The WoodVista Cottages are situated in a little offbeat village - Bakhog - in the Theog District in Shimla, Himachal. It is a serene location tucked away from the hubbubs and the rush of the now very commercial city of Shimla. Being around 25 kilometers from the Shimla, the approach involves a bit of an off road drive (approximately 20 minutes from the main highway) - but something easily manageable in any vehicle - even if you drive a sedan. For your stay, they have the option of 7-8 cottages, each built using specific types of wood and aptly named as well - the cottages have had their fair share of hosting several celebrities too! Taking about fun - they have something to keep your family members engaged - like cycling, Badminton and even a snooker table! The location, food, and all other services are fantastic. The staffs are so cooperative and polite. I met Sarthak, Deepsikha and Sukesh they were so humble and cooperative just loved my stay there.

Best place to relax and unwind. Taj theog has all the amenities that makes you relax and create memories of a lifetime. It was my second visit within last 3 months and it was perfect as always. Our family wanted to celebrate birthday of our 6yr old kid , and informed the hotel in advance about the special day. Housekeeping staff Sheetal,Budhi,Sunita and MIshal decorated our room beautifully with balloons and pictures.Our check in was very well managed by Mr. sachin from the front desk and our room was upgraded to a villa ( Thanks to the GM Sanket ), with a beautiful view of the Himalayan Range. Since we were with kids, our main concern was food that was well managed by MR. bhandari and his team. A big shout out and thanks to MR. Bhandari for arranging a special cake cutting celebration at PATIALA room to make our Birthday boy special. Chef Shahrukh was always available to know about our food preferences. Breakfast spread was nice and well served by Ashok, Deepak,Neeraj and Preeti at the restaurant. Highlight point of the hotel: Indoor Pool , jacuzzi and food quality. Minus point : Quite a drive from delhi or shimla airport. A special mention to GM Sanket chugh under whose guidance the team is performing well .

Great food, superb views from room as well as the lawn, friendly and humble staff.. this place has got very good vibes, so serene and calm almost like meditative feeling... we totally loved our stay, the bonfire with an awesome view. But it will be best in summer if have the yoga session in the lawn.. Anyone who loves hills and nature and wants to be away from the chaos and fast city life, Flag House Resort is a must visit place!!
