Always clean, friendly staff, room spotless, refills on tap as you walk in. Brilliant location for the Dales. Don't be put off by the abandoned restaurant outside as the actual Hotel is lovely , been coming here for years and the prices are good. Easy access and plenty of parking .It may not be an upmarket snazzy hotel but it is our favourite.

Really clean room, wonderfully comfortable bed, lovely hot shower, tea and coffee and lovely friendly staff on the desk. Situated right in the middle of where we wanted to visit. We would definitely use again if in the area. We'll done and thank you very much.

Lovely clean Travelodge. Welcoming entrance, helpful, friendly staff. Room warm with a heater you could adjust. This lodge felt fresh, compared with some I’ve stayed in. Bed comfortable. Great location for access into Richmond, the Dales, Yorkshire moors or into Cumbria. Very happy with stay and very good price.

Very good value and has everything you need for a good night's sleep. Beds were comfortable, shower warm and room very cosy. We did need to adjust the heater as it was very hot but this was easy to do. Staff were very friendly and would stay again.

Difficult to find! Instructions could be clearer, suggest adding Catterick to 'take the first exist (A6055)' - Catterick! and mentioning the petrol station just before. No visible Travel lodge sign from the road, empty building in front of it too, only found it by chance, deciding to turn round on the car park to go back to the petrol station to enquire. (Sat nav doesn't recognise postcode) That said - were greeted by Chris on reception, lovely friendly chap, booked in efficiently and quickly. Lovely clean room, i'm a light sleeper but noise of the road not a problem unless the window was open. Cleaning lady friendly too. Had a problem with the hot water tap, couldn't turn it off after a shower, did eventually but dare n't use it the next day. Will certainly stay again, great base, reasonable rate for Easter break.

My recent stay was pleasantly surprising. Despite its basic amenities, it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Located near the A1, I was initially concerned about noise, but to my delight, the hotel was remarkably quiet. The room was clean, and the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. The young lady, Caitlin, at the reception desk, was friendly and helpful. It was overall a great stay. Highly recommended!

Another excellent overnight at Skeeby. Lovely welcome, really clean and despite being so close to A1M, quiet. Bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable bed. Cheery farewell from Chris in the morning. No cafe/restaurant at this Travelodge. We enjoyed excellent evening meal at the Shoulder of Mutton in Middleton Tyas and, as we were heading up the A66, breakfast at nearby Mainsgill Farm. All round 5*. One suggestion to Travelodge management - could you reinstate the roadside sign?

The room was warm and welcoming with a lovely outlook over fields and hills in the distance The bed was very comfortable The shower was strong and refreshing The member of staff on arrival was very good with advice re the room The male member of staff on exit wished me a good day and we had a chat about various things re the weather, news and recent football matches All in all a very pleasant stay
