this is a unique spot, you can arrive at resort by the resort boat what is very nice. the resort have cosy environment and even they were completely sold out you were no seeing so many persons. the beach is amazing and you can choose your own villa with private pool. the staff is very professional and always there to support you. they some social sustainability activities like planting trees or visit local primary and kindergarten school and give some gifts. they supporting the implementation of system for the children to have water to drink in the school. the involvement of all staff in community is amazing.

Generally it was a pleasant experience of staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great, breakfast was good and the room was spacious and quite cozy. There were some minor issues like quite old and worn towels, some misunderstandings with transfer to the pier, etc. The restaurant was also pretty good, but it’s noticeably overpriced (and that’s why wasn’t popular among the hotel’s guests). It’s recommended to go to a restaurant or a bar at one of the neighbor hotels, where there is life music, fireworks, fire shows and also nice local and western food at way more affordable price. As for the beach, it’s clean and shallow, with white sand, however it was windy most of the time we spent on the island. I’d recommend to walk for about 15-20 minutes to the opposite shore of the island (Lazy Beach - see the photo) and enjoy calm and very clean sea, with yellow sand and lovely beach restaurant/bar. Lazy Beach is totally free of charge (no sun-beds or umbrellas there however you can find enough shade under the big threes at the beach).

Bella stanza con un grande bagno con tubo, semi-alloggi, un bel resort con un sacco di bellissimi letti di giorno, ma dovrebbero avere dei camerieri che si rivolgono per ordinare cibo e bevande, che sarebbe perfetto. Il ristorante decente, ma è morto la sera perché non si preoccupano di far il bar con candele o musica e quindi tutti vanno a ristoranti e bar vicino invece. La spiaggia è molto bello in questa zona e lasciano tutto naturale.

Grandi posti se vuoi un tranquillo posto tranquillo per soggiornare in città di Sihanouk, c'è un fiume vicino al resort così suggerisco di prenotare la stanza aria vista del fiume di voler più privacy, c'è un ristorante con un grande menu , il personale è gentile e rispettoso, la stanza è molto pulita, c'è la possibilità di ventilare e acc

Quaranta secondi a piedi sulla spiaggia, più una piscina riscaldata fuori dalla vostra stanza, un accogliente grazioso, birra fredda e cibo bello. E a buon mercato, ho menzionato CHEAP. GRATUITO HOTEL.

We were unfortunate to travel during low season, which in Koh Rong means 99% rain everyday, by conversations with locals they are fully aware of this yet all bookings and activities are business as usual but cannot be enjoyed, such as snorkling, BBQ boat etc. because of the weather we were stuck in the hotel 90% of the time, there is NO TV (it does say in room amenities, I read too late) so just be aware, specially if travelling with little ones. The pool is not an option because of thunder and lighting. It costs 15USD to get to the hotel from the pier. There is no ATM on the island only one stall that lets you use your card to pay the local then they give you the money, this is charged at 8% 😡 This is important because for lack of internet connection you cant always use card to pay at restaurant for your lunches and dinner, also when you can, there is a 3% fee to do so. All activities must also be paid in USD but old rugged bills are not accepted even if they have been given to you by other traders ib the island or if the bills got a bit wet in the rain, which was a frequent problem.So come with plenty of new dollars or you'll find yourself stuck with little options. the night before check out, we asked the staff to please let the ferry company know we would be taking the 9:30am ferry to Sihakouville (as instructed by the ferry company). We booked a 9:00am return trip to the pier as recommended. However as we arrived the ferry was leaving, at 9:15. We were not the only ones left behind. Some people had a flight to catch later that day and were made to pay another 17USD per person as according to them it was ”impossible” to fit them into one of the almost-empty-boats of one of the other many ferry companies, because they dont work together, some families payed up to 70USD to not miss their flight despite it not being their fault. The hotel was standard, for a beach hotel, nice huts, the beds were clean and comfortable and the highlight was definitely the food at the restaurant, over the 4 days, we tried many dishes all of them delicious. I can imagine during sunny season it must be a beautiful location and a beautiful hotel. saying this, I already thought it was overpriced for low season compared to similar hotels in Thailand and Bali, so for me the price you would pay in high season I would not consider it, specially given the whole experience with the ferry and USDs. ☹️

La stanza è pulita e ha spazio grande. Il campus esterno è anche grande con grandi parcheggi, mentre la piscina non è così interessante.
