A friend and I vacationed at cocogrove resort from May 19-23. It was the best vacation experience we shared in the past three years. The resort is huge and beautiful with gorgeous lush tropical trees spread throughout the 8 hectars. The staff were very friendly and helpful answering questions and making excellent suggestions and recommendation from food choices to local tourist sites to visit. The food was awesome and the Spectacular Buffet dinner and show. The performers were excellent dancers and talented singers. The stroll through the Temple Spa did it for me. The Bali statues, beautiful carvings and spiritual atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. I've contacted friends I know who are thinking of visiting the philippines.Cocogrove resort on Siquijor is a must vacation experience.

The best value for money on a beautiful white fine sand beach in the Philippines. Plenty of quality places to eat within easy walking distance. Cool beachfront cafes with cheap ice cold beer. Crystal clear warm water to enjoy a swim all year round. Lots of interesting places to visit on a local tricycle. Rooms big and comfortable beds. Free filtered water. Great spa pool, children’s pool and swimming pool. Very helpful and cheerful staff. A perfect place to get away from the huge crowds in El Nido. Coron, Bohol and Boracay in particular. As a travel and tour operator for over 30 years, now retired, this is up there with the ideal family run resorts. Not too big and impersonal. Get there now as it will grow and be ruined by the huge crowds one day.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Infinity Sands. We also visited their sister hotel, Infinity Heights, which I have reviewed separately. There were a few issues at this hotel, some of which were out of the hotels control. Others involve staff training suggestions. However, before I start, this place deserves the 5 Star rating I have given it. The wonderful staff, who tried so hard to make our stay pleasant, more than made up for any areas of concern. Firstly the room we had was spotlessly clean, large with a wonderfully comfortable King Size Double Bed. Tasteful furnishings. Lovely hot shower. For the price point it was exceptionally good value. We experienced both dinner and breakfast at the sea front restaurant. Each time the tables were spotlessly clean and set out nicely prior to our arrival. The breakfast is very good value at just less than 300 pesos including filtered coffee. Recommended. Service staff were polite, professional and very attentive. As a training issue, maybe they should pay a little more attention to their listening skills so that they deliver what a customer actually requests. I mean this as a constructive suggestion. Not a criticism. For example when ordering fried eggs for breakfast and then ( on one occasion) to receive omelettes , is not really appropriate. The chefs are clearly very talented and spend time with lovely dinner presentations but the food needs to be hot. Dinner, as husband and wife, in my view, means that main courses should be served together not 15 minutes apart. My wife has finished her, barely warm, spaghetti dish, before my main course even arrived. Not the best of situations but, having owned and operated restaurants myself in The Philippines, I know the value of staff training, particularly as regards multi tasking and timing of dish preparations. My main course was superb. Hot and very well presented. My last recommendation to the hotel management is to sit down and discuss with the bar next door, as regards their playing of late music late into the evening. It is supposed to finish at 10pm but on our second night went on until 11.30pm, albeit at a slightly lower volume. Overall this place is 5 Star for value, location and their wonderful and hard working staff.

Ci è un ristorante che serve cibo e birra. Se volete opzioni, tuttavia, altri resort sono a piedi e accessibili lungo la spiaggia. L'isola è super pratico e facile da accedere in scooter, noleggio 400 peso al giorno, direttamente all'hotel. Per la vostra arrivo il trasporto a Tubod è 350 p in triciclo dal porto a 20 min. Bungalow # 1 è sicuramente il migliore nel resort, proprio davanti al bellissimo giardino di palme con vista sulla spiaggia e sull'acqua. La grande terrazza con splendidi sedili di cestini e due tavoli invita a sognare - dal bagno nel mare. Purtroppo, in questo caso, è raramente possibile nuotare, anche in caso di inondazioni. Una camera spaziale con letto matrimoniale grande, capacità di polverizzazione sufficiente per il bagaglio, aria condizionata e ventilatore, finestra larga e porta scivolata. Una cucina con frigorifero e cucina d'acqua; tazze, bicchieri, acqua, caffè e tè sono pronti. La doccia è abbastanza grande, l'acqua calda viene immediatamente. A mancanza di alternative migliori, mangiamo quasi sempre qui. La piccola selezione di cibo è buona e conveniente. Purtroppo il servizio è completamente diverso, a seconda delle donne. Spesso ci vuole abbastanza tempo per essere osservato, a volte il comando è arrivato solo su richiesta. Un po' di agitazione è stata particolarmente intensa una serata in cui una nota del proprietario svedese ha gridato diffuso la disordine nel vicino bacino di Bungalow. La sera, c'era un'altra operazione di polizia che l'ha portata via con l'ambulanza. Prezzo / prestazione era buono, per un ”Molto buono” purtroppo non basta a causa del rumore, la mancanza di servizio e la mancanza di nuoto. Wi-Fi disponibile nella zona ristorante.

E' la terza volta che sono rimasto qui, convenientemente situato a pochi chilometri da Siquijor, Dumanhog è bello e tranquillo per la notte, il personale è amichevole e tutti parlano inglese se non si può parlare Bisaya o Tagalog, Ci piace per la sua posizione centrale per i nostri amici e la famiglia sull'isola, se avete bisogno di aiuto per noleggiare una moto o ottenere un taxi il personale sarà in grado di aiutarvi, abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno e intende tornare.
