Initially, I wanted to book an apartment nearby Fuzhou South Railway Station as I didn't know the points of interest for visitors.
Fortunately, Trip.com offered this hotel option, which was a great help.
I recommend this hotel for any international visitors, be it solo traveller or with family, coming to Fuzhou for holiday. The hotel is centrally located to the point of interest, like Sanfang Qixiang (Three Alleys Seven Lanes). It's within 7 min walk from Dong Jie Kou (东街口) Metro Line 1 (Red Line), connecting Fuzhou Station (north) and Fuzhou South Station.
Although there is no direct window view to the road or any scenery, it feels like there is a big window facing a personal garden (see the photos).
International visitors need to show the passport, and no local mobile number is required.

"The location is very near to the Fuzhou station. When out of the station, it is actually on the right near Manhattan's hotel and you can see it. The breakfast is simple but is enough for us. The smart toilet a bit loud when u flush it. The room is a bit small if compared to normal hotel, but is good enough for us too as we are not staying there whole day. All the facilities are new, and have free laundry (is next to the building within walking distance and in secure area). We are satisfied with this hotel."

DDaniel RodL'hotel è situato in una posizione abbastanza centrale nell'isola di Pingtan, in un piccolo villaggio. L'esterno è ben decorato con luci, e se arrivi a tarda notte come abbiamo fatto noi, lo ringrazierai, dato che brilla come un faro in una strada altrimenti non molto ben illuminata.
Il servizio ha brillato fin dall'inizio. Uno del personale era pronto ad aiutarci con i bagagli e a farci entrare, e non c'è stato alcun ritardo con la registrazione del mio passaporto (qualcosa che, come qualsiasi straniero che ha viaggiato nella Cina continentale, sarà in grado di capire, non è qualcosa dare per scontato), e subito è stato inserito su WeChat, dove durante tutto il viaggio sono stato aggiornato su tutto ciò che riguardava noi ospiti, dal momento in cui era pronta la colazione, al fatto che sarebbe rimasto un ospite con un cane in una stanza accanto alla nostra (alla quale si sono offerti di cambiarci se avessimo avuto bisogno nel caso qualcuno di noi fosse spaventato o allergico ai cani). La colazione veniva sempre tenuta calda per noi, anche quando scendevamo tardi e non ci aspettavamo che fosse lì, e in generale l'atteggiamento del personale era sempre quello che ti aspetteresti in un hotel più grande, più affermato (e più costoso), ma con un tocco di soggiorno in casa.
L'hotel non è molto vicino a nessun punto panoramico o destinazione turistica, ma offre un servizio di noleggio di biciclette elettriche che abbiamo utilizzato durante il viaggio e che consigliamo a chiunque soggiorni qui poiché toglie il trasporto dalla lista delle attrazioni cose a cui dovevamo pensare e ci ha permesso di sfruttare appieno la posizione centrale della locanda. Con 2 persone per bicicletta, andando molto a nord o a sud verso la città (a volte entrambi in un solo viaggio), non ci siamo mai avvicinati troppo per scaricare le batterie.
La camera era pulita, abbastanza grande e dato che eravamo all'ultimo piano e la nostra porta si apriva su un patio, molto ben ventilato. Anche il patio si è rivelato un bel posto dove sedersi, rilassarsi o mangiare, e ho potuto fare in modo che il lavoro che dovevo finire mi sentisse meno dolorante nel bel mezzo delle mie vacanze. Le uniche cose che aggiungerei o cambierei all'esperienza della stanza sono un posto dove appendere i vestiti (non c'erano armadi o cose del genere), la carta igienica (offrivano fazzoletti ma non danno la stessa sensazione quando vuoi , sai, tieni le mani pulite) e asciugamani veri (offrono asciugamani usa e getta, ma non sono la stessa cosa).
In conclusione, non solo ritornerei, ma lo farò sicuramente, dato che ho fatto un viaggio fantastico e questa locanda ha avuto un ruolo non trascurabile. Lo consiglierei al 100% se ti piace un'atmosfera meno rumorosa, più casalinga e non ti dispiace essere a pochi minuti di auto dalla città.

