Nestled deep in the tranquil embrace of China’s Snow Valley, the inn is located in Dongsheng Forest Farm of Shanhetun Forestry Bureau, Wuchang City. It stands across Yangcao Mountain from Snow Town, making it an ideal haven for travelers hiking through this icy wonderland. Unspoiled by excessive commercialization, it preserves the most authentic simplicity of Northeast China’s snow country. In winter, Longzhao Gou is draped in a silver blanket, with snow-covered forests stretching into a serene scroll under the clear sky. Throw open the window, and you’ll be greeted by the crisp snow breeze, while the soft rustle of snow falling from pine branches fills your ears—every view feels like a scene from a winter poem, brimming with the purity and poetry of an untouched snowy landscape.
The inn’s 15 guest rooms exude the genuine warmth of Northeast China. Characteristic heated kang beds chase away the winter chill, with cozy private two-person rooms and lively four-person rooms catering to different travel needs. The on-site restaurant is filled with the rich aroma of Northeast Chinese home-style cooking—crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside sweet and sour pork (guobaorou) and authentic farm-style dishes let you savor the full flavor of the region in every bite. For winter fun, you can immerse yourself in the vibrancy of the season: race across the snow on a snowmobile, enjoy a leisurely ride on a horse-drawn sleigh, or laugh through the excitement of snow tubing.
Nearby attractions are easily accessible. Shuangyan Ski Resort, just over 500 meters away, lets you experience the thrill of gliding across the snow. Changqing Forest Farm and the Snow Valley Changqing Station of Mangniu River Rafting are also close by, allowing you to easily explore the diverse charms of Snow Valley.
What truly touches the heart is the inn’s warm, family-like service. The 24-hour front desk is always ready to assist, offering free snow clamps and snow gaiters to help you enjoy your time in the snow. The innkeepers will light a bonfire to brighten the cold night and join you for a sing-along. Even if there’s a language barrier, they’ll patiently bridge the gap—and will even drive to help retrieve lost items. This thoughtfulness and sincerity let every traveler in the bitter cold find the ultimate warmth, turning their Snow Valley journey into an experience filled with the comfort of home.
"We are so happy with our stay here! The host family is incredibly kind, friendly, and caring. They took excellent care of us, even providing proper attire and shoes for the heavy winter weather. They generously allowed us to use the kitchen and pick vegetables, onions, and eggs at no extra cost.
We enjoyed walking through the charming village as the owner personally assisted and guided us. We also had so much fun playing tube sliding right in front of the house, fishing in the frozen river, and exploring beautiful spots for sightseeing and play. The hosts even drove us to various places without charging anything, making us feel truly at home.
Our 4-day, 3-night stay was so lovely and comfortable that we left with happy tears, already wishing to return. This was the best stay I’ve ever experienced, and I hope to come back soon with my family and friends. Thank you so much for everything!"
