The room smells. Just hold your breath and you’ll be fine. As you turn on the AC you will get used to the smell. We only stayed for one night and the price is cheap so we got what we paid for.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Dolphin just fine. It is an old school motor lodge, as it were, and firmly deserving of 2-star rating it has. This is not intended as a criticism. The reasonable price is one reason I chose the Blue Dolphin. Everything is in need of an update, but the room and grounds were perfectly clean. Everything (a/c, shower, etc.) worked fine. It is a great base of operations for seeing Provincetown, beaches, and elsewhere on Cape Cod. I would stay there again. My only criticism: the pool is nice but needs to be cleaned daily. It seemed not to have been cleaned in ... weeks.

What you can expect in this price range, small towels, tired buildings and less than spotless rooms but all in all the location and price make up for it.

Stayed for one night to visit Provincetown. Our room was very cozy and quiet! Check in was quick and the staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again
