Location is very strategically located within Duke Ancient City. Services are excellent as they offered pick up and drop off from/to train station upon our arrival and departure. Decoration is muji style. Bed is comfy and amenities are great as they have oxygen generator, humidifier and heating blanket. Breakfast is simple yet is what we need and taste good. Hot water supply in washroom is fast and consistent. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Is very important to choose hotel with oxygen supply and heater floor. I wasn't expect I would got altitude sickness. The guest service staffs and owner are very helpful, to help me with oxygen supply, warm water, and sweets. They are friendly and helpful, warm enough to remember each in house guest. Room and hotel are clean, neat and new. Location is great, just 10 mins to ancient town and nearby 3 to 5 minutes walk you may found local restaurants and rent for tranditional cloths which super convinience. I will recommend to my friend and family, and my next visit.

The place is really incredible, with large rooms and nice bathroom. The location is very convenient as you can easily walk around the city from the hotel. A big plus for the owner who is really helpful ! Would definitely recommend this place !

The inn is located within walking distance to the ancient town. We got upgraded to a bigger room! It was clean, comes with humidifier and heater. The breakfast is simple but enough. Highly recommended!

Foreigner is accept. The room was clean and cozy with electric heating blanket. The owner was very nice, can communicate in English and via google translate. The hotel is located in the alley, my driver call to the hotel staff for pick up on street. One set of breakfast. Only one thing that I dont like is strong smoking smell in the lobby but its unavoidable.

The inn owners are very friendly and friendly responsive to our request. The inn got its own car that could fetch us to stations for free. Their breakfast is nice. Location is very near to heritage town area.

Excellent location - on the edge of Shangri-La old town. The owners of the hotel will kindly pick you up and drop you off at the train station for free. Lee is very kind and helpful with any questions you have about getting around Shangri-La. The hotel itself is really beautiful with a lovely courtyard. There is a simple but good breakfast available. This is an excellent choice for Shangri-La. Only things to note are that there is no minibar/fridge in the room contrary to the room description, and the heating for the room is automatic and not controlled by the individual rooms. The heating is also only underfloor heating. I felt quite cold in the evening as a result but this may not be a problem for everyone.

The owner is so kind and they even drove us to the airport for free! The room is very nice, even has a heater in the beds. 100% recommend!

The hotel is conveniently within 5 min walking distance to the prayers wheel. There is a bus stop close by 3 min walk that will take you to most of the sightseeing spots including the Potatso national park. Above all, the concierge service at the hotel is immaculate!!! We stopped by Shangri-La as a transfer port for our Tibet trip. We arrived at 10 PM at the airport, the host was kind enough to pick us up after we landed and drop us off the next day. Not having to worry about transportation is a plus when you’re traveling aboard. The room and breakfast were as advertised. We appreciated the oxygen machine and the humidifier in the room. The overall experience is great and we’ll definitely book again if we are in the area again.

I had such a great stay at Lanyun Inn. Upon arriving at this quiet and comfortable Inn, I was immediately impressed by how spacious and inviting my room was. It came with heated floors, a comfortable bed, hot water, great wifi, and very convenient location. I got the best sleep here throughout my entire stay in China. I'm not sure if the girl working the front desk is the owner or not, but she is so nice. She helped me bring my bags to my room, answered any questions I had, and took me to the airport at 6am - no questions asked! I have to say the hospitality at Lanyun Inn is some of the best I've come across throughout my travels. Thank you so much for making my stay so great and I highly recommend staying here!

Very helpful, room was comfortable and had everything needed . for our 3 night stay . Breakfast was simple but fine . Even gave us a ride to airport on our departure day !

Nice hotel, fully equipped with facilities such as heater, dryer, oxygen generator. Lovely staff and breakfast.
