A Peace in Paradise

We badly needed a break from busy life and chose Peace in Paradise. It met our expectation. Very quiet, beautiful atmosphere, complete privacy in the lovely GARDEN CABANA.(recommended for couple get away). We love you Peace in Paradise, we will be back.

So wonderful all around! I stayed for 5 days and could do 5 more. I used the kitchen to cook, but also loved the restaurant recommends Erade gave me. Erade and her son were very generous, offering bananas and coconuts from their amazing gardens. The sound of the rain on the roof and birdsong in the morning were peaceful, and I slept great. The A/C was a life saver. I walked down to the beach morning and evening and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding. Most of all, the property is amazing. Palms and pineapples everywhere. And two great dogs too! Highly recommended.

Erada ist a lovely person, with an old soul. She has put her heart into these houses and garden, that is why it looks and feels so incredible! When I finally packed out my stuff upon arrival in the villa where I stayed the first night, I felt likt I had finally arrived at the Seyshells. Erada made me feel so welcome. In the evening I layed in the hammock sofa at the terrasse, listening to the birds. For me, the birds are the sound of the Seyshells! When I opened the door every morning there was a strong bird sound - I loved it! Erada is very forward thinking, she is thinking green, recycles, supports sustainability, is healthy life style minded, which are the core features and values of this location. I would definitely stay there again!! Local Tipps: Easy Dinner at Lunch Box (they serve different dishes and fishes for 5€), groceries at Mini Mart (a friendly Indian man with fair prices), the beach anse a La Mousche is also nice, during the day it apparently is a lagoon, but I only visted it in the evenings after dinner. It is not that clean, but the locals also come there in the evening and enjoy the hot, hot, hot water. And one can enjoy the sunset!

Awful, awful, awful on every account. We were supposed to stay 19 nights and left after 3. I cannot list the problems with this rental in this space. 1) No hot water in kitchen to wash dishes, 2) no microwave, coffee maker or hardly any other appliances, 3) RUDE host, 4) Shattered glass door unrepaired-dangerous, 5) TV broken, 6) Light is a bare lightbulb hanging from ceiling, 7) Beds are tiny, 7) Dingy to say the least, 8) No grill or firepit, 9) Constant construction going on at the property, 10) hardly anywhere to park, 11) Insecure, intermittent WIFI. I could go on but it's obvious this is not a good place to stay. Many better options on Mahe.

Superbe emplacement à la lisière de la forêt tropical et à moins de 10 mn à pied d'une magnifique plage, très peu fréquentée lors de notre semaine de séjour. Nous étions dans le grand chalet avec une très belle terrasse équipée, tout autour du logement et qui donne sur l'incroyable ''jardin parc'' avec ses plantes et arbres tropicaux, ainsi que la majorité des oiseaux endémiques aux Seychelles. On les voit vivre leur vie, faire leur nide, se nourrir... et on les entend chanter à longueur de journées. J'ai pris d'incroyables photos de ces oiseaux. Impossible de les voir dans les parcs naturels payants (vallée de mai, fond Ferdinand...). Bernadette et son fils sont à la fois discrets et attentifs aux besoins de leurs clients. Le logement est très spacieux et confortable, sans vis à vis, hormis les jolies plantes. Côté cuisine, il manque juste un micro-onde pour réchauffer les plats préparés à l'avance ou les take-away, et éventuellement un auto-cuiseur à riz pour le côté pratique. Sinon il y a un four que nous avons utilisez pour cuisiner un délicieux poisson rouge appelé localement ''bourgeois''. Donc tout était presque parfait. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit pour les amoureux de la nature sauvage et de la photographie des oiseaux/végétation. Plaisir garanti

Это место стало раем моего пребывания на острове. Уютное шале, где есть все, что необходимо для релаксации , и глубинного отдыха. Кухня, барбекю рядом. Все пространство это прекрасный сад с цветами, поющими птицами и милыми гекконами, улитками и джунглями окружающими эту ухоженную территорию. Самое ценное это милая хозяйка, улыбчивая, внимательная, заботливая, отвечающая на все вопросы.
