Laika Hotel (Shenzhen Dongmen&Hubei Subway Station)

Had a great stay! A lovely hotel, great staff who were very helpful and the room was very clean and spacious 😊

Service was great and so was facilities. They don’t have non smoking rooms but that was the only drawback.

The front office staff is very helpful and accommodating. They will try their best to help as much as they can. The other staff also very friendly. Will definitely stay at this place again.

The hotel’s location is quite strategic, as it’s close to Dongmen Street. However, the ongoing road construction nearby makes it inconvenient for walking. E-hailing drivers also avoid entering the area, so they only pick up or drop off passengers on the nearby main road. The front desk service is good, and the room service is excellent. However, our room was near the lift, and there was a noticeable smoking smell outside the room. The toilet also had a sewer smell. One confusing issue is the hotel’s name. It’s displayed as Gluck Hotel, listed as Leica Hotel on e-hailing apps, and called Laika Hotel on Trip.com. This inconsistency can make it difficult for guests to locate or identify the hotel. Overall, it’s a good hotel. There are a few high-class restaurants nearby, which is convenient if you don’t feel like traveling far for meals.

Hotel is near the dongmen shopping area with many restaurants. There is also bike share available near hotel. Friendly front desk staff.

The location is good, but the hotel is too old. Moreover, the rooms occupy a few floors only, making it a bit chaotic & poorly managed.
