UUtente anonimoLocation was superb, very close to JR station. Within walking distance to many tourists attractions. A Lawson was just next to the hotel. Breakfast was simple yet good enough for a quick breakfast. Staffs were friendly and helpful! It will be better if cotton pads could be provided.

CChrisYap1199Clean Apartment hotel. Interestingly they have an automated bath tub with water system. Good view and of coz a balcony for slow mornings and coffee. Location is great, only a few hundred meters to the train station. Convenience store just a few minutes walk. Near the fresh market. Staff were friendly and gave us toiletries and left it outside the room even when we did not ask for room cleaning. Spacious and great stay for Ironman participants as the unit is big, you can build your bike comfortably. Overall it was a great stay!

I recently had a great stay at Hotel Enoe Hakodate and would highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a convenient and comfortable stopover.
The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Everything from the lobby to the room felt well-maintained and spotless, which is always a top priority for me.
The location is a major plus. It's perfectly situated for a quick stopover, making it easy to access local sights and transportation. I found it to be a great base for exploring the area without any hassle.
The room size was surprisingly good. It felt spacious and wasn't cramped at all, giving me plenty of room to relax and organize my things.
Finally, the breakfast was a standout feature. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a while, with a fantastic variety of delicious options that really hit the spot.
Overall, Hotel Enoe Hakodate offers a clean, well-located, and comfortable experience with a fantastic breakfast to boot. It's a solid choice for anyone traveling through the area.

WWee LoonLa posizione è il re. Prenotato una stanza che può vedere il canale direttamente dalla finestra per una vista tranquilla. Otaru è una piccola città e la maggior parte dei posti sono a piedi. Camminare lungo il canale Otaru proprio davanti all'hotel è stato grande! La stanza stessa era normale, e abbiamo un consiglio per l'hotel di rimuovere solo i pannelli vecchi davanti ai letti, perché nessuno ha davvero bisogno di loro per dare più spazio a piedi e bagagli. Il servizio all'hotel era normale. Chi ha un'auto dovrà pagare 1200 yen per un giorno di parcheggio (dovrà informare l'hotel per prenotare il parcheggio quando uscire). Tutti, indipendentemente dal fatto che si va a fare il bagno o meno, devono pagare 150 yen per l'imposta sul bagno al momento del check-in.

UUtente ospiteWe booked this hotel for a special stay for our Christmas Day abroad and it did not disappoint. The rooms are cozy, spacious and quiet with very comfy beds. We appreciated the entry way with the closet and shoe rack. We also appreciated the shower with great pressure, the large sink counter and the Japanese style toilet. There was also a good amount of toiletries provided. We had Japanese style pajamas, slippers for the room, sandals to go around the hotel in and even slippers specifically for the toilet area. The room has a large TV and you can connect to it with an HDMI cable or screencast but we could not figure out how to screencast. The hotel primarily caters to Japanese so the important stuff was in English but the little things like the remote control and temperature control were not.
We booked our stay with the buffet dinner and breakfast and for our stay it seems that all the greatest hits for Japanese cuisine were out. For dinner they had a steak grilling station, a BBQ scallop station, a sushi chef, crab dumplings and all kinds of accompaniments. For the dessert they had an array of tasty sweets but we enjoyed the macarons and Hokkaido ice cream the most. The breakfast was equally fantastic with a miso soup station, all kinds of sashimi, black pork dumplings, fried chicken and all kinds of crowd pleasers. There is a juice station and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of drinks so we were very pleased with the meals. We appreciated the plates and small dishes that allowed for small portions so we could pretty much try everything. Some items at the buffet did run out and these were specifically the small dishes - it is worth going early for breakfast and dinner because some items are not replenished and I found quite a few of these very delicious!
There isn't much around the hotel other than a 7-11 and a small botanical garden across the bridge but it is definitely a hotel meant to stay in and enjoy. We went to the onsen at night and in the morning and really enjoyed the outdoor bath which was sea facing. At night you could hear the waves and see the stars and during the day you could enjoy the beach and mountain view. The onsen baths have a variety of temperature pools and saunas and good bath products. There is a machine that dispenses a few pop flavours, cold tea and mineral water in the change room. There was a variety of self care products available in the change rooms as well like toothbrushes and razors.
Our room was very cozy after our bath and we found that the temperature for the hotel was possibly centrally controlled and not adjustable according to Google translation. It was set at a balmy 24 but we did figure out how to turn it off and got a comfortable night's rest. I wasn't a big fan of the hard toothbrushes that were provided mainly because the toothbrush used a coating rather than toothpaste which makes them truly single use.
The hotel offers quite a few amenities outside of the onsen area but the onsen was the highlight for us. They have a lounge area with lots of seats looking out to the sea near the front desk, a separate restaurant from the buffet restaurant, a souvenir shop that sells drinks too and luggage storage. We aren't sure if there are multiple floors with laundry machines but the one laundry room we did find only had one machine so this might not be a hotel to do your laundry at.
The hotel is easily accessible from both the train station and airport. From the train station you can take a bus or the tram which would take about 30 minutes and from the airport there are some dedicated busses that will take about 15 minutes. The bus station and tram station closest to the hotel is Yunokawa Onsen.
This was a great stay for us and we felt one night here was perfect. There is a lot to see in Hakodate and had we stayed longer we would have chosen a more economical option but this truly was a special treat for us.

