Comfortable and quiet stay. Room is clean and of good size. All toiletries you need are provided. Bowl of welcome fruits in room. Good breakfast. Not much around in the vicinity though.

This hotel is really nice for facilities, beauty and especially service. The hotel staff name Vivi, Ann, and the others always give me good advice for anything I ask and respond so quickly. Location is great, center of everything you need. Breakfast are delicious. They also allow early check-in and late check-out. I am so impressed. Recommended!!

The hotel is located between Songzanlin and Dukezong Ancient city and it is easy to get around in DiDi.

Good service staff, forgot the ticket and kept it for me, and the room is clean, worth the price, can walk to the bus station about 800 meters.

Was disappointed with the service. Front desk wasn’t as helpful though room key card couldn’t unlocked room door. She didn’t apologise, just replace n nothing said. Hotel breakfast was ok. About 3km to Dukezong Ancient Town.

Very well located in between the main spots of the city. The room is not very big, but it's clean and comfy. The staff is very professional, always pompt to solve any problems, even in the night: their attitude is a great value for the hotel. The breakfast is good and with enough variety, and the restaurant offers as well a good deal for dinner.

The staffs at counter desk were courteous, polite and well mannered and willing to go the extra mile to help by changing the room for me. Even the hotel cleaners were very courteous and well mannered which i appreciated them very much. This hotel has welcome self service drinks. I arrived too early for checkin and they accept my baggage and placed them behind their counter and gave me a reference tag for my baggage for security reason by so by matching the tag which i feel confident placing my baggage with the hotel.

Beautiful hotel kind of out of town a bit. It was a fantastic room and staff were extremely helpful.

We had a really good experience during our checkin at the hotel. The manager, Vivian went to our bedroom to make sure we are comfortable. When we mentioned the weather was too dry, she got her staff to bring a humidifier for our room. The humidifier help us a lot. Our room had a beautiful mountain view. The next day, Vivian even gave us a late checkout for our hi speed train back to Kunming was at 4:15 pm. The best part was after touring Pudacuo National Park, we came back to the hotel at 2:30 pm and needed lunch for we were hungry before we catch the train back. The hotel restaurant chef has gone for his break. Vivian went to the extend of calling the chef back to cook for us. We had a good meal before we went to the train station. Her service was really incredible. Kudos to Vivian for making our stay in Shangri La so comfortable and meaningful! I would highly recommend staying at Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Shangri La.

It was very good hotel, including all the staffs and breakfast variety (mostly for catering Chinese appetite even though they had a section of green salads and breads, butter etc.) Highly liked if we visit Shangri-la again.

transport to hotel from train station is convenient. good Chinese and western breakfast. staff are friendly and helpful. good stay.

Great stay. However, breakfast wasn't as fantastic as Hilton Resort & Spa Dali. They have special items (dumplings) for Hilton members but not for other guest, rather disappointing.
