Hotel is very nice, comfy beds and location good to downtown St Augustine. Only downfall is we arrived late 9pm after all day travel and were given a room right next to lobby and directly next to kitchen. Banging started 6:30am (on day light savings so really 5:30am) which woke us up then when breakfast started 7:00am it got loud. Would recommend hotel just request a room away from kitchen/lobby

Our stay, here was uneventful, which is good. However, there were no straws to stir your morning coffee, however, the coffee was excellent. The shower door leaves something to be desired, only half a door. Our key cards to our room were turned off a day early so we had to go down to the desk and get new ones.

Unfortunately we were checking in and some sort of conference was going on. The location of the check in desk is right beyond the bar with no other access than through the bar. It was very confusing. We were left feeling like we had to walk through someone’s party check in and then exit back through. A bit uncomfortable. The clerk at the desk seemed maybe new/a little unsure ? But was very nice. Beds comfortable. A quick walk to the historic district and plenty of places to eat around.

The hotel was great and very convenient to all the areas we wanted to check out! The only complaint I had was that our room was covered in ants! When we woke up our beds and nightstand were surrounded by ants. I let the front desk know and they said they’d take care of the issue but that didn’t help us on our trip. Other than that though the hotel was great.

This used to be an Econolodge. It is definitely not now everything has been updated. The rooms are modern. The beds are super comfy. There are high and espresso machines in the rooms. Free glass, bottled water, exceptional breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and a nice cute bar. The rate that we paid to stay was lower than most and an exceptional value. I can’t wait to come back to Saint Augustine so we can stay here again.

I would recommend staying at Voco. Stayed at the Sarasota location as well as the St. Augustine location. Both were great! Breakfast at the st Augustine location was better though!

15 min walk to the old town, good exercice.
Soft mattress but ok overall.
