Hotel Family-friendly a Srinagar

The location was kind of convenient but then again, to what? The service was friendly, proficient and professional. I spilled a beverage on the bathroom floor so I used some tissues to wipe it off, lo and behold the tissues turned black. I was gobsmacked. Similar situation occurred in the living area with identical results. So needless to say hygiene is not of primary importance. Also when closed the toilet seat, the rear of the cover was stained with, I would imagine, urine. The Kitchen: The Chef and the maitre de saved the day as the dinner was of a very high standard, Congratulations guys, well done 👏 ✔️

Abbiamo celebrato il nostro luna di miele al Taj, e ha superato tutte le aspettative, tra le nostre esperienze di viaggio più inoltrabili. La cucina eccezionale di Jain del capo Surjeet era un'eccellente evidenza, servindoci alcuni dei piatti più belli che abbiamo mai provato. L'esperienza del bagno era sublime, e una stanza che guardava l'incredibile Dal Lake avrebbe reso veramente surreale. Tuttavia, la vera magia è stata creata da personale eccezionale, in particolare Fozia, Ummer e Suhail, il cui caldo, gratitudine e ospitezza non hanno fatto del nostro soggiorno niente meno di incantevole. Il loro servizio eccezionale ha sollevato la nostra esperienza, rendendola una celebrazione veramente inoltrabile

La posizione è stata molto benvenuta e la macchina è stata parcheggiata con un valet, che era importante perché era freddo e pioveva. Ci è stato offerto un drink caldo e un posto confortevole per sedersi mentre le formalità di check-in sono state completate. Non abbiamo nemmeno avuto tempo di finire il nostro drink prima di essere offerti una stanza aggiornata a nessun costo aggiuntivo. La stanza era spaziosa, vestita in modo bellissimo, e ci fu mostrato il nostro balcone privato con la vista più spettacolare, e questo era anche molto ben arredato. Tutto era come speravamo e come ci aspettavamo, perché l'hotel è COSTO, ma abbiamo ricevuto esattamente quello che abbiamo pagato. Tutti i dipendenti erano attenti, amichevoli e di aiuto. Purtroppo la Pandemia ha colpito tutti e questo hotel ha dovuto fare il meglio per sopravvivere a questi tempi difficili. Le strutture del Spa sono state ridotte per risparmiare costi, ma quando ci siamo avvicinati al suo utilizzo il posto è stato riscaldato e i trattamenti sono stati migliorati per garantire che siamo più che soddisfatti. Il lusso è costoso e ci è davvero piaciuto il pampering!!! Posso solo dire che questo hotel e il trattamento dei loro ospiti sono tutto ciò che si aspetta per il prezzo che si deve pagare. Se avessimo un denaro illimitato, restiamo qui solo quando visitamo il Kashmir, che spesso visitavo la famiglia. Anche quando visitamo la famiglia qui, spesso visitamo l'hotel, solo per godere i giardini e ammirare l'edificio e l'atmosfera. Sebbene non possiamo spendere un penny su queste visite, il trattamento da parte del personale è sempre stato lo stesso di quello che abbiamo vissuto in occasione di questa visita. Una parola per descrivere questo hotel FABULOUS.

I saw reviews of Hotel Alamdar is good and decided to book room here and was in touch with Mr sahil, manager of the hotel. Last day he told that they have room available only in their deluxe property quoting 200 Rs higher for room, i agreed as i was travelling with family and i did not have time to search for another one. He never mentioned the name of the delux property, i thought it is same hotel alamdar. Mr sahil is manager for the other hotel also, hence i thought my review is aplicable for hotel alamdar as well. We stayed in the hotel ”Hidden Heaven” from 04th April 2023 to to 08th Apr 2023. Rooms were very small, you hardly have space to walk inside the room once you place your luggage. No almirah, or rack provided to keep your luggage, hence you don't have any other option other than placing them on the floor. Hot water is available only from evening 6 pm to 10 am in the morning .( No power back up available, if there is any power cut, you wont have single light in your room, while we stayed there was power cut from 8 am to 9 am everyday). I found out the reason for the same later. One day while returning from the days tour i saw hotel staff connecting illegal wire to steal electricity. hence they are doing power theft. I am attaching proof for the same. Once i saw this i did not want to be associated with such an organisation which is doing such an illegal activity. I searched for another hotel and found one which was providing me a better room with a carpet at almost half the price. I informed Mr sahil (Manager of the hotel) that i want to check out one day early giving him one day advance notice( at the time of check in i had told that i will be staying till 9th), he threatened me saying that if i dont pay the bill for 9 th also, he will not allow me to check out. I had to take the help of tourist police next day to check out. Pros. 1. Many restaurants are available nearby. 2. Located 1 km away from dalgate which is the major tourist centre Cons. 1. Very small room 2. No carpet provided hence difficult to during cold times 3. No space to keep luggage 4. Hotel staff doing power theft 5. Unfriendly hotel staff, they did not arrange even a cup of tea in the morning 6. Food waste kept at the entrance of the hotel which is an unpleasant sight in the morning. 7. Expensive for the service they provide, you will find much better hotels at this price at Srinagar 8. They did not remove garbage from the room properly. 9. Hot water heater is inefficient, we had to wait for 2 hrs to get hot water

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mirage, situated in a serene part of Srinagar. The rooms were incredibly spacious and luxurious, making our accommodation very comfortable. The food was delightful, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Mr. Nazeer provided excellent room service, ensuring our needs were met promptly. A special mention goes to Mr. Zulfi, who went above and beyond to ensure our tour was unforgettable. His dedication truly made our experience memorable.