Posizione è molto buona, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, stazione di autobus e la piazza del mercato mattina. Dietro l'hotel c'è un grande supermercato. Amo il bus di trasporto gratuito alle attrazioni. Il colazione è buono con una vasta diffusione di cibo e piacevole. Si è davvero divertito il nostro soggiorno. Molto consigliata

UUtente ospiteThis is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient.
But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay several reasons:
1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered
2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay
3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners.
I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise.

PPietro150The Smile Hotel Premium Hakodate Goryokaku is a typical Japanese business hotel, so although the photos of the rooms may look as though the rooms are reasonably spacious, in reality it’s just a typical business hotel, with minimal space. While this should not be a big issue for many guests, if you’ve not experienced it before, be ready for a rather space limited experience. Having said that, the room was quite clean and apart from some scuff marks on the walls, it presented quite well. It’s also important to note, that since it’s a business hotel the bathroom is quite small, with the bathroom wash basin protruding into the bath tub & shower area and the toilet was clearly designed for significantly smaller users. Apart from changing towels, providing new slippers and replenishing coffee & tea supplies, there was no servicing of my room over the duration of my 3-night stay. This is all normal, so be ready for it.
The biggest annoyance was that there was no air conditioning available during the period I stayed. This is hotel policy at this time of the year, and the management clearly think that guests have no right to control the temperature, and therefore enjoy some level of comfort in their room. Because of this, on my first night the room temperature was approximately 25°c (although I couldn’t turn the air conditioning on, the control unit displayed the actual room temperature), which when combined with the fact that the bed has an arctic standard duvet (or futon - whatever you want to call it), the temperature of the room was NOT conducive to restful sleep. When I enquired about this the next morning, the front desk clerk bluntly said “open the window”, which of course I had tried to do during the night, but for some reason the handle to open and close the window had been removed, making it impossible to open the window. The clerk kindly offered to go to my room and open the window (presumably using a special tool) once I had left the room for the day, which he did. The difference in room temperature was quite noticeable when I returned that the evening, but why this policy in the first place, and the belligerence and attitude of management about guest comfort is beyond me.
The other issue was the WiFi, which was patchy and unreliable on my floor. The only way I could connect any of my devices (2 phones & 1 tablet), was to go to the lobby, connect and then return to my room. Once a connection had been established, I was able to reconnect whenever I returned to my room, however the strength of the WiFi signal varied considerably when making calls using various apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Line and FB Messenger) and therefore the call stability was unreliable with calls frequently dropping out. When I mentioned this to front desk staff, they offered to reset the WiFi on my floor, however it made little difference.
The above matters (air conditioning and WiFi) are all things that are taken for granted these days and are expected of any reasonable hotel, so to experience the difficulties outlined indicates to me that the hotel management is not really serious about guest satisfaction or comfort.
Draw what conclusions you will from this review, but from my perspective, it’s is unlikely I would stay at this hotel again when I next return to Hakodate.

다다시나가자!È un po' lontano dal centro di Hakodate, ma molto vicino all'aeroporto. Le strutture possono essere un po' meno rispetto al ryokan circostante, ma la mattina e la sera completano queste carenze.
