UUtente ospiteGrande vista sul mare dalle camere, servizio ospite, grande primavera La serata è perfetta, a meno che il pranzo non sia un po' troppo costoso. Non pensare che sia fino a un standard Michelin uno stella più.

UUtente ospiteI stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

UUtente ospiteLa'gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae provided an excellent base for exploring Hakodate. The location is unbeatable—it's incredibly close to JR Hakodate Station, the main bus terminal, and tram stops, making travel seamless. The convenience continues right outside the door, with a variety of food options and a convenience store just steps away, perfect for any need. The hotel's onsen was a true highlight. It was wonderfully relaxing and the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Combining prime location, great amenities, and a relaxing onsen, this hotel offers outstanding value. I highly recommend La'gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae and would not hesitate to book here again.

UUtente ospiteWe booked this hotel for a special stay for our Christmas Day abroad and it did not disappoint. The rooms are cozy, spacious and quiet with very comfy beds. We appreciated the entry way with the closet and shoe rack. We also appreciated the shower with great pressure, the large sink counter and the Japanese style toilet. There was also a good amount of toiletries provided. We had Japanese style pajamas, slippers for the room, sandals to go around the hotel in and even slippers specifically for the toilet area. The room has a large TV and you can connect to it with an HDMI cable or screencast but we could not figure out how to screencast. The hotel primarily caters to Japanese so the important stuff was in English but the little things like the remote control and temperature control were not. We booked our stay with the buffet dinner and breakfast and for our stay it seems that all the greatest hits for Japanese cuisine were out. For dinner they had a steak grilling station, a BBQ scallop station, a sushi chef, crab dumplings and all kinds of accompaniments. For the dessert they had an array of tasty sweets but we enjoyed the macarons and Hokkaido ice cream the most. The breakfast was equally fantastic with a miso soup station, all kinds of sashimi, black pork dumplings, fried chicken and all kinds of crowd pleasers. There is a juice station and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of drinks so we were very pleased with the meals. We appreciated the plates and small dishes that allowed for small portions so we could pretty much try everything. Some items at the buffet did run out and these were specifically the small dishes - it is worth going early for breakfast and dinner because some items are not replenished and I found quite a few of these very delicious! There isn't much around the hotel other than a 7-11 and a small botanical garden across the bridge but it is definitely a hotel meant to stay in and enjoy. We went to the onsen at night and in the morning and really enjoyed the outdoor bath which was sea facing. At night you could hear the waves and see the stars and during the day you could enjoy the beach and mountain view. The onsen baths have a variety of temperature pools and saunas and good bath products. There is a machine that dispenses a few pop flavours, cold tea and mineral water in the change room. There was a variety of self care products available in the change rooms as well like toothbrushes and razors. Our room was very cozy after our bath and we found that the temperature for the hotel was possibly centrally controlled and not adjustable according to Google translation. It was set at a balmy 24 but we did figure out how to turn it off and got a comfortable night's rest. I wasn't a big fan of the hard toothbrushes that were provided mainly because the toothbrush used a coating rather than toothpaste which makes them truly single use. The hotel offers quite a few amenities outside of the onsen area but the onsen was the highlight for us. They have a lounge area with lots of seats looking out to the sea near the front desk, a separate restaurant from the buffet restaurant, a souvenir shop that sells drinks too and luggage storage. We aren't sure if there are multiple floors with laundry machines but the one laundry room we did find only had one machine so this might not be a hotel to do your laundry at. The hotel is easily accessible from both the train station and airport. From the train station you can take a bus or the tram which would take about 30 minutes and from the airport there are some dedicated busses that will take about 15 minutes. The bus station and tram station closest to the hotel is Yunokawa Onsen. This was a great stay for us and we felt one night here was perfect. There is a lot to see in Hakodate and had we stayed longer we would have chosen a more economical option but this truly was a special treat for us.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is right opposite the JR station! I was super glad I booked it, especially after experiencing how hard it is to walk in the snow with heavy luggage. The public onsen was nice, and there’s even a space where you can relax and chill after your bath. There’s also a tram station right in front of the JR station, so we could easily hop on to go to the Motomachi district and Omori Beach.

JjayvernRoom is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'. Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is less chaotic compared to the buffet restaurant as it has less people. Location is great. Walking distance to a few tourists attraction.

UUtente ospiteThe view from hotel room and rooftop are nice. But the hotel does need some upgrades. The room and Hot Springs facilities are kind of old. Although overall my two nights stay were comfortable. Room is clean, Breakfast is good. Free reman at night is nice. Convenient location, next to the Bay Area. It’s about 10-15 min walk from Hakodate Train station. Taxi ride is about ¥700.

SSaSaleishaThis is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient.  But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay  several reasons: 1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered  2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay  3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners.  I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise.

LLern ChongWe faced major comfort problems unique to this establishment. Having stayed in six different hotels during our trip, this was the only one that presented these issues. The primary problem was the temperature control. Despite setting the room to a cool 18^{\circ}\text{C}, the room remained stiflingly hot. Staff explained that the system was set to heat for the winter, leaving guests without adequate cooling control. We were forced to request a standing fan just to achieve a bearable sleeping environment. Furthermore, we both experienced significant itchiness while sleeping on the bed. This is unacceptable and suggests a concerning issue with the bedding or mattress hygiene
