Come hotel a tema teatrale, puoi certamente creare un'atmosfera teatrale, ma devi trasmettere con precisione le informazioni agli ospiti quando effettuano la prenotazione, in modo che possano fare delle scelte in base alla situazione reale. Ad esempio, quando le luci nella stanza sono completamente accesi, puoi solo osservare attentamente la disposizione della stanza, ad esempio se le tende e i mobili sono neri o di colore scuro, ecc. Inoltre, non è possibile comunicare agli ospiti che ci sono lavori in corso fuori dalla finestra il giorno del loro arrivo; è necessario segnalarlo al momento della prenotazione. Era la prima volta che mi imbattevo in un cantiere che iniziava puntuale alle 7 del mattino con un trapano elettrico. Un'esperienza alberghiera davvero spiacevole. Ma l'atteggiamento lavorativo del personale è molto buono, cosa che va sottolineata, e anche il cibo del ristorante al primo piano dell'hotel è molto buono. È l'ambiente buio a renderlo insopportabile.

I spent two weeks in Shanghai as a solo traveler from the US, and The Drama was a wonderful home base. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, the staff were kind, courteous, and responsive, and there was plenty of food options in the area, as well as meals offered by the hotel. I was very pleased with my stay and will not hesitate to come back to The Drama on my next trip!

Great location in JingAn. It's also a creative hotel, enjoyed the room setting and decoration.

Whenever we visit Shanghai for leisure, The Drama is our hotel of choice. Location-wise, the Drama is in the middle of Jing'an District, with plenty of food, shopping and other amenities within walking distance. It is also partnered up with one of the best immersive theatre productions out there. The rooms are very spacious and thematically decorated - it feels comfortable and at ease to spend time lounging in the room. The Drama itself has a Library and an in-house restaurant, not to mention one of the warmest front of house team. The team shows such wonderful hospitality and takes such pride in their work. It is a balance of class and personal warmth.

Location and service were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy.

I had an incredible time for my birthday at the drama hotel. The staff friendly the rooms were superb and the atmosphere of the entire place was electric. if you are looking to spend within this price range and stay at somewhere very special this is a definite first choice for you!

The hotel is differently to others but quiet good. The rooms are well designed The bed is comfortable just there was no showers article at room I has to asked reception for delivery. Breakfast is good also it is delivered to the room directly.

Interesting concept with detailed decor, great service, free supper

What an amazing little gem this place is. It’s tucked away behind the McKinnon and is truly unique in many ways. I’ve touches are the Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the room, daily fruit in your room and never ending chocolates on the front desk. Having a balcony in the middle of the city filled with herb plants is the best!

Overall good but I found the room a bit dark.
