My usual stay in Shantou is International Hotel although older but is exceptionally good . This time we decided to try out the newly opened Hampton by Hilton and we were very impressed with its use of latest technology eg : contactless card key which gives direct access to the floor level that one is staying with a swipe of card and prompt response from the housekeeping with the use of robot delivery. The front office staff are very helpful and informative and they helped us to book Didi to our destination when there are no taxis available. The breakfast is varied and good. Of course I still prefer the breakfast at the revolving restaurant on top of International Hotel

First time staying in Atour hotel. The room size is big and bed comfortable. The room TV is huge. Location is great,with the hotel next to the 2 largest mall in the city. There are many good food along both sides of the road of the hotel.. A market is within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The young staff are enthusiastic and helpful. Greets you whenever you walk past the reception. There is free congee supper every night. Cons - can smell smoke from the corridor even though we selected a no smoking room. We will stay in the hotel if we visit again.

Services and location are pretty good. Hygiene is very good. I like the shower utility the most, it’s really comfortable. I requested for help with the television and the staff was very efficient and helpful. One disappointment is the efficiency of the wifi and charging battery is way too slow. Overall, I had a satisfy experience there!
