Luccombe Villa Holiday Apartments

"Prima di tutto, vorrei dire come sono sorprendenti Chris e Katy. Abbiamo soggiornato qui tre volte, due volte da quando hanno preso il controllo. Sono così calde, curando persone carine che ora li consideriamo amici. Non potevano fare di più, così duro lavoro amichevole, cura di coppie. I nostri ospiti assolutamente perfetti. Ti fanno sentire benvenuti e rilassati in un fantastico appartamento vacanze .Abbiamo già prenotato per rimanere di nuovo nel 2027! L'alloggio è fantastico, bellamente decorato, spazioso, senza spot, confortevole con letti confortevoli e tutte le attrazioni che potresti avere bisogno. La posizione è stupenda, tranquilla, con giardini bellissimi e la ciliegia sul torto è la piscina riscaldata all'aperto di recente ribaltamento! Gli appartamenti sono anche a pochi passi dalla stupenda cine shanklin, che è un luogo turistico da vedere se si visita. La cinevita vi porta una foresta magica con un'acquafalla e bellissime piante che portano alla spiaggia di Shanklin e il pub convenientemente posto il tetto del pescatore sul fronte della spiaggia, grande per un pasto o solo un drink o 2. Non possiamo valutare abbastanza gli appartamenti di vacanza di Luccombe. Questo posto è una vera gioiello e anche grande valore per i soldi. Non solo il posto migliore a Shanklin, ma uno dei migliori sull'isola. Ha tutto quello che potresti desiderare se vuoi la porta perfetta.Vorrei aggiungere che questo posto non è solo per il soggiorno estivo, ma sarebbe perfetto per un piacevole soggiorno invernale."

Haven Hall Hotel

"L’hotel è davvero in una posizione meravigliosa, direttamente sul mare con una vista spettacolare. Fin dal momento dell’arrivo ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati dallo staff, che si preoccupa di ogni tuo bisogno o necessità. Le camere sono ampie e arredate con cura (il letto è comodissimo!). La colazione ricca di scelte sia buffet che a là carte. Davvero consigliato per un soggiorno romantico di coppia! Grazie mille a David e sua moglie Ariette."

"Everything you could ask for and more. First class hotel and nothing was a problem to Paul the gadget man and Vicky who were perfect hosts along with all the other staff. Great choice for breakfast. Room was large and comfy with great sea views from balcony. Keep up the good work."

"Our second visit to this superb b & b. Expertly hosted by Hayley and John whom endeavour to ensure your stay is most enjoyable and relaxing. Cleaned to a very high standard and the breakfasts are top notch with a great and varied selection. Any hot food is expertly cooked by John and the whole dining experience is overseen by Hayley. Both hosts are very knowledgeable regarding places to visit and things to do. A well deserved high rating on Tripadvisor."

Villa Mentone Hotel

"The owner seemed really helpful and changed our ferry when we were delayed. The views from the property and location are great , reception also looks clean and modern. However once you climb the stairs the age shows, the carpet was loose on the stairs and in our opinion a trip hazzard, the handrail provides support, perhaps the stickiness of the handrail is helpful to some? The room was too small to fully open the bathroom door, the bathroom floor still had grouting all over if and felt unclean. The carpets generally felt unclean, perhaps because of their age. Upon arrival there was a banquet, we ordered drinks which were flat, after complaining we were offered alternatives for which they tried to over charge us. Our little girl had water and ice served in a dirty glass (it had lipstick marks on), we asked for a clean glass but were offered another dirty glass. When we pointed this out we were asked to select a clean glass – the ability to do so appeared beyond the staff member. There is a buffet breakfast, for us the cooked breakfast seemed to be dripping in fat, yoghurts are left out and not refrigerated, the toast was the best thing on offer, coffee is worth a miss. The owner said the breakfast was good value for money, if you are not fussed about quality, and just want quantity, then I see the point, but I can’t think of a worse breakfast I’ve had in the last 5 years. Before posting this we did mention concerns to the owner, we also reviewed the hotel review and pictures which we don’t believe are a true reflection of our stay. This hopefully will allow others to make a more informed decision regarding their stay."

The Royson Guest House

"Abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno di 2 notti presso il Royson. Nigel e Sharon hanno pensato a tutto!! Abbiamo ricevuto un caldo e amichevole benvenuto. I piccoli dettagli della nostra stanza erano così pensativi - deliziose panini a casa, bolle per i nostri figli e il cioccolato caldo e macchie di maschio sono stati un colpo enorme! La nostra stanza di vista sul mare della famiglia era perfetta e spaziosa! La colazione è assolutamente deliziosa e cucinata per tutti!!"

Birkdale Guest House

"We arrived after a long flight from Australia and checked in at the Birkdale Guest House. From the minute we were greeted by Colin and Lesley we felt right at home at this venue. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had lovely decor. Everything was so clean and fresh including the spacious bathroom. The choices for breakfast were amazing, just so many and the food was delicious! The fruit salad was definitely the best fruit salad I've ever had! Birkdale Guest House is in a great location to access the old village with lots of eateries within a short walk, also close to Shanklin Chine and the beautiful Esplanade. The local buses are efficient and frequent and also very close by, if like us, you don't have a car. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay on our arrival into the UK and so glad we chose to visit the Isle of Wight. Thank you Lesley and Colin. "
