Hotel 4 stelle a Newcastle

Sempre un fantastico soggiorno nel nostro posto preferito a Newcastle, lavoro breve al tono o al quayside così tanti da fare e vedere e molti posti da mangiare. Le camere sono davvero pulite e ben attrezzate!! Non posso aspettare di rimanere di nuovo!!

Helpful friendly staff at reception Good location. The bathroom in my room had an unpleasant odour, smell, possibly the pipes from the toilets, was clean but the smell was very unpleasant. Bathroom needs ripping out & updating & new pipes for toilet. Not good for light sleepers like myself - can hear drunks outside & people outside at night. The train going past on the bridge is a lil noisy & the guests in other room made noise. Comfy bed & nice sized room & view. Hard working housekeepers who do an EXCELLENT job 💫💫💫 Good value for money.

Penso che questo potrebbe essere un hotel davvero bello con qualche trucco. La posizione è grande, a pochi passi da un traffico e bar/club rumorosi. La nostra camera era una buona dimensione e si sentiva comoda. Il personale del desk front was very friendly and check-in/out was fast and easy. La principale partenza era la pulizia, e mi sentivo che la pulizia poteva essere più approfondita, soprattutto nel bagno, perché la grotta era visibile rosa, e c’era polvere sotto il tavolo e dietro la sedia. Il rumore è stato un problema per noi, ma non è colpa dell'hotel, ma degli ospiti, ma il rumore viaggia molto facilmente, quindi mi sono svegliato tardi di notte e presto di mattina. Le porte potrebbero essere regolate in modo che non si sbattano e le camere potrebbero essere più adatti al suono.

Room was very tired. This use to be a lovely hotel but now, from our recent experience, it’s very much fur coat and no knickers. Lovely reception bar and dinning areas but our room was definitely not what Hilton use to stand for. Our room was very very tired. The wood work was all chipped and looking shabby, the pleather head board had numerous bare/worn areas and there was mould in the bathroom. Not sure if all rooms have these issues our just the ones you get if booked through trip.com.

Francamente, la dimensione della stanza è superiore alla mia immaginazione, un appartamento molto ampio.La cucina dovrebbe essere costruita in tutti. Possiamo fare colazione e cena da soli. Possiamo lavarci i vestiti per una notte. Abbiamo un senso di casa, che le strutture sono più vecchie. E'anche molto conveniente viaggiare, molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e al supermercato, e la prossima volta penserà qui.

We had booked a junior suite. On arrival we were greeted warmly and efficiently checked in. We were given our key and told we were in room 118. We were told that we had to go up one floor in the lift and then backdown the stairs as our room was in between floors. It was the only room at that level. Had I have known that I wouldn’t have booked it as I was travelling with my mum who is post surgery with a new hip, and stairs and luggage were a bit of a challenge. Anyway, once inside our suite was perfect. It consisted of a living/dining/kitchen room with a sofa, TV and pretty much a full kitchen, I.e Hob, fridge with an ice box, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom was made to feel a little small as the bed was absolutely huge, it also had a TV in there too. The bathroom was quite standard but spotlessly clean. The only gripe I had was there was only one electric heater and that was in the bedroom, so if you were cold I had to go into the bedroom. Would I stay there again…..yes but perhaps in a room that didn’t need to climb stairs.

Il riscaldamento non funziona la stanza è freddo. Quando si fa la doccia l'acqua arriva lentamente, il drenaggio per l'acqua non passa. La TV è vecchia, non si possono accoppiare i dispositivi. Sono necessari rinnovamento nella loro stanza. Il posto è buono, ma l'hotel è troppo vecchio

We loved our stay at this hotel right in the centre of Newcastle & perfect for us getting to the Utilita Arena. The staff were excellent & extremely helpful re: our luggage being brought into the hotel. & a room fan & a change of hair dryer within minutes. Will return..

Hotel carino in ottima posizione. Tuttavia, quando sono tornato nella nostra stanza di sera, c'era un disco alto sopra di noi, dal brochure dell'hotel si è indicato che questo sarebbe finito a mezzanotte. L'abbiamo sentito ancora alle 2. Abbiamo anche cercato di ordinare servizio in camera e non abbiamo ricevuto risposta al telefono. Infine, ci svegliamo alle 8 di domenica mattina, da quanto sembrava che i puliziari spostassero tutto il mobilio e spazzassero via il pavimento. Abbiamo parlato di questo in occasione del check-out, e anche se il personale si è scusato, non sembrava molto sincero.

Ideal location right by the train station. Hotel room was lovely, beds comfortable, shower warm - large spacious room. Mini bar also. Hotel staff friendly breakfast was available at extra charge but did not have it. Would stay here again.