The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained, modern rooms that strike a perfect balance between comfort and luxury. The amenities are pristine and thoughtfully designed to cater to every guest’s needs. What truly stood out to me, however, was the staff’s attentiveness. I’d like to extend a special shout-out to Miumiu, who went above and beyond to make my stay remarkable. She was incredibly helpful, addressing all my questions with patience and ensuring every detail was just right. Her dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets this hotel apart. XxynnerThe hotel owner was very responsive via WeChat. He'd come in his minivan to fetch you even if you're the only party. He'll also send you to the airport no matter what time.
The hotel is in the suburbs and the surroundings look kinda dodgy but it's super near the airport, it's convenient if you're transiting, which we were.
It's right beside an unassuming eatery which had fantastic food (really underrated) so you can just pop downstairs any time for food. We were out past 1 am and there was still food.
The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste.
The toilet had toiletries and a hairdryer too. All expected.
Aircon/heating is decent, room was clean and simple.
WiFi provided, water pressure is decent, mineral water and kettle available too.
We had a bit of a plumbing issue because we didn't know you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet in China but the hotel owner came quickly with his plunger and saved the night.
I have nothing to complain about and only gratefulness!

UUtente ospiteAfter staying in a stuffy and dirty hotel room our first night we ended finding this gem and booked for 2 nights. On our second night we found out there is a Shake Shack in MixC mall which was a blessing. Also, we love that they gave disposable towels. Would book again when visiting Fuzhou.

There is no receptionist, despite the info on their page that they have 24 hours reception. And no email informing how to check in.
We know our way because the taxi driver dropped us off at the Pullman hotel next to it 🤣, and the reception told us that there is no receptionist in this place that we are staying, that we may have to go to 8th floor and ask somebody there.
We went to 8th floor, and there is a storage room with people eating inside, and I just asked who manage this room that we booked through the app.
It seems that the locals are familiar with this practice, because we saw many locals staying there.

NNOHADurante la mia recente visita a Fuzhou, ho avuto il piacere di rimanere in un meraviglioso hotel, l'hotel ha offerto un servizio eccellente e il personale è stato molto amichevole e accogliente. La camera era pulita, spaziosa e ben attrezzata, che rendeva un soggiorno confortevole.Le strutture dell'hotel erano di prima vista, tra cui una deliziosa distribuzione del colazione e un relax spa.
In generale, ho avuto una grande esperienza in questo hotel e lo consiglierei molto a chiunque visitasse la città di Fuzhou. La combinazione di buon servizio, comodi alloggi e grandi attrazioni ha reso il mio soggiorno davvero piacevole. Mi aspetto di tornare in questo hotel in futuro.

TtwobunniesIn generale, è stata una grande esperienza! È in una zona vivace con negozi e sicurezza per camminare anche dopo il tramonto (ma ancora in un'ora ragionevole). C'è un supermercato circa 5 minuti a piedi e un seven-11 proprio vicino all'ingresso dell'hotel. Ci hanno aggiornati perché quando ci siamo reclutati non avevano ancora la nostra stanza pronta. La stanza era spaziale e aveva due sedie e una tavola come zona di seggiolo vicino alla finestra! Il letto era comodo e tutto sembrava pulito. Ci hanno anche aiutato a creare il nostro wifi perché non potevamo farlo funzionare. Il nostro posto preferito è il piccolo posto di pasticceria fuori dall'hotel sul canto. Hanno i migliori picchi di crema! Abbiamo ogni notte. Sono densi ma così deliziosi!! Un'altra cosa sorprendente è che la navetta aeroportuale è DIRETTA intorno alla strada. Il nostro volo era alle 9 e il bus locale non funziona fino alle 6:30 e ci vorrebbe un'ora per arrivare così presto sarebbe stato davvero difficile/ costoso. Fortunatamente, il servizio di navetta aeroportuale inizia alle 5:00!È stato 31RMB per persona.
