Worst business trip ever! The room (No. 4) was quite spacious and the bathroom is huge. There is a shower with curtain, but you can leave it open due to the size of bathroom. The sink was blocked and it took ages for the water to run down. The room has the charme of a retirement home with all the things you can arrange. Good when you come with a handicap, but far away from stylish. Ok for one night, when you have to stay in the area. But, DO NOT STAY THERE AS SINGLE FEMALE TRAVELER! When we arrived at around 10pm the door of the hotel was open. We got a code, but it was not needed as simply ANYBODY could enter the premises. There is no reception. The key for the room was in a key safe. But the code was already entered. So again ANYBODY could have taken the key to make a duplicate or enter the room. I never felt that unsafe staying in a hotel in Europe ever. I cannot say anything about breakfast as I left very early and did not get it.

What a lovely hotel! Historic building. Updated rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staf. Beautiful property in a great country setting. My only complaint is that it is not super convenient if you don’t have a car. But a wonderful hotel nonetheless!

Ik was hier voor 1 nacht. Bij het toekomen ‘s avonds was de mevrouw aan de receptie zeer vriendelijk. Ze ging mee tot aan de kamer om alles uit te leggen. De kamer was heel verzorgd en alles was netjes gepoetst. De badkamer was een grote teleurstelling. De douche was precies zoals in een rusthuis zonder douchebak en met een gordijntje. Dit vond ik spijtig voor een hotel en voor die prijs. Het bed was redelijk hard maar dat is voor iedereen anders. Bij het ontbijt was er spek, maar zonder eieren. Geen vers brood, maar wel gebakken hotelbroodjes. Geen verse streekproducten. We wilden zwemmen maar dat kon niet want het zwembad was in onderhoud: filters kuisen en zo… Er was niemand aanwezig aan de receptie om iets aan te vragen. In het algemeen ben ik wel tevreden maar vind het spijtig voor die prijs dat deze zaken niet helemaal in orde waren.
