Truly a heritage and well preserved property. Perfect blend of comfort and amongst nature, had a great time, well within walking distance of Simla mall yet far enough to be peaceful . Walk is beautiful and scenic. Staff is polite and ready to help. Food is freshly prepared , as per your choice, very yummy specially barbecue. Chicken preparations were too yum. Totally enjoyed our stay. Owners Rajan and Monisha have kept the whole house just like they are living in there. Very well kept 👍we felt as if we live in Simla 🤗 Will definitely return.

Glen View is a world class luxury Heritage Homestay indeed! Coming from South Bombay with our English Cocker Spaniel our stay was nothing short of blissful. The property is absolutely royal and so perfectly maintained! The owners have thoughtfully designed and planned everything to the finest details that matter! I felt right at home from the moment our car entered the pristine compound adorned with horticulturist manicured flower beds and flower pots of fragrant native flowers! Oh the subtle sophistication of golden lights, the chandeliers, the Persian carpets ! The immaculate solid wooden dresser thoughtfully placed in the dressing area outside the gorgeous bathroom is so respectful to ones skin care, makeup and grooming routine. The bathroom was spotless from corner to corner. I didn't even miss my bedsheets at home as Glen View has linen that's the perfect balance of softness and thread count apart from from being snow white! The food is perfection and me being a quality coffee lover, the cold coffee I relished everyday would put any Starbucks coffee to shame.Since we often vacationed with our parents at The Taj in the 90s and 2000s we are so used to high quality clean ingredient biotique products we were so happy to see our favourites stacked in the bathroom! The towel quality provided is so lush apart from being snow white, everything is for old money high net worth individuals who truly value and are accustomed to the finer things in life. The best thing is also the wonderful heating systems installed in such a thoughtful way that whether you're getting into bed at night, right from the warmth of the electric blanket, to the bedroom corner safely designed radiators and to the after shower dressing area warm air blower, everything has been well planned and assigned for the guests right down the finest details.Apart from cleanliness and housekeeping standards akin to the highest quality 5 star chain hotels in the country, they have ensured the finest service regarding the cutlery and crockery too as it's smooth, solid and has a classic elegant design that doesn't cut one's hands... The food is delicious and meals are always prepared on time using the freshest ingredients...The crockery is pre heated like any top 5 star hotel chain does...We didn't even miss our favourite Heinz ketchup at breakfast as that's what they serve. By far this was one of the best vacations which we have had as this was also our honeymoon! Will surely be coming back here every year atleast.

Good location, food was excellent and superb staff behaviour. Overall excellent experience of stay with glen view. Room heater were provided. Rooms were near and clean. Located near Mall road. Can't think of any coms.

Not seen a beautiful property it’s serenity old world charm reminds me of my own house . It felt as if I’m entering my home with His Masters Voice turn table Radoi seeing machine .. not to mention the hospitality .. the cleanest air bnb with most comfortable pillows & mattress that takes to a dream land .. the staff & absolutely home like food are incomparable Monisha I hv so much to say but I think space is less 😍kudos to each & every minutest detail Loved every bit of it .👏👏💕

They say that Nostalgia is a liar; well in that case; the experience that one gets @ Glen View Heritage at the forest hill road in Shimla is nothing short of a fairy tale! I Had the opportunity of staying with my family @ Glen View Heritage in Shimla over the past few days! The experience has been nothing short of exhilarating for us as a family that has lived our yesteryears in this town. While the Vohra family opens out their heritage home which happens to be one of the oldest yet well maintained structures in Shimla dating as far back as 1859; they have painstakingly renovated every nook and corner to offer the best in opulence and comfort that the industry yearns to offer; yet they’ve taken extra care to retain the grandeur of an era gone by. This for sure isn’t just another well curated home; it’s a genuine experience and it comes from passion and a true labour of love. The visual experience comes well matched with a very homely yet professional service staff that leaves no stone unturned in attending to every little need of the guest and the f&b is served with extra care taken for all dietary needs ensuring that one doesn’t miss home cooking yet feel pampered throughout one’s stay. The location is such on the forest hill road that while special permits ensure that the guest gets to land up right at the property smoothly; there is no traffic in sight within this VIP zone and the place is as green as one has seen Shimla say 40 years back. It’s a VIP zone with high security which comes by default as your neighbours are of the likes of the top Govt officials and their families including the Chief Minister of the State of Himachal Pradesh. This address, the quality of the home & the experience is second to none and for people that are keen to experience life in all its grandeur and the opulence of an era gone by; you don’t need to think twice- Glen View Heritage is the address to be at if planning a trip to Shimla; a place that remains the Queen of hill stations in the Subcontinent! Kudos to the hosts for coming up with an experience that not only takes one back in time; it does so with style that’s at par with the best in the industry; Worldwide!

The Glen view Heritage Homestay is indeed a home away from home...such a warm, cozy, wonderful place amidst the surrounding beauty...extremely comfortable and well spacedout place. ..The house comes with 2 suites and 2 deluxe rooms with attached bathrooms, a common room, dining room an outside sitting and a place for barbecue and bonfire...it is extremely well maintained and clean...the staff is very accommodating and always there to help you out with anything you want..The owners were so courteous to even make their place wheelchair accessible for us ..really thankful for that..overall we had a memorable stay and would be happy to be back again🙂
