La stanza era grande, la vista (oceano) era la migliore che abbia mai avuto da una stanza d'albergo. Avevamo la stanza più vicina al ristorante e più vicina alla spiaggia. Era sorprendente. Ci era un patio molto confortevole davanti o la nostra stanza. Le camere sono state costruite in gruppi di 2 o 3 camere per edificio. Il ristorante era solo a 20 secondi di cammino e molto buono. Il nostro primo giorno ho cercato di ordinare bacon e uova, ma non avevano bacon. Hanno avuto una notte, così potevo ordinarlo la mattina dopo. Il personale era molto amichevole e molto utile. La piscina è stata costruita su 3 livelli e molto bello. Il resort è da solo alla fine di una corta roccia fuori dalla strada principale. Il prezzo era terribile. Se c'è un incidente, è che è necessario prendere un traghetto da Dumaguete (un'ora) per arrivare a Siquior e poi è circa 25 minuti di auto al resort.

We are a small, cozy, and quiet beach resort close to cafés, restaurants, ATMs, dive shops. There is also kite surfing and sky diving options in the area. Our restaurant by the sea is open 7am-10pm. Siquijor Island offers good beaches, waterfalls, caves, world-class diving and snorkeling, and is known as a safe, family-friendly, and hospitable place. The atmosphere is still laid back and not too crowded. Our beach is not great for swimming, but there are popular swimming beaches nearby and around the island. Our beach sunset view is often spectacular. We are a non-smoking property with a small designated smoking area. We are only 15 minutes from Siquijor Town and 45 minutes from Larena Town. Tricycles/taxis are readily available at the ferry terminals. We offer pick up for a fee. For the pick up service please call 1-2 days in advance to arrange and call again when boarding the ferry to reconfirm the time. Check-in from 3pm and check-out by 11am. Free cancellation until 7 days before arrival. December-June is high season. The July-November season is also popular and a little cooler with rain and wind at times. Plastic bags are banned on the island and we minimise single use plastics. We use low energy solutions and have our own clean and safe groundwater source. We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Infinity Sands. We also visited their sister hotel, Infinity Heights, which I have reviewed separately. There were a few issues at this hotel, some of which were out of the hotels control. Others involve staff training suggestions. However, before I start, this place deserves the 5 Star rating I have given it. The wonderful staff, who tried so hard to make our stay pleasant, more than made up for any areas of concern. Firstly the room we had was spotlessly clean, large with a wonderfully comfortable King Size Double Bed. Tasteful furnishings. Lovely hot shower. For the price point it was exceptionally good value. We experienced both dinner and breakfast at the sea front restaurant. Each time the tables were spotlessly clean and set out nicely prior to our arrival. The breakfast is very good value at just less than 300 pesos including filtered coffee. Recommended. Service staff were polite, professional and very attentive. As a training issue, maybe they should pay a little more attention to their listening skills so that they deliver what a customer actually requests. I mean this as a constructive suggestion. Not a criticism. For example when ordering fried eggs for breakfast and then ( on one occasion) to receive omelettes , is not really appropriate. The chefs are clearly very talented and spend time with lovely dinner presentations but the food needs to be hot. Dinner, as husband and wife, in my view, means that main courses should be served together not 15 minutes apart. My wife has finished her, barely warm, spaghetti dish, before my main course even arrived. Not the best of situations but, having owned and operated restaurants myself in The Philippines, I know the value of staff training, particularly as regards multi tasking and timing of dish preparations. My main course was superb. Hot and very well presented. My last recommendation to the hotel management is to sit down and discuss with the bar next door, as regards their playing of late music late into the evening. It is supposed to finish at 10pm but on our second night went on until 11.30pm, albeit at a slightly lower volume. Overall this place is 5 Star for value, location and their wonderful and hard working staff.

A friend and I vacationed at cocogrove resort from May 19-23. It was the best vacation experience we shared in the past three years. The resort is huge and beautiful with gorgeous lush tropical trees spread throughout the 8 hectars. The staff were very friendly and helpful answering questions and making excellent suggestions and recommendation from food choices to local tourist sites to visit. The food was awesome and the Spectacular Buffet dinner and show. The performers were excellent dancers and talented singers. The stroll through the Temple Spa did it for me. The Bali statues, beautiful carvings and spiritual atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. I've contacted friends I know who are thinking of visiting the philippines.Cocogrove resort on Siquijor is a must vacation experience.
