Hotel 3 stelle a Hakodate

The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met. We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon. However, our flight was cancelled and we had to seek alternative, delaying our arrival time until 23:00. When we arrive, we thought we will be self-checking in. But as we step inside the property from a heavy snow, we saw this kind gentleman waiting for us right at the door. He greeted us, helped us check in, and explained everything clearly. He offered us free flow free drinks and free ice cream (which was also very tasty) When we wanted to have some late night snacks bought from a convenient store, he also helped us reheat the food. 誠にありがとうございます！ Everything else was great as well! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy, and it’s so nice to have a hot spring after out in the cold for the entire day.

The room size is standard for Japan. There is a man-made hot spring with a good variety of shampoo and bath products available. The breakfast is standard—nothing special, but decent overall. Only one type of sashimi (squid) is offered. A convenience store is located right next door, just 1–2 minutes’ walk away, which is very convenient.

2人で泊まらせていただきました。 部屋はすごく広くて綺麗だし、ベッドも大きくて快適でした！ 今回使ってないのですが、無料で自転車の貸し出しをしていたのはすごくいいサービスだと思いました。 駅からは少し歩きますが、程良いお散歩ができるくらいの距離でした。行く途中で海が見えるので絶景です。 本当に強いて問題点を言うなら、部屋の鍵を開けるのに苦戦したくらいです、、笑 鍵を回してドアノブをひねったら空くかと思いきや、ドアノブをひねらずにドアを押したら開くタイプの扉でした。 もう少し分かりやすいところに張り紙があってもいいかもですね^^; おかげさまでいい旅行になりました！ ありがとうございました！

The hotel is conveniently located, literally about 5 minutes from the station, which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The room had the basic essentials, and the area is surrounded by many restaurants. However, for the price, I expected more. The room for two people was extremely small: basically just a bed, a very narrow table with almost no usable space, one chair, and a fridge. The space under the bed for suitcases is a smart idea, but it does not really solve the problem, as there is simply nowhere comfortable to sit or spend time in the room. Another thing I found strange was that there was a Bible and The Book of Mormon in the room. At first, I thought previous guests had left them behind, so I went downstairs to ask, and was told that this was official hotel literature. I found this confusing and unnecessary. A charger was also provided, but it was not clearly marked as a hotel item, so at first I thought it had been left behind by another guest and that the room had not been cleaned properly. The hotel provides various disposable amenities, but surprisingly there were no toothbrushes. Overall, the experience was not great. The location is convenient, but the room size, check-in experience, and some strange details made the stay disappointing.

Avete un piacevole soggiorno! La camera è spaziosa, il personale è davvero gentile e utile. Sono un bellissimo lobby con bevande gratuite per gli ospiti dell'hotel. Ho avuto la vista più grande, navi nella baia La posizione è grande! Molto vicino alla stazione e al mercato del pesce mattina. La zona circostante ha molti ristoranti e caffè.

Molto amichevole da solista. Il trasporto è comodo, pulito e igienico e il prezzo è giusto. C'è una farmacia e un supermercato diagonalmente di fronte all'hotel, il che rende conveniente lo shopping. Questa volta sono andato a Hakodate per guardare il film di Conan e partecipare alla parata di Conan. L'unico cinema di Hakodate è molto vicino all'hotel, a tre-cinque minuti a piedi. C'è una zuppa al curry nelle vicinanze che è davvero deliziosa.

Vecchi edifici?Perche'vivo, le camere sono vecchie e il letto non è buono.Il cibo e il vino sono buoni.Il panorama della piscina aperta sulla spiaggia è molto buono.

We stayed at LC Goryokaku Hotel during our family trip to Hakodate and were pleasantly surprised by how well it suited our needs. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Goryokaku Park and the Tower, which made it easy for us to explore the area with our kids without needing transportation all the time. The room was clean, spacious enough for a small family, and had thoughtful touches like slippers, toiletries, and even a small seating area where we could unwind. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet at night, which made it easy for the children to fall asleep. The hotel also offers free drinks in the lounge, which was a nice touch, and there's a laundry area, which is very useful when traveling with kids.

The room itself was a little bit small and quite cramped. Just about enough space for one. But if you are plus sized it might seem too small. The toilet was also slightly narrow. Facilities were great, with onsen available. Within touching distance of the local public street car and bus stop. Front desk were really friendly and helpful despite the limited English spoken. They also operate early from 8am till fairly late 10pm. And the nearest konbini was also only about 200m away.
