I was attending in a conference at the convention center and the location of the hotel was excellent for quick access to the meetings. I scored 4/5 for location as it wasn't quite in the heart of everything. My apartment was clean, spacious and very modern decor. I have stayed elsewhere in Melbourne previously and this accommodation exceeds all of the others for comfort and a feeling of opulence. I was staying on my own and wanted gym facilities- the gym was amazing. Quite often the photos of gyms are deceptive in the adverts but not this one, it had everything I needed for a great workout, with a fantastic view of the city. Room service was good but not a huge range of choice. The convenience store below the hotel although convenient was way overpriced. I could see there was not a lot of traffic through the store- I suspect it is because people go there once in their stay, see it is really expensive and then go elsewhere. This would be easily fixed if the owners didn't focus on maximizing profits on just a few items. All in all this was a great hotel for a single female traveler and I would definitely stay here again.
