"I am a solo biker doing shift work in the next country so I book resorts and suites on the weekends, Le Grandeur stands out as my favorite location in Johor because it is very exclusive location and away from the crowds. Because it is situated in nature the resort has a very temperate climate, on my day of arrival it was foggy after the rain and it really felt cooler than Cameron Highlands using natural ventilation. You will barely need the air con in the room and just set it 30 degrees and maximum fan for circulation will do. The service standards are very high, polite and efficient to all nationalities of guests and feel very welcome when the front desk agents understand I want to be a little cautious and quiet around people. I will definitely be back for more staycations!"

"We headed to R&F link bridge from CIQ-City Square mall right after we were informed check-in is available around 2pm+.  We were quite disappointed with the long walk with breakage of the link bridge due to RTS construction works ongoing. The long climbs of stairs down then up to the continuation link bridge is rather a hassle especially for guest who carries luggage as we have seen along the way. Luckily we only carried light backpack as we only stay for one night. The procedure of checking in to R&F Princess Cove is rather simple by following a step-by-step instruction via WhatsApp. The unit assigned to us is at B1-1 Block on the 33rd floor. It was right after the rain stopped when we reached. There is a broken-handle window along the corridor hence not properly closed.  The heavy rain has actually poured onto the corridor flooring and we almost slipped as we didn’t see the patch of water. The unit assigned to us was according to our request (away from lift, non-smoking & high floor).  The unit we should say, is well maintained, clean and really nice!!! The only flaw is that the seaview is not as expected (only a slant opening seaview perhaps). The only bedroom ceiling light cum fan is great. However, the bedroom entrance downlight electrical point is tied to the ceiling light cum fan which the entrance downlight can’t be switched off when the fan is in operation during sleep….anyway, we turned on the aircon thereafter in order not to be affected by the glaring bedroom entrance downlight. Even there are 2 pillows each, they are rather too soft and we couldn’t sleep well.  Apart from the above, we enjoyed very much at the Living and Kitchen areas where we watched TV drama & having our meals. The next morning while heading out to walk around the premises, a pale stale stink smell from the rubbish chute on our level can be smelt while waiting for the lift to go down…… The exterior environment of R&F Princess Cove (phase 2) is comfortable especially on the 8th floor where gardens, swimming pool, gym, viewing deck, jogging track and link bridge to R&F mall are resided. One thing to praise is that R&F Princess Cove has friendly, nice security guards and staffs who have communicated via WhatsApp, thumbsup!  Overall we think it is good to stay provided the CIQ to R&F Princess Cove link bridge is complete."

"Apprezzo la receptionista Miss Kisha & Mr Shahid per aver fatto del mio viaggio di compleanno uno memorabile, mi aiutano a cambiare la mia stanza da gemelli deluxe a deluxe King perché ho fatto un errore durante la mia prenotazione. È un bellissimo hotel e accogliente personale.La stanza era pulita e spaziosa. Molti negozi, cibo e massaggi sono a pochi passi e vi è un mercato settimanale di domenica proprio accanto all'hotel. È solo una 15 minuti di auto a piedi verso la metà della valle di Southkey . Sarei sicuramente tornato e rimasto qui di nuovo"

"Stayed for a night here due to car workshop in the nearby area to avoid Weekend custom jam. Decent hotel for a night stay, However shower drain clog. Causing a flood in the bathroom during shower. Water heater doesn’t seem to be working well. Mostly cold water all the way. Bedsheet / Pillow there is a smelly smell. Minor stain here and there. With the price paid, can’t seem to expect much. Plus point, hotel parking."

"Simple room with instant heater and individual aircon. Shower gel and shampoo provided. Water(hot and cold) dispenser available at the lift lobby. Within walking distance to places eg massage, F&B and shops. There are rooms that are without window, no issue to us."

"Ogni volta che siamo tornati in questo hotel abbiamo avuto un'esperienza fantastica. Molto comodo perché vicino al CIQ e ai centri commerciali. Il personale è molto cordiale e ho apprezzato molto la colazione a buffet, con così tanta varietà di cibo."

"Il condizionamento della camera non funzionava. È stato assicurato il cambiamento della camera solo il giorno dopo, ma data la sera solo n Duty Mgr Ivan era estremamente freddo. Abbiamo ricevuto il complimentare 2 giorni di colazione che non era soddisfacente. La macchina del caffè era dando fuori Americano piuttosto acquatico n informiamo il personale tat n non hanno preso alcuna azione. Noi anche realizziamo che questo hotel controlla automaticamente de aircon a una temperatura più alta dopo le 7 pm ogni notte lasciando la nostra camera calda. Entrambe le notti erano disastrose. Il vento dell'aria condizionata è polvere, perché ha aggravato il mio asma. Ci hanno ordinato di aggiornare la stanza dei re in quanto solo una stanza dei re e una stanza doppia possono avere camere interconnesse. Questo potrebbe essere dettagliato in Trip.com non avremmo prenotato questo hotel. Se non si fa nulla per compensare il mio soggiorno, lo metto nei social media."

"Host YQYH sent Whatsapp messages 3-4 days in advance to let us know the check-in information. They have been kind. Amenities are provided. Cleanliness can be improved though. For travellers walking from JBCC to R&F, do note that there is a little construction of the overhead bridge and needed to go down and up again to reach there. We stayed in Phase 2 which needed a bit of walking compared to phase 2 buildings. Both myself and the boys slept throughout the night but not my husband. The beds are the firm type. Overall, the experience was okay for me."
