La seconda volta che resta in questo posto. Le camere sono di base, ma avevano tutto quello che ci serviva e era pulito. Doccia calda, calda e tè nella stanza. Controlla facilmente in e fuori. Grazie al personale che ha ritardato il check-out come il mio ragazzo è stato molto apprezzato!

La colazione è stata una frustrazione** rispetto alle moderne norme europee e anche rispetto alla media b&b. Le opzioni per la colazione sono state variazioni su una colazione cucinata con tosta e la possibilità di croissant o alternativa patisserie di tipo francese.

Il caffè era ben servito e sembrava (e chiamato) Americano, cioè non abbastanza forte per l'amore espresso. Non c'era latte caldo, quindi il caffè era essenzialmente lukewarm e debole.
Musli o frutta erano assenti.
Le uova schiacciate sono state supercotte.
Il personale era amichevole e utile, ma sembrava sovrasarcire, e il Brexit e la mancanza di personale alternativo si sono chiaramente impegnati.
In molti modi l'esperienza del colazione potrebbe essere migliorata.
Tutto questo è un peccato perché la posizione e il parcheggio a prezzi ragionevoli fanno un luogo ideale.

Nice looking pub with lovely river opposite Accommodation was round the back with separate door to enter which had a key code lock where a key to enter is stored in a box this was explained to us as the pub shuts early due to low season. We returned around 11:30pm put the code in and no key was in the box we then had to call an emergency number and somebody had to travel to us to let us in a bit inconvenient for both parties I’m just glad I wasn’t on my own as it’s in the middle of nowhere Rooms were fine bed clean etc but I think it should state very clearly that the rooms share a bathroom as I didn’t notice that and would not have booked knowing this , the apar**ent they have though is lovely and has ample room and it’s own bathroom. Beer was good Breakfast next morning was fine not worth though the £25 for 2 people as you get a cooked breakfast with tea or coffee that’s it it’s just brought to you no buffet option or juice cereal etc and some of it was a bit cold Staff were fine I would stay again as to be honest what we paid wasn’t a lot but I’d prefer to pay a bit more and have my own bathroom I’d also recommend just having a coded door not a key in a box as I gather this problem will happen often

Booked for a five night stay but was having our 3 year old grandson stay over for two of the nights. The staff were super accommodating and put us a small bed in our room which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was lovely every day. All the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

Went to celebrate a 90th birthday Sunday lunch - lovely surroundings very much let down by the standard of the food! Miserly starter portions; over an hours wait for the main courses which was cold when they actually arrived; a whole chicken served on a platter to some of the party who had 2 infants to manage and were expected to carve it themselves (surely it should’ve been carved by a member of staff ??!!🤔); the beef was too rare for the main guest who’s 90th it was, and when she asked to have some more well done they expected just to recook the rare slices she was served; the smallest side portion of cauliflower cheese I’ve ever seen which came in yellow water and had to be sent back (at £4.50 extra which was a disgraceful cost for the small ramekin it was in !!😤); dry overcooked roast potatoes; after the fourth time of asking the extra broccoli finally arrived when most of our guests had nearly finished. Why on earth try to skimp on portions - it just aggravates guests who are paying good money for what they hope will be worth it and add to the whole enjoyable experience !! The serving staff were lovely, polite and apologetic but the attitude of the manager when the bill was, rightfully, disputed left a lot to be desired!! There are significantly better and numerous local venues for Sunday lunch !!

Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno qui, le strutture sono davvero buone. Ci sono state piazzate la piscina e le aree di ginnastica, ci sono giochi all'aperto da giocare e i terreni sono bellissimi. Tuttavia, il servizio lascia molto da desiderare. Molti del personale sono molto giovani e, sebbene amichevole, il metodo di servizio è molto reattivo (l'abbiamo notato in altri pochi esami). Molti occhiali e piastre sono lasciati in giro, le tavole sporche non sono pulite mentre gruppi di personale sono in piedi in chiacchierata. Non mi dispiacerebbe tanto se non fosse un hotel 4/5 stella. Spesso il personale si dimentica di quello che chiederete e si aspetta dieci minuti per una cucina o latte con il vostro tè. Mentre il cibo è bello è piuttosto eccessivo - questo non ci ha disturbato tanto quanto avevamo il credito per cena, ma non avrei mangiato lì senza credito. Dopo aver detto che abbiamo avuto un buon pasto nel ristorante e il personale ha fornito un pudding come sorpresa per il mio compleanno che era un bel trattamento! In generale, ci rimanderemmo a restare di nuovo - ma non aspettare 5* servizio.

Da parte del primo al termine questo posto era fantastico! Cibo, servizio, decorazione erano brillanti! Un gioiello nascosto per certo!! Le camere sono state ristrutturate molto recentemente - senza spot e molto comodo. Il pranzo nel ristorante era eccellente. Il personale era amichevole e si occupava di tutto. Buona colazione selezione. Il posto è assolutamente sorprendente. Scavare un drink nel sole guardando il terreno e poi essere in grado di camminare in bosco era sorprendente.

Il soggiorno è fantastico per visitare le vicinanze e l'hotel è un bel edificio storico. Il moderno bagno era bello da usare, ma abbiamo trovato la stanza molto di base e poteva fare con un rinfrescato e molto deluso che non ci fosse nessuna struttura per la produzione di bevande calde nella stanza.
Abbiamo fatto il colazione inclusi nel nostro prezzo della stanza e siamo stati molto delusi - tutto nuotando in grasso e il pudding nero e la patata rosti erano molto troppo cucinati, così non potevamo finire il nostro pasto.
Il parcheggio è di 7 sterline per notte di soggiorno, ma non è stato informato in anticipo.
Probabilmente rimarremmo qui, ma saremmo in una stanza nella parte antica dell'edificio e non avremmo colazione cucinata.
