tariffe per una doppia con colazione inclusa di 50-60€ (singola 45-50€) in base al prezzo. Sarei molto deluso se dovessi pagare 100€++ per una ”cabina” così vecchia e usurata. Massimo 3*, più 2*.

The hotel was in an excellent location only 5mins walk from the bus to and from the airport and central for the old town. Hotel staff and reception welcoming. Our room very clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and the room very cosy. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

The hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on. We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later. There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

Ci siamo arresi, pensando di aver avuto una brutta camera.
