The hotel has plenty of promise but it didn't really meet my expectations I chose the hotel specifically for its underground parking as it's quite some way out of the city centre, and so not somewhere I'd recommend if you didn't have car. When I got there I was told the underground parking was closed for maintenance, and I could park on the street, which at that time of day was impossible. It was only when I pushed the issue they said I could park in the little open air car park at the rear, which was still 15 EUR per day. The room they allocated me had a loud whining noise coming from the bathroom, and would have prevented me sleeping, and when I went to ask for a new room they didn't seem to believe me but then took ages to allocate me a new room. No idea why. One of the nice features of the hotel is if you choose to not have your room cleaned you get a token for a free drink at the bar. The first time I went to claim my drink the bar was closed as they were checking in lots of people, so can only assume were short staffed. The next night there seemed to be a single girl manning both the bar and the front desk and she couldn't cope (not her fault) so I just gave my token to a random guy as I wasn't prepared to wait so long for a free beer. On the positive side they were really helpful when I was stupid enough to drop a bottle of beer in the car park when unpacking my car, and they cleaned it up for me without any fuss. I would recommend staying as close to the centre of the hotel as I was at the far end (315) and the WiFi was very poor, and so had to tether my laptop to my phone. One really nice touch was the room had a bluetooth soundbar so you could play your music on your phone in the room. This was a really nice touch. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I probably would not stay there again, and definitely not if I didn't have a car.

UUtente ospiteWe had googled our way to the fact that the Hilton Mainz has a very good location right down to the Rhine and you can purchase access to the hotel's ”Executive Lounge”. We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were quickly and efficiently checked in by Mrs. Blanco Flores, who upgraded us to a room with a view of the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

Towels can be replaced as they are thin, hard and old. Restaurant: Breakfast Ok - price debatable Dinner not much variety, long wait (+35 minutes for a cheeseburger and the restaurant was almost empty), service could be better. Just one server Room service: No If you are tight on budget this place works. If you are in town for business for +5 days might want to consider other options with variety of services and customer oriented.

We were there in September this year for 5 days, Given our food at night as we were booked for evening meal. This hotel was not prepared for any of this never mind 50 guests, The food served to us was obviously brought in cooked and was inedible. Lovely for one night as a stop over but living out of a suitcase as no wardrobes or drawers. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate with nothing near. As we were on a tours during the day we did not have transport to go out at night. Therefore very boring. As most of the tour party were older people we were unable to walk down to the town which was about a half hour for someone who is able bodied. Drink sold in cans. One day we came back and ordered a cup of coffee and they had run out. Very disappointed. Not fully the hotels fault but our coach tours is liable to give us what we were promised.

UUtente ospiteC'è un fermo di autobus proprio davanti all'hotel e all'altra parte. Era circa due fermate con metà salsa, quindi è facile spostare il vettore. Ci vuole circa 7 minuti a piedi. La stanza era pulita e accurata ogni giorno, quindi mi sentivo bene quando sono tornato.
Usai una camera a tre persone, ma era un letto piccolo, ma sono venuto a riposare confortevolmente con un letto privato.

Lluan1990I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 pm, and had sent an email in advance to let them know I will be arriving before official check-in time. My email was literally answered within minutes, and I was happy to find out that they had a room ready for me when I got to the hotel. The reception was busy, so I had to wait for a while as one party was checking in and another checking out, but when it became my turn, the friendly receptionist had me checked in within minutes. My room on the second floor was very nice for a three star hotel, and I might even go as far as to say that the room met four star standards. It was probably recently renovated, as it felt very fresh and modern and was in impeccable condition. It was not very large, but came with a balcony and a view of the park outside the hotel. There was a desk&chair, a closet, a safe and good A/C, but no water bottle, no fridge and no sitting area. Wifi was easy to use and fast, however, I believe Youtube was banned, because all other websites worked fine but I was not able to access Youtube at all. That felt a bit strange. The queen bed, although too soft for my taste, was otherwise fine for one person although the pillow was flimsy and I had to request another one, which was gladly brought up to my room. There were sockets by the bed, so charging your devices overnight was easy. The bathroom was also clean and fresh and felt recently renovated. The walk-in shower came with excellent water pressure. There was enough room for toiletries etc by the sink, however the bath towel was extremely small. Amenities only included soap, shampoo and shower gel. No conditioner or body lotion. These came in wall-mounted containers, of which I am not a fan because I don’t find them particularly hygienic. I wish hotels saved money in other ways and not by abandoning single-use toiletries. The hotel serves breakfast in the ground floor breakfast room from 6:30 to 10:30, and from 7 to 12 on weekends. My rate did not include breakfast, but I popped in the first morning to see the spread. It was definitely not worth the price (20.50 EUR), so my suggestioon would be to buy something at the supermarket a block away or to have breakfast in a nearby café. I had a late flight out, and was informed that they could extend my check-out until 12:30 pm at no charge, and beyond that they offered a late check-out at 4 pm for 19 EUR. It was a bargain and I was happy to take up on the offer. The hotel is located two minutes from the main railway station, and I walked to all the sights and restaurants in the city centre area. The Markt and Dom (cathedral) is about a 15 min walk from the hotel. I found the location excellent and will be sure to stay here again if my travels take me to Mainz in the future.

UUtente ospiteOttimo lavoro e buon colazione la stanza è pulita e confortevole solo mezza un commento sui canali TV non c'è nessun canale inglese Spero che la gestione dell'hotel si accorga di aggiungere canali inglese vicino che è un supermercato turco e anche altri 2 grandi supermercati molto vicini all'hotel a circa 10 m di distanza Ristorante italiano e tedesco La stazione di autobus è a circa 200 m di distanza dal centro della città e la stazione principale

The bathroom provided all the necessary amenities. The staff was generally very helpful and professional, pleasantly so. Altogether a very positive experience.

Hotel in linea con gli eccellenti standard B&B. Camere nello standard B&B ma pulite, con arredi nuovi, ben attrezzate, bagno piccolo ma efficiente, parcheggio sufficiente, personale molto gentile, colazione ottima. Il tutto a prezzi ottimi per la qualità. Manca la safety box in camera come in tutti i B&B che ho visitato. Parcheggio gratuito sufficiente come posti. Comodo da autostrada. Un pò fuori dalla città ma bisogna considerare che andare in centro richiede pochi minuti. Ottima colazione. Pulizia eccellente.

UUtente ospiteGut zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof erreichbar - Lage in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet (Neustadt) – Supermärkte und Bäcker in der Nähe – zur Innenstadt und zum Rhein ca. 15 Minuten – sehr angenehm: der Zuschnitt des Zimmers, quadratisch mit angenehmen Wohngefühl - Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr bequeme Matratze und guter TV – Bad mit Handtüchern, Duschgel und Seife sehr sauber; Fön vorhanden – Internet meist stabil – Personal ist sehr freundlich – Einchecken und Auschecken rasch und unkompliziert – bei meinem Buchungspreis ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis – gerne wieder!
