The Fawley Guest House

This is a family Guest house and we were welcomed and treated as well as any family could be. Zac checked us in and carried all our bags up to our room, Dad cooks the best breakfast ever, Grandad in the lounge was happy and friendly, and Melissa was kind and helpful arranging everything we needed. The room was spotless, beds comfy and we had fun playing some of the games on offer and used the breakfast area for takeaways. If you want a stress free stay where nothing was too much trouble, and if there is an issue, its resolved within minutes.... This is the place! Thank you to Melissa and all her family for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to visiting you again some time.

Well what can I say an amazing welcome by the lovely Mel and Aiden..me and hubby have been coming here over our anniversary and Mel always goes above and beyond decorated our room and a card on the bed these lovely touches ..its like home from home . We love seeing Roger Zach and saying hi to grandad ...breakfast is to die for really sets you up for the day delish 😋...and the b&b is a short walk from the gorgeous Shanklin beach ...we love it here bedroom's are immaculate and if you need anything everyone is brilliant to help or advise in great places to visit....we will be back defo !!!love it xxxx

Well what can I say!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! First ever visit to the Isle of Wight and it did not disappoint, The Fawley is a beautiful B&B only a walk away from a gorgeous beach. We met with friends and had an absolute blast. Mel, James, Roger and family were fantastic and saw to our every need, it felt like home from home, they welcomed us like we were family and the accommodation was superb, breakfast was huge and delicious and a wide selection of cooked breakfasts, pastries, fruits and cereals. If we were stuck for things to do then Mel would give us suggestions of places to go, she really knows the island and we had options of so many places to visit. We honestly couldn't have asked for more, one of the children wanted somethinh for breakfast they didn't have one morning and within 10 mins this was gone out and got for them, what a service and certainly wouldn't find that at home!! If you are looking for a break away please give this wonderful place a visit as you will love it, thank you to the The Fawley team for making a holiday to remember 🥰

Yet again another Amazing stay at The Fawley. Mel was attentive as ever and the room was amazingly clean. 2nd time we have come back to stay just due to mels amazing warmth and exceptional hostess. Love the fact it is a family run establishment and nothing is ever too much trouble, Zak is an absolute diamond helping us with our bags up to our room and even offering to help load our car up as well when we left. Going to miss the evening chats. Tried the self-catering flat this time and was superb. Everything we needed was there. We tried out a new suggestion from Mel, Robin Hill, what a beautiful place. Kids absolutely loved it. Just the knowledge she has of the idland and what places would be best for my sons, especially with an SEN child is priceless. Will DEFINITELY be returning again next year.

Wonderful weekend away, at a truly family run establishment. It's lovely to see generations of the family pulling together, to run such a gem of a holiday home. Cannot recommend more highly, and can't wait to return. Thanks guys

Very disappointed after reading the reviews we arrived to find the guest house looking very run down we were shown to our room & my wife smelt an odour so she pulled pillows out of pillow cases & we could not believe our eyes 3 of the pillows were stained brown not just small stain the whole pillow. I have never seen anything so disgusting in a guest house. understandably we did not stay & left immediately.

Thank you to Mel and James, we had a lovely stay, rooms were clean and airy. One of our group is cealiac and it was lovely to sit and eat breakfast without her having to worry, excellent food options for all of us. This guest house is close to the train station and the beach.

Perfect central location, 10 minute walk from the railway station, 10 minute walk to town, 10 minute walk to the seafront, lots to do for both younger and older, we saw a show at the theatre - approx 15 minute walk, lots of great shows there too. Fantastic hosts, lovely welcome, nothing too much trouble at this family run B&B, lovely clean rooms, really comfy bed with a smart ensuite with complimentary toiletries, the best breakfasts with lots of choice including cereals, pastries, fresh fruit & yoghurt, full English (of course) pancakes.... the list goes on :) - what more could could you ask for, thankyou Mel & James for looking after us for a couple of nights

We were heading down to the sea front in desperate need of refreshments with a 4 year old in toe. We stopped for some sandwiches, drinks and the loo. We sat outside but did go inside to choose. It was nicely furnished and clean as were the toilets. Great food reasonably priced. The owners are very welcoming and family oriented. Would consider staying sometime.
