We have recently returned from staying at Appley Lodge guest house, where we had the most wonderful stay. Gareth and Wendy were excellent hosts and greeted us with a warm friendly welcome. Nothing was too much, and all of our needs were catered for. They were very helpful in every way, with the booking procedure which included the ferry journey as well. The location is perfect for all amenities and exploring the island. The breakfast was outstanding, plentiful and very varied which catered for all. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable and replenished daily with tea, coffee, biscuits and water. A truly pleasurable experience. We will be back.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Wendy and Gareth were friendly hosts with good recommendations. Plenty of variety for an excellent breakfast. Nice veranda to sit outside. A number of good restaurants just 10 minutes walk away. Recommended.

Wendy and Gareth were excellent hosts. A warm welcome by Gareth. Great breakfast even got me gluten free bread. Room was spotless and had tea making facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A great base to tour the island Sue & Emma xx

Superb B&B! Gareth and Wendy were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was hot and tasty with an excellent selection. The location was very convenient right next to beach!

gareth and wendy are superb hosts, most helpful ,nothing too much trouble. the hotel was spotless and modern and our room was very spacious. breakfast was very good, piping hot with a good selection. gareth booked our ferry at a discounted rate and as we arrived by car a designated parking spot was ours for the duration of our stay. we arrived early and our room was made available to us, no hanging around for a check in time. all in all a superb stay and as we are regular visitors to the island appley lodge will be our go to accommodation in future. thank you gareth and wendy

Lovely place to stay. Gareth and Wendy are excellent hosts. They have thought of every last detail to make your stay enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently placed. On-site parking. Book your ferry through Gareth for a substantial discount. Highly recommended.

A first class experience. Wendy and Gareth were superb hosts with lots of local knowledge and advice. The breakfasts were amazing with various alternatives including a full cooked breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Gareth was very helpful in booking the ferries and advising us on local transport options.

Gareth & Wendy are the best Hosts. From our call to book our stay to the minute we left, they did everything the could to make our visit a success. Provided us with the best price for the ferry, ensured they could produce a Gluten free breakfast & offered advice about the island as we explored. Wendy made Gluten free Granola and had purchased GF bread. Every other item in the Full breakfast was GF anyway. Brilliant. Our room was large, clean & comfortable. Small fridge was useful with a couple of complimentary water bottles supplied each day. A lovely base and one we highly recommend.

Wendy and Gareth were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, also you can sit on the verander and relax. The rooms are very clean and the shower was excellent. Gareth kindly gave us a list of local restaurants in the area which was very helpful. We used two of the restaurants and the food the restaurants was excellent.
