L’hotel è stupendo, le camere sono curatissime con soffitto a cassettoni in legno, stupende. Colazione molto varia con prodotti fatti da loro. Il personale molto gentile e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti! Consigliato al 100%

We were a party of 5 adults with 3 rooms. Our stay at the Hotel de I'llwald was a standout during a 2-week trip. It's in an idyllic location, just outside of town, with easy access to major roadways. Our rooms were charming and comfortable. Dinners were delicious; waitstaff were welcoming and helpful. They made wonderful recommendations of Alsatian wines, for example. But the real treat? Breakfast. Real care had been taken in putting it together. We enjoyed the most delicious freshly made yogurts, breads, jams, cheeses -- you name it. Fresh fruit in season. Hot pot of delicious coffee. It set us up for full days of exploring. Well after our trip, folks in our party would say: "You know what was great? The Hotel de I'llwald!" And it was.

Today we wanted to spend the night at this hotel, unfortunately we were not welcome while we have labradoodle dogs that do not shed etc. it seems good to adjust the site to that only 1 (small) dog is allowed. Whereas now it says they are welcome. Missed Hospitality opportunity.

The hotel is located away from everything,very quiet and serene area, no shops,no noise, nothing. The grounds are well kept and very green. Our room was amazing and had a large terasse, the bed was super comfy. Good continental breakfast and if course - the pool!

Das Hotel liegt im Nirgendwo, mitten in der Landschaft, an einer Strasse. Das Anwesen ist gepflegt, die Zimmer stilvoll. Das Restaurant bietet Köstlichkeiten, von Kaffee mit Gebäck bis zum mehrgängigen Abendessen auf Topniveau. Jederzeit und gerne wieder!

Contrairement à ce que son nom indique, l'Auberge de l'Illwald est située au milieu des grandes prairies encore inondée du Ried alsacien, à l'est de Sélestat. Elle mérite qu'on s'y arrête. L'accueil et le service sont avenants, le repas de qualité (la portion de noisette de daim fut énorme) et les vins au verre de grande qualité. Les grands crus sont servis à partir de magnums, notamment un Vieux Télégramme qui mérite le voyage. Si vous avez le temps, n'hésitez pas à visiter l'Abbatiale d'Ebersmunster, l'unique église en France de l'art baroque autrichien et surtout la bibliothèque humaniste de Sélestat. Deux perles de l'Alsace un peu à l'écart du vignoble (à l'est de l'A 35).

Beaucoup de charme pour cet hôtel non loin de selestat et proches des marchés de noël Gentillesse du personnel Chambre et literie de qualité avec cafetière à dosettes. Manque 1 petite bouteille d’eau Petit déjeuner varié , Servi à à table avec des ingrédients de la région .

Situation privilégiée pour les visites des villages alsaciens et de SELESTAT. Belle demeure traditionnelle transformée en hôtel entourée de jardins, vergers, terrasse et piscine Grand parking Chambres et salle de bains spacieuses côté cour Dîner et petit déjeuner excellents avec une très belle présentation Très bon accueil. Service avec gentillesse et professionnalisme du personnel

Nous y avons passé 1 nuit un dimanche soir après notre mariage. Les + : Nous avions une agréable chambre donnant sur la piscine, dame au petit déjeuner très agréable, bon petit déjeuner, nous avons très bien dîné sur la terrasse et le personnel était attentionné, la piscine Le - : nous avions signalé à la réservation et le matin au check out que nous nous étions mariés la veille et que nous venions le lendemain de notre mariage et pas d'attentions particulières ... dommage
