首先以為是超五星的大酒店，結果是僅僅有21間房、開電瓶車走一圈不到5分鐘的純粹“陸地”小酒店！ 除了中間空地有幾個鞦韆，酒店還有啥設施？？沙灘和泳池都是隔壁的水上世界的，需要門票進入，距離還不近；
接着，來數數我們這一行的幾大BUG：
第一，去沙灘泳池需額外付費！！我們一行3大2小，2間房，衹送4張門票，多出一人，必須再購買一張60元的水上世界門票才能去沙灘！！！？？？ 當初就沖你有沙灘預訂的酒店，結果沙灘不是你們的？？
第二，房間吵鬧！房間正對着水上世界的沖浪池，大喇叭時不時放着蹦迪音樂，尤其晚上簡直無法忍受的吵鬧！好在晚8點關閉！
第三，屋內的活蟑螂！第二天吃完早飯會房間，被一個仰面朝天垂死掙扎的蟑螂嚇到了，它躺在客廳中間，太刺眼！
第四，電話壞了！從入住當天發現電話壞了，到第二天想通知酒店前台有蟑螂，又想起電話壞了的問題，就很煩心！
第五，冰箱不製冷！帶了葯，需要放冰箱，發現冰箱完全是常温！第二天酒店説這個冰箱是專用酒水冰箱，如需低温，需找前台單獨存放！！？？？
總之，非常非常失望，算是最近幾年體驗感最差酒店，沒有之一！投訴前台種種，她們僅僅説幾句抱歉，然後叫人員消殺！最後還是找攜程解決了投訴。但酒店的態度，就是歡迎我下次再光臨，會幫忙升級服務！！？？

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional welcome from the front desk team. Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located in shantou old city , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities exceeded my expectations. The facilities were modern, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private VIP big room facilities, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – cleanliness, service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

UUtente ospiteHotel was pretty new and not far from the HSR station. It is also fairly near to the Zhujiang Night Food street.
Rooms were decent however, the knob for the shower was broken when we checked in. We requested for a change in room but they said they'll send a technician to fix it, and if it cannot be fixed then they'll change our room. Design of the shower cubicle was a little flawed as water seeps out to the room itself. It also seeped through to the toilet cubicle, making the floor wet.
Each room was only given a tiny bottle of shower foam, shampoo and conditioner. I can accept having only one tiny bottle of conditioner but how can 2 big adults share one tiny bottle of shower foam and shampoo? I think that bottle alone was only enough for half my body ... Hahaha. I saw the housekeeping auntie and asked for more but she was rather reluctant but eventually gave us 2 more. As I have a habit of also taking a shower in the morning, we used up the shower foam. I asked the housekeeping auntie again the next morning and she said 'you already took extra yesterday' hmmmm...
Amenities were also not carefully checked and one of the vanity pack (cotton buds and cotton pad) was actually a leftover/half used from the previous guest.
Highlight of the stay has got to be the red peach kueh making session. It was fun, and after making, they will ask if you want to eat it straight away or have it for breakfast the next day. Nice gesture.
All in, a pretty good stay.

The loft apartment showcases a striking modern design that is both artistic and inviting, creating an ideal environment for relaxation. Its convenient location is another significant advantage; situated near a variety of local and international dining options, the property is merely a 10-minute taxi ride from the high-speed railway station and the largest shopping district in the area. This makes it perfect for both culinary exploration and retail therapy.
A delightful highlight of my stay was the complimentary in-room breakfast for two. This included delicious Chinese dim sum alongside both sweet and salted soya milk, providing a wonderful start to the day. While there is no conventional television in the apartment, the presence of a projector, which supports in-app movies and screen mirroring for Apple and Android devices, offers a unique and enjoyable alternative for entertainment. Additionally, the apartment was equipped with an appropriate number of guest amenities and bathing necessities, ensuring a comfortable stay.
However, there were some drawbacks that warrant attention. One significant concern was the extremely slippery bathroom floor, which could pose safety risks. The addition of an anti-slip mat would greatly enhance guest safety. Furthermore, I found the storage water heater to be somewhat inconvenient, particularly during winter. Waiting 20 minutes for hot water after each shower was frustrating, especially for those who prefer longer showers.
Lastly, as an apartment without a reception area, the check-in process could benefit from clearer instructions. A more straightforward guide for guests would be advantageous.
In conclusion, while the accommodation offers numerous appealing features, addressing these noted drawbacks would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Apartment staff was very friendly and helpful, gave us a gift upon check in and a token of appreciation via WeChat upon check out. Can stow luggage in their office before the check in time and travel freely. The view was beautiful in both day and night. Location wise is very convenient!! There's malls nearby and most bustling food street (night market) is just around the corner.

UUtente ospiteThe grand hotel is located in the city of Chaoyang - a small industrial city - possibly best known for it’s production of undergarment. Chaoyang is approximately 39-45 minutes (by car) away from Shantou city center.
The hotel has recently been elaborately renovated which explains why it - for the most part - looks like it was just recently built and opened. Older reviews are therefor inaccurate.
I visited a friend in the city and during my stay I enjoyed the comfort of one of the hotel’s two-room business suites. Both rooms (living room and bed room) can be separated by a proper door. The bedroom has its own nice big bathroom with a toilet, huge shower and sink.
In the hallway (before the living room) there is a restroom with its very own toilet and sink. This is very practical if you plan to receive guests in your business suite - because they won’t have to walk through your bedroom in order to use the toilet.
I never had a business suite before but when I saw the price and the pictures I suspected it could be an amazing deal - and it absolutely was. I would love to stay at this hotel again.
The hotel has a small restaurant that offers a good Chinese breakfast. A spa and karaoke-bar are located inside the hotel. In my business suite I I never noticed the bar. No noise. I was going to visit the the spa but it was closed due to renovation.

My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room.
It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness.
Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside.
Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible.
Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need.
Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!!
All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.
